sonny's scars

being  a  hunter,  you  never  leave  anything  without  a  scratch  and  sometimes,  they  are  permanent.  there  are  a  few  that  she  still  has  with  her.  mainly  because  well...  sonny  normally  does  hunts  alone.  beneath  one  of  her  bird  tattoos,  sonny  has  covered  her  vampire  bite  scar  from  taking  down  a  nest.  the  vampire  bit  rather  deep  from  when  she  tried  to  block  them  from  getting  closer  than  they  already  were.

on  the  outter  side  her  left  thigh,  she  has  a  scar  from  when  she  went  after  a  shifter.  taking  her  form  and  almost  stabbing  her  in  the  leg.  it  cut  deep,  leaving  the  faintest  of  scars. 

now  she  has  a  few  small  ones  here  and  there.  some  have  faded,  but  not  everyone  has  an  angel  to  heal  them.  they  all  came  from  different  hunts.  however,  the  one  scar  that  stands  out  the  most  is  above  her  antiposession  tattoo,  she  has  above  her  hip  line.  one  of  her  darkest  and  biggest  scar  that  came  about  when  she  was  possessed.  the  demon  who  possessed  her  ran  a  muck.  causing  chaos  to  the  point  that  other  hunters  who  tried  to  help  her  had  to  physically  take  her  down.  while  a  few  attempted  to  exorcise  and  being  tossed  around,  the  demon  used  its  power  to  drag  a  hunter  towards  her  to  stab  her.  right  in  that  very�� spot.  as  if  it  was  some  sick  game  to  force  sonny's  friends  to  hurt  her  while  she  no  one  could  do  anything  about  it.  not  even  sonny.  eventually,  the  demon  was  exorcised  at  the  risk  of  sonny  needing  to  be  rushed  to  the  hospital.  what  pains  sonny  of  this  memory  is  the  fact  she  was  helpless.  everyone  who  tried  to  save  her  felt  helpless.  the  demon  forced  her  friends  to  hurt  her.  and  the  guilt  that  came  after?  no  one  could  look  her  in  the  eye.  especially  the  one  who  was  forced  into  stabbing  her.  it's  a  time  when  she  couldn't  protect  them.  and  she  hates  it. all that demon wanted was chaos.

hae  was  overwhelmed  in  the  crowd,  but  she  was  desperate.  pushing  through  until  she  eventually  got  to  the  front.  spotting  the  rockstar  that  she  has  never  met  in  her  life.  her  visions  were  coming  fast  and  as  if  in  a  flash,  she  cried  out,  "look  out!"  without  hesitation,  she  pushed  the  star  out  of  the  way  only  for  her  to  be  stapped  by  the  shifter  that  would  appear  in  her  vision. 

with  the  shifter  being  upset,  they  quickly  vanished  as  she  laid  there  while  the  crowd  screamed  in  a  panic  and  ran  all  over  the  place  while  the  security  tried  to  usher  jace  away  from  the  scene  to  protect  him from further threats.

Her name was Samiya and she was brutally stabbed in the neck and chest before she was taken to a New York hospital with her sister Sanyia (who had been stabbed in the arm), where she did not survive her injuries from her neck and chest. These sisters were just at a store, and this predator FOLLOWED them after he was rejected and attacked them. He waited for them -and he's still not caught. This is just absolutely horrifying.

Misogyny fuels violence against women -and this very clear epidemic is killing young girls and women.

I cannot imagine the degree of entitlement you think you have to anyone's time and bodies- that anyone could hold that much disdain for rejection, and is okay with exerting power, control, and violence upon another person because YOUR ego is bruised. Fuck toxic masculinity and dismantle the patriarchy until it burns to the ground because I'm so sick of seeing this.

I wish all the best to the family and loved ones of Samiya. This young teenager should still be here. And I hope the man who did this gets apprehended and faces endless misery and misfortune in his lifetime.

Damian didn't mean to. But looking at the horror on Batman's face, he also knows it doesn't matter.

Someone had managed to sneak up on him, immediately after a fight.

Damian, exhausted and wounded and ever so slightly drugged by fear toxin, reacted.

He'd spun around and run his katana through the attacker-but it wasn't an attacker. It was a civilian, who was staring down at the sword in his chest with a stunned expression.

The civilian looked up, blue eyes meeting Damian's through the mask.

"I was just..." The man trails off, dropping the first-aid kid he'd been carrying.

Damian knows his time as Robin is over.

Danny, on the other hand, can already feel his healing factor trying to kick in, and just needs to figure out how to convince Robin to remove the Katana so it can work without letting Batman know he's a meta.
