A lizard got stuck on the sticky trap I put down for daddy long legs...I was able to take the trap outside, spray the lizard down with cooking oil and use a thick piece of paper to peel it off the trap and luckily it was still alive and was able to go on its way.

I would never use a glue trap on large animals and I'm not sure how the lizard even got inside.

#i don't even know why i continue to pay orkin #their solution for the outside ant problem was bad #and the last guy who came didn't spray shit #unfortunately i was working when he came so I couldn't follow him around to make sure the right places were sprayed #i wanted to use the sticky traps to identify hot spots #but ugh i felt so bad for the lizard #i'm a stickler about leaving the doors closed #after the iguana incident

Last night I had to write a 14 page, 60 paragraph essay on walruses for my natural history test. I only had an hour, but I had no idea where to begin as I didn't have time to read the textbook. Instead, I was preventing a mind-controlling alien lizard takeover with salt water taffy.

#I took my anxiety meds again today bc I finally was able to get them from home #(I’m dog sitting rn and had forgot them but had to stop home bc we sprayed for bees and I wanted to scrub and bathe my lizard #I didn’t want him to get sick from the spray) #any way #I’ve had like 3 panic attacks in the past week since not taking the meds #while I’m a lil shaking rn I’m literally chill n not worried #I’m not crying over stupid shit #I took double what I should’ve but I was near panic b4 taking it so I needed to fucking chill #I know I shouldn’t take over 60mgs of stimulants after not taking more than 20 in almost 2 weeks #but fuck it nice not being on the verge of tears and being able to focus on actual shit that maters #not if people are watching me
