Moon Knight Episode 6 Spoilers

From the mind of a DID system

This is it, everyone! The final episode of Moon Knight! Oh, what will await us?

Wow! A lot happened in this episode, but you’re not here for the plot. You’re here for the DID insight. Here’s the first bit. Marc saving Steven from the sand. He confides in Steven that Steven was always there to protect him and Marc tried so hard to protect Steven from everything in turn. These two clearly care very much about each other, even though they haven't personally known one another for long.

Moon Knight and Mister Knight are back and they’re working together like a badass system would and should. So exhilarating to see.

Jake Lockley makes another off screen appearance, saving the lives of Steven and Marc. Jake don’t have no issues snapping a few necks.

Further on the topic of Jake Lockley, there’s actually an end credits scene in this episode! We see Arrow being escorted out of the mental ward into a limo with Khonshu and Jake Fucking Lockley. Turns out even though Steven and Marc asked to be freed from Khonshu, Jake said no such thing and totally has no issues dishing out justice in his name. Fucking sweet, bro.

Again, they put the mental health notice at the end of the goddamn credits and not near the beginning like it should have been. Still, you wouldn’t even notice it unless you were looking for it. Fucking bullshit. If mental health was really important to them, they would have made a bigger deal out of it. But that’s just my opinion.

I still have questions. Is Harrow truly dead? Is Ammit still bound to him? How did Jake come to be? What’s his game? Will Marc, Steven, and Jake ever be properly introduced? Because Jake is still in servitude to Khonshu, does this mean Steven and Marc still are too?

Do I think the show did the character justice? Well, I’ve never read the comics so I can’t say for certain, but I think the show was fun, the plot decent, and I enjoyed the characters most of all. Steven, Marc, Harrow, Layla, they were all good and convincing characters. Mad props to all the actors/actresses. If they can do good on Moon Knight, why the ever-loving of fuck can they not do the same to my man Bruce Banner?

Moon Knight Episode 5 Spoilers

From the mind of a DID system

Hot damn with the crazy! Episode 5 dropped today! Let’s see what adventure is to be held this week.

We start this week off back in the psych ward with Arrow still under the guise of a psychologist/psychiatrist and wouldn’t you know it, we find out Steven and Marc are definitely dead. I gotta say, I really dig the whole psychiatric ward angle. All those doors that lead to memories. The ward is a fantastic headspace to crawl around and discover things. I’m sure Marc is definitely struggling with the journey to balance the scale. Especially since he’s trying to keep Steven away from the truth.

Oh boy, we find out for sure that Steven isn’t the original. Marc is. Steven was created out of necessity, due to the abuse Marc endured by his mother. His now dead mother. Good, fuck her. Can I just say fuck mothers? They suck, the lot of them. Can’t trust any of them. (I have mommy issues XDDD) To be honest, it reminds me of Bruce Banner and his abusive father. I almost expected to find out he, too, had to kill his mother in self defense, but no. The bitch keeled over on her own time in Marc’s adulthood.

Steven Grant is a fictional introject!! You’ve no idea how happy that makes me. And just like with some FIs, he varies from his source material. Watching Marc’s first initial split into Steven really hit home for me. I can’t tell you how many traumatic events I’ve bounced back from as a kid in this manner. Actually makes sense to me now how I was always able to bounce back from things. Oops, this isn’t about me.

I appreciate the fact that the traumatic event that sparked Steven was prolonged trauma and not a sudden traumatic event. Lots of alters were born from prolonged trauma and that kind of trauma can feel invalidating as it can feel like it wasn’t so bad. Some of my alters were born due to the prolonged abuse in my household while others were sparked by a singular event.

Back to them scales. The scales are shown to be unbalanced and wavering during the episodes. I figured this was because they hadn’t found Jake to add his heart to the scale but when Steven falls off the ship, the scale is shown to balance and Marc finds himself in the field of reeds, alone. Interesting. Was Steven unworthy to pass on like Marc was? Poor Steven is now just some sandstone in the backwater of nowhere.

We've got one more episode left before the end. There's still so much to be seen. I know I'll be watching.

I moved things around in my room. Now I can see all the wonderful stuff I have on my wall. I didn’t take a picture of my wall of boxes or my plush pile. My brown leather duffel bag isn’t in the shot either. My own big brown duffel bag like David Banner. One day I’ll commission a bag maker to make as close to screen accuracy as we can get, seeing as how no one has found his duffel bag as of yet.

Yo holdup! I took the pictures! See, I’m not that lazy.

And dinner is just about done. I’m ready for today to end.

My brain is in the dark place again. 💀

Nothing I do will ever matter, no matter how hard I try, I will fail, and absolutely no one values my art or my skill. People aren’t buying commissions because my works are inadequate. I’m poor at coloring and I struggle immensely with anatomy. My art style is nonexistent. It fluctuates and varies from piece to piece. No one wants that. Everyone wants unique styles and quirky characters, neither of which I have. I know I can draw many things, but I struggle to draw for myself and no one wants me to draw anything. Why after ten years have I not improved enough to gain a reputable following with a decent inflow of work?

Nobody wants my bracelets when there are better ones out there. That and only kids, teens, and depressed adults wear kandi bracelets. I swear I’ve made more bracelets for conventions and my friends than I have for business, which has been none. Anyone who does reach out about them quickly slinks away, never to be heard from again.

I don’t know why I ordered custom pins that no one will buy. I could have made a pin about any untapped marked and it wouldn’t matter, because I made it. That makes it immediately unappealing and undesirable to the rest of planet earth. No one has jumped on the waitlist and I can expect the same reaction to the pins releasing. Radio silence. A true waste of money, now that I really look at it.

I have skilled hands and a keen eye for detail, yet here I am. Wasting my life away on endeavors that go nowhere. I’m so tired of my brain telling me bad things. It never tells me anything good anymore.

My goddamn Moon Knight necklace broke during the night. DX Woke up with these tiny, rubbery disc beads all over my bed. I quickly cobbled them together and placed them in my bead container for later decisions. It was kinda early this happened. I ended up making five bracelets out of what I was able to save later in the day, including the pendant.

I’m sad the necklace broke after only two months, but I’m happy I was able to save what I could and repurpose it to wear again.
