I have a bias Towards achillean Odile x MC, so maybe them talking about books together? Or them playing in the snow? Or just them being cute with each other.
not strictly achillean because i prefer keeping my requests general but here's some quick winter fluff with Odile that lowkey got me in my feels about xem...
Laughter bubbles in your chest as another snowflake falls to rest on Odile’s jaw. It stays there for a while, unperturbed by the unnaturally cool skin, and for one exhilarating moment you think it will never dissolve. But then it does, its crystals melting into a single tear. You watch with a sigh as it trickles down Odile’s neck, and xe shivers a bit.
More snowflakes follow. They settle on xyr hair, on the tip of xyr nose, on xyr pale lips, or they add to the faint freckles on xyr cheekbones like a flurry of butterfly kisses, and they linger there as if time is freezing just to allow the encounter. And then they vanish again. The whole time, Odile doesn’t move. It’s as if xe’s trying not to spook them, transfixed by the show. Xyr dark eyes gleam silver, and it dawns on you: xe’s been trying to make the snowflakes last longer, probably focusing xyr magic to slow the rush of xyr blood. Quite the reckless move, for something so trivial. Your brows furrow.
“Is this your first time seeing snow?” You know, as you speak, that your guess must be right.
Odile blinks a few times, almost reluctantly, to shake more snow from xyr lashes. Xe looks like xe’s been caught doing something mischievous– if xe could blush, you suspect xe would.
“Mhm,” is all xe offers, and you have to purse your lips to keep them from curving into a grin.
You’re a child of snow, raised in a land where winter is king among the seasons. All of this, the blinding white of the landscape, the puffs of air leaving your lips at every breath, or the sting of cold on your fingertips and how it gnaws at your skin, it’s familiar to you. But Odile has lived all xyr life hidden in an enchanted forest and has never known ice and frost.
“Pretty, isn’t it?” You make sure to school your smile into something softer, knowing rather than teasing. Xe regards you for a second and then smiles back faintly.
“Very.”
When you reach out to slot closer to xem and cup xyr face in your hands, xe lets you without a complaint, wrapping xyr arms around you almost out of reflex. “Are you cold?” You ask a bit worriedly, because while xe still looks as pristine as a marble statue there is a faint vein of purple to xyr complexion that’s almost ghoulish.
“We should go back inside,” you try, but you don’t make it past the first step because xe stays firmly rooted in place. What– Xyr face suddenly buries in your chest, the curve of xyr nose against your collarbone, and this time you do laugh.
“No.” The answer is barely audible, squished against the thick pelt of your clothes.
“You don’t want to go?”
Another hum. “No.”
“We can warm up next to the fire, together.”
Your voice comes out dripping with honey, as if trying to coax a child. Odile’s reply, however, is as stubborn and petulant as the previous ones; and an equally definitive ‘no’. Xe raises xyr head to meet your gaze and your heart almost skips a beat at the sight of xem, eyes glossy from the frosty winds and a small frown softening the angles of xyr face.
Childish has never been a word you used to describe Odile, but as you watch the vaguely pouty curl of xyr lips, it is the only one you can think of.
“Just a while longer,” xe pleads, and no power in the world could ever help you deny xem. You nod, and xe smiles. More dazzling than the winter light. Xyr hands find yours and manoeuvre them until they rest on xyr cheeks again, almost as if to say ‘warm me up’, and you shake your head fondly, letting your thumbs rub circles across xyr jawline.
Odile sighs, xyr eyes briefly shutting in contentment. Then xe opens them again and tilts xyr head questioningly; you know what xe’s asking without having to hear it. Your lips find xyrs barely a second later. If it’s warmth xe needs, you will gladly share yours.
Neither of you notices the snowflakes quickly melting on your faces as you kiss slowly.

I wonder if Etho was any of the anonymous bidders at the Hermitcraft charity auction
If so, Tango should have auctioned off a Decked Out 2 deskmat just so that Etho can be the second highest bidder and lose out on getting one for the second time

Up next is Special Stage!
Tumblr media
Special Stage is a MASSIVE asshole and a farcry from the heroic Sonic. He has lost all morality and has no issue with taking down anyone in his way, especially if that someone is Tails. He uses his rings to hurt people and can corrupt those with code since he's already corrupted. The sad thing about SS is that I have neglected him in the past due to not having much interest in him despite having one of my better designs and stories. However, I am ready to be a better parent and give him more love.

pairing: yuta x fem!reader genre: fluff, romance, travel!au, strangers to lovers!au words: 7474 author's note: and i'm back again
You heard the door opened, revealing your sister who just got off from work. Taking a quick glance at her, your eyes shifted back to the city lights in front of you.
“I brought dinner,” you heard your sister say as she walked towards the kitchen. “I’ll heat this up so we can eat.”
“Sure.”
You nodded your head without even bothering to look at her. It didn’t take your sister, Yubin, long to prepare dinner. Soon enough, you could already hear her calling for you from the dining table.
“What did you do all day?”
You shrugged your shoulders, pulling the chair.
“Nothing…” you muttered under your breath before taking a seat. “Just stuff.”
Yubin let out a deep sigh and put her chopsticks down as soon as the both of you started to eat. She stood up from her seat for heaven knows what reason, reaching for her purse and trying to fish something out you didn’t bother knowing.
“Here,” she says, holding out something in front of you.
You stared at the piece of matte paper she was trying to give you.
“What’s this?”
“Go and find yourself,” Yubin responded, plopping herself down back to herself after placing the plane ticket on top of the table. “Ever since Lucas left, you’ve been like that. He’s not going to come back, alright?”
Right, he’s not.
Your eyes carefully scanned the plane ticket. Tokyo, Japan. A trip to Tokyo for two weeks was enough for you to look at your sister with wide eyes open.
“This costs a lot, eonni!”
She gave you a reassuring smile before gently patting your head before ruffling your hair, causing you to frown.
“Yah!”
“I have some business in Japan and I thought of tagging you along,” Yubin began to speak before taking a sip of her diet coke. “Just so you could take some time off and find yourself while I’m working.”
