Sometimes, I think about that one time when Deku just took a heavy metal plate and used it to cut off a robot’s arm without any hesitation or any use of his quirk.

Okay??? But it's the way Katsuki's howitzer impact gives me the same goosebumps as izuku's smash for me

Katsuki yelling at Shoto to use his fire because there’s no point to this fight of he can’t be better than Deku
vs
Shoto who is still reeling from trauma flash backs being yelled at to be harder to fight so his opponent can be better than the kid(Deku=Midoriya?) he definitely just beat
vs
Izuku sitting in the stands with a broken arm with his new friends witnessing Katsuki yell at the kid that just beat him to be harder to beat so that he can be better than him
vs
Anyone other than those 3 forced to watch this all this happen with zero context

MHA 2.4 - Strategy, Strategy, Strategy - part 2
Tumblr media
Wow, way to summarize my own social life. “Isolated”, haha. At least you came in first in the race, totally worth it right? Right?
Tumblr media
REJECTED. By the most unremarkable side character no less. Getting ignored by the tail kid is a new low for our small broccoli boy.
Tumblr media
Yes! She is the sweetest of sweeties. I knew we could count on Uraraka to pull through. She has the perfect quirk for evasion too.
Tumblr media
Same here, Deku, same here. Uraraka could put her fist in my chest and make my heart a scrunchie any day.
Tumblr media
Good to see that Deku already knows who his future sidekicks are. Go team!
Tumblr media
WHAT! DOUBLE REJECTION! I did not see that coming. Leafy Green’s day keeps getting worse, first rejected by Tail Kid, and now he is rejected by his own future sidekick. Rough.
Tumblr media
Shhhh, no one tell him that robots can’t grow. Wish on a star, Iida, maybe someday you will be a real boy!
This is an admirable stance. I get wanted to stand apart from your friends at times in order to grow as an individual. I like this direction for the character.
Tumblr media
Personal space, puh-lease! I would like to have a ‘Personal Bubble’ quirk. Can you imagine? Whenever someone gets too close I would generate a big bubble to bounce them back. Love the cyber-punk googles though.
Tumblr media
Ahhh hell yeah! Now THIS is a team. I cannot wait to see what the Darkness Birdy can do in battle. Let’s goooo!

Endeavor, angry that Shoto is still third in the Hero Billboard rankings: I Told you to get into the number one slot!
Shoto, happily dating Izuku and fully down to goad Endeavor towards an aneurysm: First of all, I did. And He told me I was quite good at it.
Izuku, walking by, and 100% ready to support his boyfriend's shenanigans: Second of all, our sex life is none of your concern.

I'm not generally a Bakugou fan, but the end of the Sports Festival got me thinking- he's screaming, trying to break free, obviously angry, right? But he also must've been freaking terrified. Think back to the Sludge Incident. He was being suffocated, could barely move, and everyone was just standing there and watching. He was scared out of his mind, silently pleading for help that no one would give. And now, here he is, muzzled and chained to a podium in front of thousands of people, all sitting and laughing and watching and doing nothing. And All Might is there, smiling and congratulating him for a false win, acting like nothing is wrong, like Bakugou isn't having flashbacks of one of the worst moments of his life. Like the metal pressing up against his lips doesn't feel exactly like the cold slime trying to force its way into his mouth. Like the restraints don't remind him of how difficult it was to move, to breathe. He might've looked angry, sure, but I'm sure if someone had looked closer, had really watched him, they might've noticed how frightened he was.
Just a thought.

