So I was staring at the opening theme for S1/2 in my free time and I just had this pop out pretty heavily.

That’s S1 theme, with Van’s near death experience.

In the S2 theme there’s this:

Now I am absolutely certain we have not seen this yet, but like... the similarities are stark.

I’m pretty bad at faces, but I THINK this is correct:

Which means we’re missing Shauna, Taissa and Nat. But THEY all survive... Is this about the baby? Does one of the three go through a bad situation and survive like Van did?

There is, in fact, sexual tension between Tuvok and Lon Sudor, but there is also something tragically romantic about their dynamic as it is presented in the show. Sudor is no doubt dangerous, but Tuvok actually BELIEVES in rehabilitation of some kind (which some of the writing in Sudor's initial episode was not amazing about imho). However he brings an intensity that Tuvok has never (assumedly) met before in anyone else. On top of this intensity, is Sudor's telepathy. It challenges Tuvok's ability to train the Betazoid, requiring him to integrate himself more into Sudor's frame of mind. That then results in his moral disgust conflicting with the seductive, easy nature of violence Sudor presents to him. Lon Sudor is such a conundrum to Tuvok's sense of justice that he begins to mirror the same violence that Sudor lets loose unabashedly. It drives him up the wall with rage and he cannot stop thinking about it. Then there's the bittersweet ending and Sudor's sacrifice and Tuvok's decision to honor him using Vulcan rites. It's actually lovely, despite being weighed down by the actual plot of the episode. I also really genuinely enjoy Tim Russ and Brad Dourif's acting.

This week's Only Murders ep helped nothing with the case, or my emotions. Between last ep and this, I forgot everything and joined rouge celestial beings, so hopping on the murder train was daunting. Not to mention watching Oliver smoke, that wasn't "super sexy". My views aside, the end with him in bed made up for all of it LOL

Idk what to think anymore about who killed Ben, but I do know they can't afford Meryl Streep for next season so she is either involved or her and Oliver are going to break up.