You let out a sigh. Concern was vivid in your sister’s eyes and you couldn’t help but feel sorry for worrying her a lot. It has already been months since that breakup occurred but you still couldn’t find yourself moving on from it. It was something that’s absolutely hard to recover from.
“Your breakup with Lucas totally broke you, Y/N-ah. I could no longer see your usual self and it seriously worries me to see you like that.”
“Eonni…”
Yubin gave you a knowing look before reaching for your hand to give it a light squeeze.
“Just come with me, alright?” she asked, eyes pleading. “Use this time to recollect and reclaim yourself. It’s been a year since that happened. Maybe it’s time to finally let it go.”
There are no words left to say for you. Your body immediately rose up from where you were seated and ran towards Yubin, throwing your hands to give her a hug. Even if you don’t say it, she knew how it meant so much to you.
“I promise, I’ll get better.”
Yubin nodded her head, hugging you back.
“Ï hope you find yourself soon, Y/N…” your sister whispered. “I believe you’ll be okay and be able to get back on your feet again.”
Her words really meant a lot. Her support, even. There’s no way you expect Yubin to go to this extent just to help you get over all of it.
“Thank you, eonni. Not just for this but for everything…” you said as tears started to form in the corner of your eyes. “For always being there for me.”
Yubin let out a chuckle, wiping your tears before they could even fall from your eyes.
“It’s what sisters are for, silly.”
8:09 am, Haneda International Airport
The anxiety about the trip was there and you could feel every inch of it in your bones. You presumed that Yubin wouldn’t be with you all throughout this trip since she has important matters to finish.
“I’ll be just dropping off our stuff in the hotel and then I’m off to my first meeting. How about you?” she asked without looking at you, eyes fixed on her phone as she pulled her luggage with her.
You shrugged, still not sure where to go and what to do first. As a matter of fact, you just felt like sleeping but at the same time, you wouldn’t want to waste the time of being in Japan. The both of you rode a cab and headed straight to your accommodation. The moment you plopped down on the car seat, Yubin started to ask questions as to why you failed to set any itinerary for this trip. Your sister has always been so organized with stuff and likes planning things and you were the complete opposite of her.
“Wouldn’t it be thrilling if I make it spontaneous?”
“Aigoo, you kid,” Yubin took a deep sigh before typing something on her phone. “Here.”
Your phone ding-ed, causing you to check on it. Yubin has sent you a message with a prepared itinerary. Your eyes automatically shifted towards her direction and gave her a squint.
“You’re really that prepared, huh?”
“I knew you wouldn’t bother making one so might as well do it for you,” she replied with a smirk on her face.
Yeah, right. You just don’t know what to do without her.
“I want you to enjoy this trip, Y/N…” Yubin began to say in a more serious tone, looking at you. “I hope you’ll be able to find yourself again.”
I hope so too.
Yubin left an hour ago and you were left in the hotel room with nothing to do. It was raining heavily outside, which you actually found weird because the sun was shining so bright earlier when you landed in Tokyo. Guess, even the weather is too unpredictable.
“Coffee sounds great right now…” you muttered under your breath before letting out a deep sigh.
Grabbing your phone, wallet and keycard, you surprisingly convinced yourself to get out of the room instead of opting for room service. It was a good thing there was a café in the hotel where you could chill for quite some time. You took a seat near the window where you can watch the people passing by outside.
“Mind if I sit?”
You almost jumped out of your seat when someone suddenly spoke, catching your attention. It caused you to look at him with horror in your eyes.
“H-Huh?”
“All the seats are full. Mind if I share it with you?” the guy politely asked.
Your eyes scanned the whole room and truth be told, the café was pretty already and overwhelmed with busy people getting their own cups of coffee. The weather explains why, though.
Slowly, you nodded your head.
“S-Sure. I won’t mind.”
You took a sip of your hot caffe latte before diverting your attention back to your phone.
“Vacation?”
“P-Pardon?”
The guy sitting across your seat let out a small chuckle before repeating his question clearly.
“Are you here for a vacation?”
“Ah, y-yes.”
You saw him nod his head as he crossed his arms. You were never the type of person who initiates a conversation with strangers but this guy is. Nothing much happened after that short conversation, though. He was just actually just waiting for his drink for him to take out.
“I bet you didn’t even dare to leave this room today.” Yubin presumed the moment she arrived.
“I did some research the whole day, trying to make my own itinerary,” you replied in an as-a-matter-of-fact tone.
“Don’t want to try mine?”
“I was planning to explore places outside Tokyo first…”
It was what you have been thinking the whole day since you wanted to make the best out of the two weeks of your stay in Japan. It’s not every day you get to go here and it would be a total bummer if you just decided to stay at one place when there’s a lot out there to explore.
“How about Osaka?”
“Exactly. I’m going there tomorrow morning.”
A big smile crossed your sister’s face, a sign that she approves.
“Have you booked a place there already?”
You gave her a knowing smile as you nod your head.
“Consider it done, eonni.”
9:14 am, Tokyo Station
Observing the number of people around, it is no wonder that this train station is indeed the busiest one for you and the chance of you getting lost while finding the right train line is extremely high at this point.
“Why are you so stupid, Oh Y/N?” you muttered under your breath as you rolled your eyes a bit in frustration.
You were already mentally hitting yourself for failing to understand the directions given to you clearly when you bought a ticket earlier. In fear that you would miss the train, you finally decided to ask the nearest person standing next to you.
“Excuse me?”
The guy who stood beside you turned his head towards you and to your surprise, he was the same guy from yesterday at the café.
“It’s you again,” the guy said.
You blinked your eyes twice.
“Ah, yes. Nice seeing you again, I guess?”
He let out a small laugh before nodding his head.
“Do you need help?”
“Actually, yes,” you replied shyly. “I’m bound to Osaka but I think I’m lost.”
His brows raised a bit upon the mention of your destination.
“Which way are you?”
“T-Tōkaidō Shinkansen.”
His lips slowly curved into a smile. The kind of smile that instead of giving you the creeps, a sudden surge of butterflies began swarming your whole stomach.
“Guess we’re on the same train, then?”
The guy showed me his ticket while flashing a charming smile.
He’s going to Osaka too?
