After you’ve met your quota on Salmon run your job is to stay alive. Especially if your team gets splatted quite often. Its good to try and collect eggs to go over the quota, but focus on staying alive till the next round or until the end.

Be careful how you aim an inkzooka! If the top part hits something, then the whole thing dissipates. To avoid this, aim slightly towards the ground so the pillar doesn't reach as high. Very helpful in Museum D'Alfonsino.

If you’re packing an echolocator, hold off until you know that no players are waiting to respawn, this includes team mates and enemies. This way, you make the most use out of your special by having your whole team know where the whole enemy team is.

The brushes are indeed wonderful weapons to use if you learn them right. But remember to take a break when using them! You may think you’re okay using them for extended periods of time, but pushing yourself too much could easily strain your hand from all the rapid button pressing. The same could be said for any weapon like this (Nozzlenoses and Sloshers for example), but you tend to hit the trigger quicker when using a brush.

Super jumping is very helpful! Jump to base if you have no way out! Jump to any safe space to safely launch an inkstrike! Jump to a friend in need or a beakon about to be destroyed as a kraken and surprise those who might be waiting!

You CAN look fresh and have good gear at the same time, you just need to savescum, orderscum, or get lucky. There are guides online which shouldn't be hard to find, but the whole process can get really tedious, especially if what you're going for isn't a natural roll or is what the brand doesn't favor.

Please don't squad with friends so that they can help carry you to S rank. Trust me when I say that we can tell the in solo ranked. There's a reason that you can only get up to A+ 99 in squads. You're really just gonna have a bad time and you'll make your teammates have a bad timd. Same goes for those who savescum their rank to S+.

The Squiffer is not a sniper rifle, it’s a carbine. Just because you can charge it doesn’t mean you should. sometimes, a barrage of weaker uncharged shots is more effective than one single hit that will guarantee a splat.

All chargers flash when they are fully charged. If you happen to see it, it might not be the best idea to charge at them. Wait for them to shoot or turn into a squid before rushing them.
