This might be the first and only time I post but I just want to say, if you are queerphobic/ Lgbt+ phobic, a TERF, an exclusionist, racist, misogynistic, disrespectful to religious people/religions and beliefs, forcing people to follow your religion and beliefs, hating on other's art, toxic, abelist, disrespectful or any other harmful/hateful thing you can be, LEAVE TUMBLR and GO/GO BACK to Twitter. There you'll find other people just as hateful as you who would love to hear what you have to say. Or, learn how to be kind and to leave people alone when they are not doing anything harmful. I know just posting this won't mean that everyone hateful is gonna go to Twitter and that Tumblr will be free of hate but I hope this can convince some people to change (or to leave if they don't want to change). There’s apparently some nastiness going around in the MK fandom. Don’t be that person. Don’t send anon hate, don’t send anon threats, don’t send anon negativity don’t send anything. Don’t send hate off anon either just don’t send hate. If someone’s ideas or thoughts bother you, be an adult. Block that person. Don’t harass them, this is ridiculous. We’re all fans of the same game, we’re all going to have different outlooks on things and that’s ok! Please I am begging y’all just be kind to one another. I have spent so many years in this fandom and have been on the receiving end of so much hate that I can’t stand to see others getting hurt. I fucking love Doctor Who and I fucking love Star Wars.

They’re both stories about love and hate, war and peace, pain and reformation. But most importantly, they are both about love in all its forms. Anakin’s love for Padmé, and his affection for Obi-Wan and Ahsoka, as well as his mother. The Doctor’s love for Rose and River, and his affection for all his companions. Din Djarin’s love for Grogu and the twins love for each other. Just love.

But what really ticks me off is that the fandoms are the dead opposite.

Sometimes they’re lovely, recognising the beauty of the story and what it means. The rest of the time they cyber bully people who disagree with them and make five hour long videos of why the show is shit. Instead of sitting down and enjoying 20-180 minutes of bliss, they find every flaw, blow it them of proportion, and scream for everyone to hear.

It’s fucking annoying.

And to anyone who’s interested in starting either show, don’t listen to popular opinion. Actually watch it and form your own, and allow others to have their own opinions and feelings. In other words, don’t interact with the fandom at all. They’re both horrific while the show is actually really good.

oh my god, i hope you are safe! and i'm so sorry for what you're going through. you said that 'a random woman on the internet wants you to know that she has unconditional love for you' (i'm paraphrasing), i want you to know that a random anon has the same for you.

I am definitely safe! There's really no worries about that anymore, thank god. I did want to protect the hearts of those I cared about and I don't know how much longer I'll be permitted to do so, but I just taking everything one moment at a time with an open heart of acceptance.

I've learned that resisting difficult events in my life makes it harder to get through it and to emotionally cope with it.

Thank you for the unconditional love, Anon!!! I always want to spread love, not hate. I still have to process the pain and sorrow felt without stuffing the emotions down, but instead of returning hurt for hurt, I want to transform hurt into healing for others.