The both of you hurried towards the line bound to Osaka and made it inside the train just in time, finding comfortable seats just near the corner.
“Are you going for a vacation in Osaka too?”
That was a first. The silence and awkwardness between the two of you was getting so intense that it’s getting harder for you not to initiate a conversation with him.
“No. I’m going home, actually,” he replied right away with a shy smile.
“You’re Japanese?!”
He let out a small chuckle as he nodded. He has this amused look on his face as he looked at you, completely taken aback.
“I am Japanese.”
“But you know how to speak Korean…”
“Yes, I do,” he replied.
By the look on your face, he figured you’re still in wonder how. He gets that a lot and so he understood the assignment and went on to answer your question that you got in mind.
“I’m currently living in Seoul because of work. I actually just came here to visit my family,” he continued. “I’m Yuta, by the way.”
Yuta extended his right hand towards you, asking for a shake. You took it and gently shook it.
“I’m Y/N,” you introduced. “Nice meeting you, Yuta-ssi.”
“It’s great to finally know your name, Y/N-ssi.”
There was a short pause after that introduction but you were quick to break the ice before it got silent again.
“So, you’re coming to see your family?”
“Yes. I only got three weeks here before going back to Seoul.”
“That’s nice, though,” you replied. “You have a lot of time to spend with them.”
The trip will take nearly three hours to get to Osaka. All along you thought the train ride would bore the hell out of you but thanks to Yuta, it didn’t turn out the way you expected it to be. The both of you talked about a lot of things, mostly about the places you should definitely pay a visit during your stay in Japan.
“Well, if it’s okay with you, I can show you around?”
“Really? But what about your family?” you asked with concern as you thought of his folks.
“I’ll go there to see my grandparents, actually,” Yuta corrected, scratching the back of his head. “My parents are both in Tokyo.”
“O-Oh, I thought…” you muttered under your breath before shaking it off and finally agreeing to his proposition. “Sounds great to me, though.”
The moment the two of you arrived in Shin-Ōsaka station, Yuta was kind enough to drop you off at the place you booked before he went straight to see his grandparents. But before he left, the both of you agreed to meet that night.
Just as you were about to throw yourself on the bed, your phone suddenly rang. It was Yubin calling, most probably checking up on you.
“Yah, Oh Y/N!” your sister’s loud voice roared through the speaker. “Are you in Osaka already?”
“I just arrived here, eonni…” you lazily sat on the edge of the bed before shutting your eyes close with your phone still in your hand.
“That’s good to hear. When will you be back again?”
“In three days.”
Yubin let out a soft giggle.
 “Sweet. Enjoy your stay, alright?”
Oh Yubin, the greatest sister of all time. You couldn’t help but be moved by just thinking how much effort she exerted just to make you feel better. It warms your heart to realize how lucky you are to have a sister like her.
While you were alone, you decided to visit the temples nearby in Osaka, as well as the park where you completely felt at peace. When the clock strike at seven, you received a text message from Yuta saying he was already waiting for you outside the place you were staying.
And yes, the both of you had already exchanged numbers.
“Ready for dinner?”
A simple yes to his question just wouldn’t suffice to the excitement you were feeling that even you could feel the flutter in your chest. Your eyes were glimmering like the stars that shone in the sky that night and Yuta couldn’t help but notice how beautiful those orbs were as they glittered. You nodded your head like a silly little kid, excited over a cotton candy.
“Totally!” you said, grabbing his hand and pulling him with you. Truth is, it has been a while since you last felt the kicking rush within you—making it a bit hard for you to recall the last time you felt that same kind of adrenaline rushing through your veins. It was just a simple dinner, nothing fancy, but somehow it made you feel alive.
“Is there anything specific you wanted to try?” Yuta suddenly asked, as his steps halted causing you to stop for a while. Just like you initially planned, you wanted everything to be spontaneous as it could be. With a mischievous grin slowly forming in your lips, free hand slightly tapping his cheek, you say, “Surprise me.”
Yuta brought you to Dotonbori. The illuminating lights around coming from the billboards, video screens and bright signages welcomed your sight. You scanned your eyes around the area, feeling more excited than you were.
“It looks so fun here!”
“It is.”
There was a canal in the middle where you could ride a boat and sail along the waters. You found yourself getting lost in the blinding lights before you as you looked around, still fascinated.
“Here we are.”
The smell of ramen quickly filled your nose, making your stomach grumble. It was enough to make your mouth water. The both of you opted to dine al fresco to enjoy the urban scenery that surrounds you.
“This is your first time here, right?” Yuta asked, taking the seat across yours.
You nodded your head cheerfully.
“Yes, it is!” you chirped. “I wasn’t really the travel type of person.”
His left brow raised a bit. You saw how curiosity filled his eyes as they began questioning before he could even speak. It fascinates you how you could already tell what’s on his mind before he even does something.
“What made you go here?”
“My sister tagged me along. Told me I can use this time to… you know,” you paused, contemplating whether it’s proper to say it or not but then, it’s the truth. “Do some soul searching?”
His mouth opened slightly, as if he was about to say something but then he closed it short after. But then you noticed his questioning eyes once more, growing more curious as seconds went by. It made you chuckle a bit. He looked like he was in pain, wanting to ask questions he didn’t know if it would be okay to ask.
“Shoot,” you said, asking him to ask whatever he has on his mind. He looked at you with his clueless eyes. Rolling your eyes a bit, you let out another chuckle. If he isn’t going to ask you then might as well be the one to just answer.
“I got into a breakup over a year ago and it was really terrible…” you began. Unsure as you were but oh well, it’s all out in the open. Hell, you don’t even know what’s got into you to become this chatty but the words were all just coming out from you so smoothly and comfortably. Not to mention, Yuta seems to be a really sensible and fun person to talk to, if you could just add.
“Have you visited any places earlier?”
“I went to see some…” you replied, playing with your fingers absentmindedly. “For starters, I went to Osaka Castle before going to Shitennō-ji Temple then I spent the rest of my time in Tennōji Park.”
Your answer earned a nod of approval from Yuta as his lips curved into a small smirk.
“Not bad for a first timer, huh?”
