Hurricane Family Lore:

Once upon a stormy sea, the life and force of the waves (@socialc1imb) was made, alongside her sister, the breeze (@squigglywindy), which always tossed around debris as she frolicked in the skies. One day, it was warmer than usual (perhaps due to the eruption of the volcano where a certain Mama Lava resided), and the air was more moist than usual, so when the breeze tried to drift close to the waves like she always did, it was so warm that she rose, rising until she cooled, up high in the atmosphere, and became a big fluffy cloud. Another part of her, cooler, did the same thing, and this happened until she wasn’t just one cloud anymore, but an entire thunderstorm. Then, she spun, upward and outward, making a spiral, and decreasing the pressure over the surface of her sister. She spun so much that she became like a cyclone, spinning around a center point at speeds much too fast for someone to be around, and the waves joined in too, splashing about along with her sister. This happened until many small waterspouts (the kids) arose, created from the winds in the storm, and the newly made Hurricane Family went from coastal city to coastal city, decimating everything they saw.

Woah, this really got away from me, I didn’t mean to type that much!

I hope you like it! Anyone can add on to if they would like to! (For example: @ludoluck can be the rainfall, and @skyloftian-nutcase can be the atmosphere, or something like that, I don’t really know 😅.)

(Also, I say I don’t like writing, then I do something like this. I think interacting and being virtually around such amazing writers is really rubbing off on me.)

Sorry this took a bit, I couldn’t resist a snippet…

Warriors stared at the invitation with a growing sense of dread. He hated family gatherings.

It wasn’t all that uncommon to dread an upcoming event. To try to think of an excuse out of going to see the family, to be forced to socialize with every extended relative under the sun. But this? This was different.

He already knew how it was going to go; it was always the same. They would be waiting. Lurking, lying in wait, an entire arsenal of weapons in their grabby little hands. Swords, bows, ice picks, anything that could be used to inflict pain. And if they weren’t waiting outside, meeting him on his way down the sidewalk, they would be inside. The doors would be locked, and they’d be peering out of the windows, stopwatches in hand to measure exactly how long it took him to get visible hypothermia. They would have their notepads, furiously scribbling notes as if he were a subject to be studied.

He could practically hear them now, cackling in their homes, stroking their cats with sinister grins as they plotted how best to use their time together.

Yes, Warriors hated family gatherings. But he had no choice. They would find him, wherever he went. There was no escape.

3. (Do you drink the milk out of the bowl after the cereal is gone?): Yes! Milk my beloved I drink so much of it. However with cereal like mini wheats where the milk gets bits in it that taste like cardboard and feel like tiny knives, that trash goes down the garbage disposal.

26. (Have you ever won a contest?): I have! I've won a couple baking contests, and I won a swimming competition, and I used to show chickens and won a couple of those :D Oh oh and I won a coloring contest at Little Caesars' pizza one time when I was eight but I was a paranoid kid and didn't put my real name on it (did put my real phone number though, kid logic) so we got a call asking if 'Suzy Sickens' was available because she'd won a free pizza and we went to get it and I made my parents call my Suzy and keep up the charade the whole time we were there

47. (Do you like Amusement Park rides?): Nope. I get motion sick if I kick my legs a lil on a swing, the most intense I've ever gone were those lil teacups that spin around and it was the worst five minutes of my life XD

Wait…what!? No I actually haven’t heard this news. To be completely honest, I haven’t been keeping up with anything new revolving around RWBY or Roosterteeth in general since I’ve been focused on other stuff. Where was this news announced and did it mention further exactly why RTX been canceled for next year?
