Welcome to Mount Phoenix, the metropolis city of the Gods.
The city was created long ago for the children of the divine, who belong neither in the worlds of man or god. A self-sustaining island off the coast of South Korea, near Incheon. The city offers education, employment, shelter and opportunity for demigods who may otherwise find integrating into society difficult for one reason or another. But when ancient gods and their children mix, some unique challenges are bound to pop up.

Episode 1 brings the repressed memories of my teen years 😂. The emphasis on remaining pure remains the same except for this clip. In a true Catholic/Christian education setting, this scene will never happen. The nuns and priests running the school would probably have an apoplectic shock if this happens in real life.
there’s something so delicious about complex relationships, about how a healthy relationship can look completely different in another perspective but work just as well
But honestly, from what I remember… First, you kissed Kat. Then, you kissed Molly. Then, you bagged Jean. And then… And then what? You kissed Army. Holy… I kissed Army?
There's this sort of weird obsession coming from Todd. I think obsession is the wrong word but this man isn't doing things for his own power. It seems he is giving Black the power.. Black just doesn't want it. His dreams and goals are Black's dreams and goals. He's doing everything so that Black's ideals will come true.
I don't know how much they'll divulge between Todd and Black in the last episode but it's something to ponder on.. The level of.. Fondness? Love? Care? Todd has for Black.
Like he said, their lives has taken a different route and he's constantly pulling Black back into his world.. Desperately at that.
At one point, in EP 11 it almost feels like.. If Todd can't have Black with him, beside him.. He'd rather have him dead. It's like if Black leaves him, there isn't any point to what he's doing and so he'd rather kill him.. I know this is getting towards severe obsession but I can't remove that factor from Todd.
I even suspect he put Black in a coma so he can follow through his plans and give Black what he dreams of in Todd's own fucked up way; Get White and the gang to put Tawi down, step in and be in power and "surprise" Black when he gets out of the coma, showing Black the world he always wanted.
- Run away? he is not the type of man who would do such a thing. when he wakes up the first thing he'll do is seek revenge. He must want to see the one who put him in that situation.