“What do you have in mind for tomorrow?”
He thought for a while as he stared at you directly into your eyes. It made you a bit conscious and questioned if he really thinks about things in such an intense way. Not that it made you uncomfortable. It’s just that he stares as if he was getting through your soul and with just a look of those fierce eyes was enough to send thousands of volts running down your spine.
“Do you want to go and see Universal Studios?”
Your ears tingle the same time your eyes glimmered at the thought of going to Universal Studios. For goodness’ sake, you’re going to see Hogwarts! Heaven knows how much of a fan you are of Harry Potter, having read all the books and seen all of the movies countless times.
“There’s no way I’m going to say no to that!”
Yuta let out a small chuckle that you found so fine and sexy. You couldn’t almost believe yourself even thinking about it. It felt so wrong to think that way but that’s just it. There’s no point denying the fact that this guy in front of you is hot whether he’s doing something or not–he’s just effortlessly that way.
“Then after that maybe we could go to Kaiyukan…”
“Kaiyukan?”
“It’s an aquarium actually near the Tempozan Ferris Wheel.”
Lost. That’s what you are now after he said a couple of unfamiliar places. He sure does know a lot. After all, it’s his home. How could he not, right? Suddenly you felt lucky having to meet him and show you around. I mean, it’s kind of rare to find genuine people and do you a favor like what he’s doing.
“You sure do know a lot, Yuta-ssi.”
The hot bowl of ramen finally came and your stomach couldn’t be happier. The both of you enjoyed your dinner together before agreeing to take a stroll.
“I hope you enjoyed tonight.”
Yuta took a side glance, seeing the light reflect on your crystal eyes. You looked around like a happy child, fascination completely filling the expression on your face. You were wearing a small but charming smile that totally caught his attention. You looked beautiful with that smile and after seeing it, he just couldn’t take his eyes off of you.
“I did,” you replied, looking back at him. “The ramen was so delicious. I could still remember how it tasted.”
“It is,” he agreed, nodding as he shyly looked away to avoid your eyes. “No wonder it’s famous.”
“Thank you for showing me around, Yuta-ssi…” you muttered under your breath, enough for his ears to catch it causing him to look back at you as he smiled.
“Drop the formalities, Y/N…” he said. “Just call me Yuta. And please don’t thank me yet. The tour just barely started.”
Placing both of his hands inside his pockets, his lips curved into a smile before walking steps ahead of you, enjoying the cold breeze of the air.
All along, you thought it was fun to travel alone. It is, though, but for some reasons you started to find it more fun to do it with someone. The next morning, Yuta took you to Universal Studios as he promised and had fun trying a lot of rides and going through some fun attractions. But what really made your heart go crazy was the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
“How are you enjoying your butterbeer, ma’am?” Yuta asked, sitting across you as he looked at you amusingly while enjoying your butterbeer.
“Delish!” you told him after you chugged, leaving a trace of foam on your upper lip causing him to laugh at your silliness.
You were enjoying your butterbeer and profiteroles when you noticed Yuta taking a picture of you and so you posed for one and then laughed right after. Placing the polaroid down on the table, he grabbed a tissue paper and extended his arm to reach your face, wiping the foam on your upper lip.
“I-I think candid shots are better…” you blurted those words out without even thinking. It just came out because your mind was too busy to process what he just did. Why was he making your heart flutter? Both of your eyes met and looked at each other’s eyes for a good moment. It’s starting to frustrate you that you could no longer tell what’s on his mind this time.
“What’s the difference? You look great, candid or not.”
He said those words to you without breaking eye contact. This time, making your heart beat wildly. There’s something in his eyes that always gives you that feeling.
“I-I’ll buy souvenirs!” you abruptly stood up from your seat, gathering your things. He gets on his feet as well, following your steps as you head out.
“Of course, potterhead.” he whispered to himself with smirk forming on his lips, looking straight at your back as you walked.
From Osaka to Kyoto, Yuta was there with you all throughout the places you’ve been. And the more days the both of you spend together, the more you get to know each other. On the way back to Tokyo, you rode the same bullet train with him as you shared stories together the whole ride and just like he always does, he drops you off to the hotel you’re currently staying with your sister.
“I thought you’re staying here as well?”
“Oh…” his mouth formed into an o shape before letting out a chuckle. “Truth is, I really just like the coffee that this hotel cafe serves. But I really stay with my parents a few blocks from here.”
You nodded your head, quite agreeing that the coffee there really does taste good.
“So… tomorrow?”
Yuta gave you a smile before nodding his head knowingly, completely understanding the assignment.
“Tomorrow.”
You looked directly into his eyes, wanting to say more but then that was it. Deep down within, you were kind of hoping for this night not to end this quickly.
“I’ll be going now.”
And at that moment, you wished he’d stopped you from going inside and to ask you for a walk even just for a minute or two. Your shoulders dropped a bit the moment he spoke.
“As you should…”
Slowly, you turned your feet around and started to take small baby steps towards the hotel doors when your name suddenly slipped out of his mouth causing you to look back at him in an instant–heart beating fast, eyes full of hope.
“Y/N…”
“Yes?”
Your eyes met his, meaning to say something you couldn’t quite make out of. He looked like he’s struggling with his words and was speechless for more seconds.
“I-I…”
You raised a brow, making your heartbeat race wildly and hands grow cold.
“I just want to say good night?”
Oh.
Disappointment showered your whole being but you were able to cover it with a small smile. Nodding your head, you gave him one last look before saying good night back.
“Good night too, Yuta.” you said in a faint tone, before starting to take a step. “Text me when you get home.”
“Will do!”
You gave him a smile before finally walking towards the door and going inside. Taking a quick glance before stepping inside the life, you found him still standing there as he gave you a small wave before turning his back. The elevator doors closed and your hands automatically went to check your heavily pounding chest.
His eyes. They were saying something and you were quite sure of that. But most importantly, why were you feeling the way you are now towards him? Still drowned with your thoughts about Yuta, you didn't notice that you were already on your floor. Thanks to your fast reflexes, you were able to stop the elevator doors from closing. Soon you found yourself knocking on your hotel room door, completely shrugging off the possibility of your sister not being there. However, Yubin answered the door as she threw hers hands to wrap it around you the moment she saw you.
