Mad theory: This Is How You Lose the Time War is compatible as a sequel to the Revelation Space universe.
The one side as the ultimate evolution of Greenfly, nature and greenery everywhere.
The other side feels like some sort of strange descendent of the Conjoiners, with the ultra tech and hive-mind-ness.
Since the Revelation Space setting possibly implied time travel, clearly it's a result of the few surviving Conjoiners from Galactic North and Greenfly... well, getting into a time war.
When you want to be outta this manor like yesterday, but the kid and his friend are more interested in investigating the screaming and drama than heeding your calls to escape.
Readmore for I guess spoilers for second last chapter of By-less Scarlet Blaze?
Wtf is this??? This was an option???
Why wasn't this an option the first time I did the fight??? Why did it make me kill him??? Is it because I took all the deer and made him fight his friends?!? Is that what let's him live?!?
Those conversations hurt, btw. And I'm going to share them
I'm not sure if Raphael had nothing to say to Hilda, or she died too quick...?
The Blue Lion reunion isn't much better...
Also not sure if Dedue said anything to Ashe or Mercie? But that's what I get for playing on easy with level 60+ characters ^^;;
Can't fit Dimitri's screenshot, I'll add it somehow
if there's one thing this last episode has affirmed for me about Alastor it's that he FUCKING HATES being reminded that he's not the most powerful creature in hell.
Like, he hates being ignored by Carmilla when she says she doesn't care why he was gone
He hates Lucifer ON SIGHT
He threatens to KILL Husk when he dares to mention that Alastor is working for someone more powerful than him
and now this.
Alastor freaking out because he almost died. Something almost killed him. He can fucking die. There is something more powerful than him out there. And it's not something he can ignore or brush off because it almost killed him.
Alastor hates the reminder that he's not as powerful as he tells people he is. He isn't indestructible, he isn't invincible. And he fucking hates that.
gale's reaction to mystra telling him to blow himself up is obviously heartbreaking but on the other hand it is deeply DEEPLY hilarious when Gale, Learned professor of renown, is like "if there was another way to defeat the absolute don't you think the goddess of magic would have thought of it" and the band of badly socialized half-feral murder children he's running with just go "well maybe the goddess of magic is stupid, gale"