BNHA Redesign/Rewrite Part 2
Part 1
During the two weeks before the Sports Festival Izuku trains relentlessly while helping Mei make the support items for the other students
On the day of the Sports Festival Izuku is confronted in the waiting room by Shoto. Shoto approaches Izuku telling him that he overheard the deal he and Aizawa made and that there's no way Izuku will be able to win because "to be a hero you need a strong body & quirk" Izuku tells him he's wrong an storms off.
The sports festival has three events but begins with an obstacle course race.
First Shoto tries to take out as many opponents as possible by covering the ground w/ ice. Izuku manages to get past but as he does he realizes the first obstacle are robots ahead of him swinging at any students unlucky enough to get too close, Izuku manages to get past by grabbing a metal plate & using it to severe the head of the robot by using the robots momentum against itself as it fell forward on Shoto's ice.
Next Izuku has to pass a massive cavern on ropes, he grabs one and slowly crawls across, managing to get a cross but he realizes he's fallen behind.
The third obstacle is a field of landmines, Izuku has an idea and begins digging up an piling the mines after gathering enough he takes the large metal plate he grabbed and jumps atop the pile, launching himself forward. He quickly gains the lead though he sees Katsuki and Shoto on his tail and using the last of his momentum slams the metal plate onto the ground to propel himself further landing harshly but making it to first place, allowing him to advance the the second event: a Cavalry Battle.
Izuku them finds out that the contestants are given points based on where they placed in the race and he is now worth the most points.
Because of the target now on his back he struggles to find teammates but luckily Ochako decides to join him, quickly followed by Mei and finally Tokoyami, The event begins & they're first attacked by team "TetsuTetsu" & team "Hagakure" but thanks to Mei's gadgets and Tokoyamai's dark shadow they manage to thwart their attacks.
The team takes to the air but is attached by a very pissed Katsuki. Tokoyami blocks Katsuki's attack though and the team lands safely, things are okay for a while but soon enough the team is confronted by Shoto's group. Izuku and Shoto's team battle but unfortunately Shoto manages to snag Izukus 10 million point head band though Izuku is able to surprise Shoto by fainting an attack an grabbing one of Shoto's head bands, though without much time left to spare realizes it's a low number head band an panics, Tokoyami comforts him an shows that he too got a headband an they have enough points to move into the last event.
Before the third and final event the students are given a lunch break, during which Izuku is again cornered by Shoto in private. Shoto asks why Izuku is trying so hard to do something impossible an Izuku explains the discrimination he's faced an how he won't give up no matter what, Shoto gets frustrated an tells Izuku his backstory (how he was born from a quirk marriage an was raised an trained by endeavor to beat All might an be the #1 hero) to try an 'prove' that you need a powerful quirk to be a hero but Izuku is horrified by the story an says that anyone can be a hero as long as they are determined to save people and storms off.
(* All of this is over heard by Katsuki)
The final event is revealed to be a Tournament and Izuku's opponent in the first round is a student named Hitoshi. Who approaches Izuku to talk but before Izuku can say anything a student named Ojiro stops him and warns him to not respond to anything Hitoshi says.
A confident but sceptical Izuku steps into the ring and quickly begins his brawl with Hitoshi. Both holding their own before Hitoshi begins angerly questioning why Izuku won't use his quirk and more out of reflex then anything else Izuku makes the mistake of answering and suddenly is frozen in place.
Hitoshi tells Izuku he admires him for doing so well during the sports festival despite being quirkless. Then Hitoshi tells him to turn around and walk away, Izuku under the effects of his quirk obeys the command & slowly begins to leave the ring.
Still conscious, Izuku tries to stop himself but cant, suddenly someone (Mei) begins screaming from the stands, telling Izuku she'll kick his ass if he quit now before he got into the hero course.
The sudden outburst manages to startle Hitoshi long enough for his quirk to weaken on Izuku. Izuku uses the chance and suddenly bolts to Hitoshi punching him square in the jaw before grappling him around the waist and throwing Hitoshi out of the ring allowing Izuku to move to the next round.
(here I would have an episode cover the matches between Denki vs Sevo, Shoto vs Ibara, Mei vs Ilda, Mina vs Yuga, Momo vs. Tokayami & TetsuTetsu vs Kirishima)
Izuku gets worried for Ochako as she is put up against Bakugo and gets it head on by one of Katsuki's explosions, Ochako manages to put up a fight, using the debris that Katsuki's explosion made against him, but eventually collapses due to exhaustion, losing the round. Izuku goes to check on her after the match an runs into Bakugo, congratulating him on the win.
Izuku then goes into his next match vs Denki, the fight starts with Denki getting multiple hits on Izuku shocking him several times an telling him he should quit but Izuku notices when Denki shots his electricity across the ground it doesn't hurt him, realizing the rubber bottom of his shoes is keeping him safe he quickly comes up with a plan.
The match turns as every hit & bolt Denki throws is blocked by a kick from Izuku until Izuku manages to get Denki on the edge of the ring an bunny kicks him right out of bounds, winning the match.
(Here I would have an episode cover the matches between Shoto vs Iida, Mina Momo, TetsuTetsu vs Kirishima tie breaker & Kirishima vs Bakugo)
After the match Izuku runs into the pro Hero: Endeavor. Endeavor tells Izuku to give Shato a good fight, Izuku knowing about Shoto's life w/ Endeavor tells him he'll beat Shoto and he's gonna do it without a quirk Encheaver gets pissed but Izuku leaves before he can do anything.
After Izuku and Endeavor's talk the next match begins.
Izuku prepares to charge Shoto but barely manages to evade Shoto's ice though he has the idea to use the ice as cover while dodging an weaving his way closer to Shoto. And as he sneaks close enough he punches through the ice, breaking two fingers, grabbing hold of Shoto's hair to bash his head against his own ice wall.
Shoto, pissed an dizzy, decides to try an end the match quickly by sending a massive wave of ice against Izuku, Izuku takes the hit head on but keeps hold of the ice to not fall out of bound then climbing the ice back into the ring.
Izuku knowing that too much use of his ice will start to freeze Shoto, berates him and tells him to stop only using half his power when everyone else is doing everything they can to win, Izuku demands Shoto stop pretending to be weak an face him like a man.
An enraged Shoto rushes Izuku but with the frostbite affecting his right side Izuku easily lands a hit on him however Shoto uses his ice and hits him right back. Izuku begins berating him again mocking Shoto's goal of disowning his father by only using half his power and Izuku lands another hit knocking Shoto to the ground then falling himself.
As they both struggle to their feet Izuku tells Shoto his power is his and his alone.
Shoto, moved by izuku's words, declares he'll be a hero and activates his fire and the two boys charge at each but before they can connect a wall of concrete separates them Shoto punches through but the blast of fire an rubble sends Izuku flying back, when the smoke clears Izuku is lying outside the ring coughing.
Waking up Inside recovery girls room Izuku sees Mei who immediately berates him for antagonizing his opponent, saying Izuku could've won if Shoto kept using his ice.
Izuku apologies but says he wanted to help Shoto overcome his depressive ways of thinking, Mei yields and helps Izuku return to the stadium to watch the final match between Katsuki & Shoto, during the match Shoto keeps from using his fire which pisses of Katsuki who thinks Shoto is looking down on him
Izuku yells for Shoto to keep fighting which enrages Katsuki even further, Katsuki's explosions getting bigger an harsher until he knocks Shoto unconscious, winning the match.
After the match Izuku talks to Ochako & iida and iida tells them about how his brother was attacked by the hero killer: Stain

One Thing I Want To Happen After the War:
The UA Sports Festival is eliminated or changed in some aspects.
I did not like the fact that the festival was only made to single-out and make the class not help each other but only look out for themselves. It was all about popularity and ranks and contributes to that double standard for hero society.
It would be different if the class tries to win as a whole against other classes, but I don’t like the fact that there was this intense pressure on every teenager to basically worry about their own ranking rather than to help their teammates/classmates.