“You’re back!”
“I bought souvenirs!” you immediately hand the bag over to her as you welcome yourself inside, pulling your luggage with you.
“Tell me what happened!” Yubin excitedly chirped as she followed you inside. “I saw your photos that you posted on your SNS! Looks like someone really had fun!”
Plopping yourself on the soft couch, you rest your back on the fluffy throw pillow as Yubin sat beside you, thirsty for some news and tea. She looked so excited to hear everything from you, meaning to know some juicy stuff she has been meaning to ask you since you left for Osaka.
“Osaka is just too beautiful. So many places to see…” you started as you reminisced how your trip went and how much you enjoyed touring around with Yuta.
Yuta. Then there he was again running in your mind once again. You tried to shake your thoughts about him away and focused on sharing your trip to your sister. “Then I went to Kyoto before I went back here. I swear, I really enjoyed exploring the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! You know how much I love Harry Potter and I finally got to taste butterbeer!”
“You even bought me a wand, silly you!” Yubin said, fishing out the wand that you bought from the bag of souvenirs you gave her. Her shoulders fell down a bit as she heaved a deep sigh. “Aish, if only I didn’t have work to do! You went to all those places alone?”
You immediately shook your head as an answer, trying to suppress the smile that’s trying to escape from your lips but failed to do so. Just like that, the thought of going to all those places with Yuta was enough to make your lips curve into a smile.
“What’s that smile, Oh Y/N?” Yubin asked, quite intrigued with your smile as her curiosity grew big. “Yah, who are you with?”
“I actually met a guy in the cafe here on our first day…”
“How come you’re only telling this to me now?!”
“Eonni!”
“Aigoo, go on!”
You took a deep breath before starting to talk about things that your sister’s really itching to know as you can obviously see on her face.
“I didn’t tell you before since I thought he was just a stranger but then we met again at the train station while I was on my way to Osaka…” you said, swallowing an amount of lump formed in your throat. “I was almost getting lost since I couldn’t find my train. There were a lot of people and it just happened that he was the person that I asked for directions.”
“The stranger from the cafe?”
You nodded your head, closing your eyes for a good second. “The stranger from the cafe, yes.”
“What’s his name?”
“His name’s Yuta…” you answered as your thoughts began to spiral once again around him. “He’s Japanese but told me he’s based in Seoul and just here for a vacay too. He’s just so fun to be with, eonni. Like you’ll never run out of stuff to talk about.”
“Well, someone’s interested, I see.”
Yubin has this annoying and teasing look on her face, shooting you weird looks. It caused your blood to rush up on your cheeks.
“And now she’s blushing, ladies and gents!” Yubin giggled. “Tell me, do you like him?”
“Like?! That quick–”
“You told me to be back in three days but you extended it for a day.” Yubin interjected with a questioning look plastered on her face. However, she’s still wearing that annoying playful smirk.
“There were really a lot of places to see! Plus, I really like his company and he’s so much fun to talk to. Not to mention, sensible too!”
And for the moment of truth, Yubin finally said it.
“That’s it, Oh Y/N. You like him. It’s not even a question. It’s a statement. You really do like him.”
You raised a brow. It’s no brainer that Yubin’s there all throughout and your sister, for goodness’ sake. She knows you more than anyone and you just love how she’s memorized every single thing about you that she knows everything–even the things about you that you no have any idea of.
“I can see it in you, Y/N. You’re slowly becoming… you again. God, I need to thank that Yuta when I see him!”
Yubin’s words struck you and kept you up all night, thinking and sorting out what you’ve been feeling lately. You weren’t able to think straight because of how my trip in Osaka and Kyoto overwhelmed me. However, the thought of Yuta won’t just leave your mind. How his intense eyes were always telling you something you couldn’t quite understand yet speaks a language that you could feel in your heart. The way he talks to you like you’ve known each other for years when the two of you just met not long ago.
It had been exactly five days since the two of you met at the cafe and yet after everything you’ve done during the past few days made you feel like you’re close to each other. And just like that, your phone chimed.
“Oh my, he texted!” you panicked for a good moment before reading his text message. He was asking if you were awake and obviously, you still are. How could you even sleep when he’s clouding up your mind.
I can’t sleep. That’s what he said and you felt like the both of you are on the same page. Was he thinking about you too? Thoughts like that start to kick in and you can’t help but to feel tiny butterflies swarming your stomach but then you begin to think how bold of you to assume he could be thinking of you. Not to spoil it but you were just trying to prevent yourself from feeling disappointed if it turns out he’s not actually doing what you thought he was.
Can I call you? And just like that, your phone started ringing and you swore to the heavens, your hands never grew cold that quick. You immediately sat up on the bed and took a quick glance over to your sleeping sister to make sure she really is in deep slumber already.
“Hey.”
“Hey, why are you still awake?”
“Can’t sleep too.”
“Hmm, someone must be thinking of you?” he replied with a small chuckle.
“Eh? How come?”
“A lot of people say that when you can’t sleep, it means someone’s thinking of you.” Yuta explained but the only thing you could focus on was how his bedroom voice sounded so hot and sexy.
“Is that even true?” you asked the moment you came back to your senses. You mentally hit yourself for even thinking such thing.
“Beats me, but who knows?”
“Then someone must be thinking of you too?” you chuckled, lying back down on the bed as you hugged the soft pillow.
“Hmm, maybe. How about you?”
“What about me?”
“What are you thinking?” he asked. It was a question that made you pause for a good minute. You can’t just blurt out that he’s actually the one you have in your mind as of the moment, can you?
“Uhh… just stuff. What about you?”
“You.”
Your heart skipped a beat. You swore, it did. It wasn’t that loud but it was clear for you to hear.
“Sorry, what?”
“Huh? Shit. I mean, I didn’t get what you said.”
A small laugh escaped from your lips. How silly he sounded that he even let out a curse out of purpose.
“Are you okay?” you asked, still finding him quite funny. Did he just confess that he’s thinking about you and was quick enough to take it back?
