Hey there! Whatcha doing this weekend? What did you think of the new LU update?

Hi!

I've been working on a couple different fics, editing and stuff, and picked up sewing again in the form of adding flowers to my petticoat for a upcoming Renaissance fair!

Here's what I'm going for, and my mix of flowers.

As far as LU? I'm still processing, but I adore all the dynamics between Time and Twilight, as well as Older Brother Wars with the gremlin trio!

Time is a total Dad in this, and the references to the Hero's Shade were just 🤌🤌🤌

Don't ask me how, but Malon KNOWS. And since she can't be there in person, she's making sure Time is mother-henning him in the meantime.

(if there was also a part in there about a certain new addition to the family, I wouldn't be surprised...)

Four being the emotionally mature one is surprisingly on brand, and I am here for it! Super excited to see the dynamics there with him and Twi, and I hope to see more in the future!

🖤 What horror movie villain terrifies you the most? Why?

Jason Voorhees😭 I haven't watched many horror movies (I would love to watch all of them but I'm SO easy to scare🥲) but I've seen Friday the 13th and him not speaking but just being there all of a sudden scared the living shit out of me (I was definitely too young when I watched it at my friends house. She had to go to the bathroom with me bc I was too scared to go alone lmao)

Same as 🖤... She only convinced me to watch it because Jared Padelecki was in it😂 (right after watching Conjuring, like- what was I thinking? But it reminded me of supernatural so that one was fine lmaoo)

🎬 What horror movie messed you up as a kid? What’s the most disturbing movie you’ve ever seen? Why did it mess with your head? I don't remember movies that really messed me up as a kid (but that's an overall issue of me not remembering much of my childhood) but the first movie I watched that actively left me shaking and unwell for a while was "Sinister". I can't even put my finger on it, perhaps the gruesome details in general, the stuff that was only implied but horrific nonetheless (lawn mower scene ...). To this day, no other movie as come close to evoking that much actual horror in me as Sinister has! Thank you for the ask!! <3

1- What is your favourite piece of spooky folklore or mythology?

uhhh idk if this counts but there was that tumblr post that went around forever again about werewolves and old women going into the woods and calling the werewolves by name and it causes the men to return to their normal form bc of the love and acceptance and it has fucking STUCK with me i love it so much i think about that concept on like, a daily basis and wrote a mcshep fic about it

i just think it's fun

if that doesn't count then i'm going with slenderman bc it terrifies me and when i watched the videos about it i couldn't sleep for a week but also its fascinating to me

Can you explain to me how the mechanics of Legend's mermaid tail works? Need to know for fanfic reasons.

Uhhh, I'll give it a shot? Never really put a lot of thought into it?

So Legend thought it was just an outfit that could be removed whenever at first, but turned out to be a cursed item? It can never be removed, but the curse is only active if he's in a body of water. (We don't subscribe to H²O mermaid magic where it only takes a single drop of water. That's impractical.)

When the curse triggers, it causes a full body anatomy shift. It's not pleasant, but I'll leave that up to you 😉