“Yeah, of course!” he quickly replied, trying to compose himself over the phone. “Just a bit disoriented, I guess? Sorry.”
You could just imagine he’s flashing an apologetic smile right now. You let out a chuckle, finding him cute. Is this what he’s like when he’s nervous?
“Aigoo, Yuta. You’re cute when you’re tense.”
“E-Eh???”
“Now you sound Japanese!”
You heard him heaved a sigh on the line. “Let’s just go to sleep.”
“Yeah, I think we should.”
Yuta chuckled.
“Save your energy, princess. I still have a lot of places to show you.”
Did he just call me…
“Hai, Yuta-kun!” you giggled, teasing him a bit. You earned a laugh from him on the phone. “Good night, then!”
“Good night, Y/N.”
And that’s how you slept with a smile on your face.
Days pass by so quickly and just like that, you’re on your second to the last day of your stay in Japan. For the past few days, you and Yuta were still wandering around Tokyo, having the best of your time.
“What are you thinking?” he asked. He must have caught you zoning out as you take a good moment to capture everything with your eyes. It’s not every day you get to be here in Japan.
“I never thought this trip would be so much for me…” you began to say as you slowly turned your head to look at and give him a smile.
“Because?”
“I mean, I honestly didn’t expect so much from this trip but then it turned out to be a whole lot different,” you answered, still wearing that smile as your eyes met his. Quite unsure whether to do it, you took your shot and reached for his hand as you looked back at him, meeting his gaze. “Thank you. For making this trip worthwhile and exciting for me.”
A smile crossed his face as he looked away. You noticed how his ears slowly turned red, causing you to let out a small giggle. He was too cute, how can you not?
“Wow…” he mouthed as he looked back at you. “It’s an honor.”
“Aigoo, look at you blushing!” you teased.
“Who’s blushing?” he denied, looking at you as he suppressed his smile. “Aren't you? You’re blushing.”
“Yah, you are!” you defended, turning things back to him. “Look at your ears all red!”
“Aish, let’s just go.”
“To where?”
“To Disneyland…” he answered right away, raising a brow at you. “Save the best for last, right?”
His lips curved into a boyish smile as he took you by the hand, pulling you close towards him.
In your two-week stay in Japan and after visiting a lot of places around, you could already say that you’ve completely fallen in love with this country that you couldn’t just wait to go back.
Tokyo Disneyland is as fancy as it sounds. The first thing the both of you did when you got there was to buy Mickey and Minnie Mouse ear headbands. It was all your idea and Yuta has no choice but to just go along.
“I look weird wearing this.”
The both of you stared at his reflection in the mirror after you put the Mickey Mouse headband on him. Seeing it made you giggle in happiness.
“We look cute, don’t you agree?”
You stood with Yuta in front of the full-sized mirror and even snapped a quick photo after purchasing the cute headbands.
The whole day, the both of you were just walking around wearing those cute ear headbands.
“What time is your flight tomorrow?” Yuta suddenly asked as the both of you strolled around the amusement park.
“4:30 in the afternoon,” you replied as you looked at him. “My sister actually wants to meet you. Maybe you could join us at lunch?”
You saw how his shoulders fell in dismay.
“As much as I wanted to but I have an errand to run tomorrow at that time.”
“Oh…”
It suddenly made sense when he told you that this is going to be the last day of their tour. A slight pang of sadness hit you but you tried to suppress it with a smile.
“Sorry, Y/N.”
“Let’s just meet when you arrive in Korea, then?” you told him in a questioning tone.
His face suddenly cheered up once again as he looked up to him with a smile.
“Let’s do that.”
“Ah, by the way. Can we stay until the fireworks? I want to see it!” you pleaded with puppy eyes. As if he could resist you acting all cute like that. After all, even if you hadn’t done it, it was already his plan to stay until the fireworks with you.
“I actually wanted us to stay until the fireworks.” he told you with a warm smile on his face as he looked at you reassuringly.
The both of you spent the whole day roaming around and taking tons of photos to make sure every moment would be remembered. You even tried the churros that are literally shaped as Mickey Mouse!
“Are you tired already?” Yuta asked worriedly, concern filling his eyes as he checked up on you.
Letting a small chuckle, you nodded.
“Kind of but I’m still feeling good.”
Yuta led you to the nearby bench and let you sit for a while to rest your feet after walking around so much.
“Sit here for a while and wait for me.”
Before you could even ask him where’s headed, he started walking away towards somewhere you don’t exactly know. You were left sitting on the bench and as you looked around, there were a lot of families and you easily guessed they were waiting for the fireworks as well.
The sun has already set and the skies have turned a bit dark, causing you to look up to see how clear the skies were.
“Boba?”
Just like that, Yuta was back with two cups of boba milktea in his hands. He handed you one as he took a sip on his cup.
“Arigatou gozaimasu!” you thanked cheerfully, causing Yuta to laugh shyly as he scratched his nape. He just doesn't know how but the truth is, he really finds you adorable whenever you try to speak in his native language. “Also, I want to thank you for keeping me company during my stay here.”
“You don’t have to thank me, though.”
“No, I should,” you insisted. “If it weren’t for you, this trip would’ve meant nothing.”
“Have you found yourself yet?”
Your lips instantly curved into a smile as you looked at him, his gaze meeting yours as a sudden jolt of electricity ran through your whole being. You realized you have been caging your own self on being stuck on the same page that you’re already tired and afraid of trying something new. But then here you are, despite your fears and ghosts, agreeing to go through a new experience. You’ve been vulnerable for so long that you forgot that you can be happy too as long as you do something about it—never letting yourself be swallowed by the negative thought of being sad forever.
“I-I actually did…” you muttered under your breath, hanging your head a bit lower as you fiddled with your fingers. “This trip made me realize that I can be happy on my own once again.”
Yuta gave you a comforting smile.
“That’s so good to hear, Y/N.”
You looked up, meeting his eyes once again.
“This wouldn’t have happened if… if it weren’t for you.”
He let out a small nervous chuckle before breaking eye contact as he looked away. The sky was already dark but you could still see how his ears were starting to turn red.
“To be honest…” he started as he struggled with the words he’s about to say. “You have really caught my attention since day one.”
Your eyes immediately shifted towards him as he looked up at the sky. Your heart began to race crazily inside your chest. He looked back at you, meeting your eyes and stared directly at you. There goes the intense look he’s known to give you.
“Yuta…”
“The two weeks we’ve spent together. Those were the best days I’ve had so far. I never knew going to a lot of places would be that fun until you happened.”
You were left speechless, opening your mouth to utter something only to close it again. There are no words that you could come up with at this moment. You were too stunned to even speak.
“The truth is—“
“O-Oh, the fireworks are starting!” your attention was immediately caught by the fireworks show starting. Holding his hand absentmindedly, you pulled him towards you and walked closely to where you could have a great view of the fireworks display.
Standing side by side, your hand never let go of his as the song Happily Ever After started to play in the background. The virtual fireworks started when the chorus of the song came and you just couldn’t help but drop your jaw in awe.
You know to yourself you were no kid but come on, it’s Disney and the fireworks!
All at once, everything is different. Now that I see you.
You both found yourselves completely absorbed with the show that you failed to notice that your hand was still holding Yuta’s. A smile slowly crept into your face as you intertwined your fingers with his.
Just like how you expected, you watch him turn his head towards your direction from your peripheral vision as you pretend to be engrossed with the show. You could feel your heart racing as he looked at you with those same intense eyes. They have never failed to make you crazy. The beating went so wild the moment he laced his fingers with yours, giving your hand a light squeeze before looking back at the colorful sky.
“It’s beautiful…” you uttered, completely mesmerized by the lights.
“And so are you.”
It was as if it slipped through his tongue. You’d like to believe it did but it actually did not. You slowly turned your head to look at him and caught him already staring at you. A meaningful smile crossed his face as he looked deeply into your eyes.
“I’ve been meaning to tell you something but things just keep on cutting me off…” he started, his tone getting more serious. “I actually like—“
You tipped your toe to reach his height and closed your eyes before giving him a chaste kiss on his lips. Yuta’s eyes turned into a shape of a ball in an instant. You could feel your cheeks instantly heating up the moment you realized what you just did. After pulling away, you shifted your eyes to elsewhere and tried to hide your rosy cheeks.
“I like you too.”
“D-Did you just…”
You flashed him a cheeky smile before slightly nodding your head.
“I think I just did, Nakamoto-san.”
“Yah, I like you even more!”
The fireworks show ended with his arms wrapped around your body from behind as he rested his chin on top of your left shoulder.
Your trip in Japan brought you from being lost to being found. And meeting him is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to you since then.

Who's most likely to carry swan MC like a little bebe?
Realistically, neither, because swans are actually huge birbs and carrying one is,,,, unpractical lmao
Leir would be more likely to hold them in swan form though, while Odile really tries to avoid anything that might be seen as treating the mc like an actual pet/animal; xe is fully aware of everything that goes through the mc's mind and tries xyr best to have the mc feel human.

thinking about SB!Monica getting a glimpse into the "true" (3H) timeline for Fodlan, where she was deemed a necessary sacrifice for achieving El's vision, and how she would take it....
(your choice of which 3H route is the true one she gets to witness, but personally I think anything other than CF would hurt even better lol. seing a timeline where her sacrifice ultimately meant nothing because El didn't even succeed in the end??? ;_; )

hi!! wanted to ask if you have any favorite books, either that you've read recently or of all time. Your prose is insane and I need to broaden my own vocabulary so if you have any book recs, fiction or nonfiction, I'd love to know :')
Hii :D ! ahaha, what a well-timed question; lately I've become the kind of guy who just really wants to talk about what people are reading, or are planning to read, and responding in kind, so thanks for giving me an opportunity to indulge that, haha. What a wicked invention the printing press was!!! (Also--thank you!! I'm glad my prose is to your taste. I'm happy !💕)
If you don't mind, I'll put a cut on this right away, because I know I'm very talkative, but let me put a TLDR above for all the novels/authors I mention here. Disclaimer also that I am kind of a dunce (I think you know this) so I like silly shit a lot of times . please be nice to me adfhbjkdg. :D
(No nonfiction also because I'm a frivolous and unworldly little sprite or something but if you want straight philosophy [which counts] come back and I'll do my Top Ten Epic Platonic Dialogues Compilation for you .)
TLDR: Read any UKLG you get your hands on, Cain by Jose Saramago, or any Saramago (though maybe not Skylight, which is not a good introduction to Saramago), very much enjoyed Sartre's The Age of Reason recently, Shadow & Claw or The Fifth Head of Cerberus by Gene Wolfe. If you feel like it, come off anon and tell me what you like, so I can give more tailored recommendations!!
Now if you're asking for favorites, like just the particular and arbitrary objects of my partiality, that stir my stupid little heart, the true answer is probably UKLG's The Farthest Shore, just because it is very special to me. I can't, of course, in good conscience, recommend the third novel of a six-novel fantasy series to someone (but of course read Le Guin, everyone should be reading Le Guin, it's dire for universal soteriology that we all read Le Guin; You'll probably get told to start with Left Hand of Darkness, and that's pretty solid. I liked The Lathe of Heaven as well. And if you read any Le Guin it doesn't hurt to pick up a copy of the Tao. I love the Tao man.)
Some friendlier recommendations, though:
José Saramago is someone I really consider peerless; There's no way to pick up a Saramago and not know who's written it. Cain is a bit drier, a bit more abrasive (almost accusatory, in that particular way you'll find in a Buddhist parable) and bleak than some other Saramagos, but it's one I like (perhaps for the trite reason that I like bucolic atmospheres and Classical antiquity as a setting) so it's the one I'll put forward.
Uhh, I've also been enjoying Sartre's Roads to Freedom lately, starting with The Age Of Reason. I'm partway through the second novel and umm... despite all the other things you could say about Sartre, lmfao, let it not be said that he is not a serious literary force. Serious is maybe the only word for it. Dire, too. I keep a commonplace book, so usually I take excerpts, but this was the first time in memory that I felt compelled to commit entire pages, ahah (I just took pictures though, fuck copying all that).
If you're itching for esoteric language, Shadow of the Torturer (as usually collected with Claw of the Conciliator in a single omnibus edition titled Shadow & Claw; the first of the give-or-take five volume Urth series) by Gene Wolfe will scratch you BLOODY. If you're particularly fussy, you might be irritated by your compulsion to Google, but I find it really makes the experience when you type in a word and the only results are "what the fuck did Gene Wolfe mean by this?" hahaha; Honestly, though, those kinds of complaints are borne from a lack of immersion, but you'll notice pretty quickly that the verbiage is a pretty crucial vehicle OF the immersion.
It may or may not become a commitment, though, if you like Urth enough to want to read through, so if you want Wolfe without the strings--though less of the exciting vocabulary, which is pretty necessarily constrained to Urth--I'd really highly recommend The Fifth Head of Cerberus (the novella OR the novel, I mean the former is volumized in the latter so just start it and if you feel like stopping then stop, haha). Mr. Terminal E is incredible but I scrape enough time out of my daily life to gush about his crazy literary density so I won't do it again here (you should ask my coworker, lmfao, who one time went "stop, hold on, hold on." because my face started getting really red while I was explaining to him some Wolfean gesture). If you read any Wolfe, and I mean ANY Wolfe, because his permatypes and his manipulations of them are endlessly interesting, feel free to come back and chat with me over it!!!
I guess I have to disclaim that my habit is mostly to pick through an author's corpus over a course of, usually, a couple years, and then sometimes I'll read things that will inform my understanding of the genre conventions or currents that the author is writing in (been enjoying Golden Age sci-fi recently)--it's not really as deliberate of a process as it sounds, but I think if you were to map my habits, that's the landscape of it. This means, though, that my reading is actually pretty narrow in scope, and I am not very well read or very knowledgeable in general (who is, in this economy) but it does mean that of the authors I do like, I can probably find the novel that'll work best for your taste.
If you want to come off anon, or I guess just leave another message, haha, (or if someone else wants to, idgaf, we're all friends here at tumblr user hazeism) describing the things you like or look for in a novel I can probably give you a more relevant recommendation. I've been dosing people up a lot lately tbh, it's like a parlor trick I've been doing; I have a conversation with someone and afterwards they'll have a PDF with a relevant Asimov story in their messages, hahaha. I can't help myself sometimes.
Come back anyway, though, if you read anything I talked about, okay? I want to hear about it 🥺
And alsooo (turning to face the audience) if anyone ever wants to put recs in my inbox (or my dms : ) slow replies though sorry I'm a hermit) I'd be happy to take 'em down. Can't guarantee I'll read them in a timely manner, or that you'll ever find out if/when I do, but it's good for me to leave my comfort zone.
#also not what you asked but a thing that i find always pertinent is the fact that synonyms are a scam#no two words ''mean'' and by mean I mean Convey Meaning Serve Function Perform Their Obligations In Continuity Or Discontinuity etc the sam#thing. if two words meant the same thing they would be the same word and even that's a bit of a trap (though i guess there is allure in the#potential scenario in which you are able to so precisely construct the surrounding matter of a sentence that you can get a word to repeat#its exact sensibility when being reused--usually when you are reusing a word you are manipulating it to throw light into an alternate facet#i think maybe it seems like i have an extensive vocabulary (i can't say if I do or not) because I trot out all manner of words in all manne#of contexts. under that pretense. or maybe I am a douchebag who wants to live in the world of forms who knows#sorry for all my me btw your first mistake though was looking at me and going Yeah I bet he has both a meaningful answer AND the ability to#convey it. like no sorry. you'll have to pick through the charnel field again. one million words curse#anonymous#ask#mine#bet you were waiting for me to tell you to read asimov well no. don't feel compelled to do that. i mean don't let me stop you (at the momen#I need them to live so I won't judge you but dhfkudh) i mean if you're currently in a place where reading is difficult (we'veall been there#then his mission of clarity makes his books sublimely digestible impossibly easy to read they're comfortable novels without being totally#unstimulating andthey can in fact be very stimulating if you give them the room to proliferate in your brain . but the thing about asimov i#the best things I find are Daneel (who is a scam and will ruin your life) and HIS PERMATYPEESS guys I love permatypes lately but it's hard#to get the texture of the Asimovian permatypes (muttering about the continuum from fisher through terens) and really luxuriate in them unle#ss you read one fucking million novels . so if you feel like doing that do it but if you don't. don't.#i've been getting so many asks lately (i mean. three. but before that another three!) and it's ruining my icy and aloof image . because i a#a motormouth. and now I'm going to stop typing!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna be honest its the first time that I'm hearing this whole "characters are minors" thing because they're fictional??? And not only are they fictional they are literal drawing ? I can understand if those look like toddlers that'd be sus but not some young man young-woman looking drawing come on now 💀💀
LMFAOOOO honestly i'm kinda surprised to hear this is the first you've heard of it!!! To me, it feels like the topic pops back up every couple of months whenever a rando wants to start a bunch of shit w/ us again. God forbid you go on tik tok and call Bakugo hot, either... cuz people there will come for your LIFE over that literally LOL.
Anyway, I couldn't agree more. The fact that the characters are literally comparable to adults w/ grown bodies + muscles + abs? Sure, maybe they're 5'6 (lol) but you literally... can't blame people for finding those traits attractive? And esp. since... people hardly ever put them in teenage situations either... so we aren't really talking about kids ever, either.
plus, like you say... THEY AREN'T REAL LOOOOOOOOL so. clown on everyone for getting their panties in a twist like that when it doesn’t even matter.
anyway. it just makes me laugh to think about, cuz i'll always remember how i watched an episode of BNHA w/ my normie, popular in high school best friend... and the first thing she said about Bakugo was that he was cute. LMFAOOOO like, if he looked like a kid, SHE WOULDN'T HAVE SAID THAT!!!
So that's how we know everyone is on some shit about it for no reason.

How would Goku and Mario interact with eachother?
Mmm I think they'd get along quite well... They're both friendly individuals that loves both Adventures and just taking it easy relaxing ☺️. I guess that's probably how'd they'd interact just on some random adventure 🤭.
