#stalia kisses are obscene
Text
Stiles is an enthusiastic kisser...
This is just audio. It's not a broken video. Headphones recommended. I know I posted about THIS last night, but like...I feel like people need to hear it with their own ears to really know what I'm saying.

12 for carley, 17 for grills, 9 for jabby, 4 for stalia
carley (to thank them)
cody had had a god awful day at work.
it had been one of those hellish days that made him forget why he’d chosen his career path at all. by the time he’d gotten home, rory was already long asleep. marley, on the other hand, had been waiting up for him. he was beyond emotionally drained, but the sight of her lifted his spirits as it always did. he was certain that she could see the exhaustion written all over his face. she said nothing as she led him to their bed, curled up beside him, and waited for him to talk.
before marley, cody often spent the nights after hard shifts stewing in his own thoughts. now she never lets him get away with that. she always ensures that he gets all of his thoughts and feelings out there rather than letting them build up internally. marley waits patiently until he begins to vent, the words pouring out of him easily.
once he’s done, she snuggles closer to him and wraps an arm around his chest. cody reflexively leans down to kiss her slowly and gently.
once they break apart, she looks up at him. “what was that for?”
“for….” he’s not quite sure how to put it. “for always looking out for me. for letting me rant when i have a terrible day. it helps a lot. thank you, marls.”
she smiles softly at him. “you do the same for me.”
cody can’t resist smiling back. “that’s what i’m here for.”
grills (to stop them from rambling)
“that went okay, right?” willow wasn’t as good at feigning confidence as she’d like to be. they’re on the way back from his family’s new years gathering and she’s attempting to process the entire evening in an hour or less, in true willow fashion. it’s as if she’s compelled to take stock immediately. forget ringing in the new year; it’s more important to willow that she overthink.
“i mean, i think it did. i don’t see why it wouldn’t have been okay. i think i talked to everyone? i mean, don’t laugh at me but you have so many brothers that i think i was starting to mix them up.” her sheepish confession gets a laugh out of him, even if she’d specifically told him not to. willow can’t resist giggling herself before she continues. there’s a chance that she’s a tiny bit buzzed. “but your mom was really nice! and seemed interested in work which is both good and bad, because it gives me lots to talk about but also, oh my gosh, i ramble. i have so much to say!”
she hardly even notices as grayson parks the car right in front of her building, so lost in thought is she. “so i might have gone on for a little longer than necessary but she didn’t seem annoyed, so that’s good right? louis and addie were interested in all the science stuff. i think, anyways. that helped. i didn’t talk to your dad as much but -”
willow doesn’t even register that he’d leaned across the seats until he catches her lips in a kiss. once she realizes, it’s surprisingly easy for her to set her mind at ease and respond instinctively. she likes that about him; he calms her without even trying.
when he pulls away, there’s a soft smile on his face. “you were great,” he says confidently. “they loved you.”
willow returns the smile before biting her lip. “are you sure?”
“positive.”
jabby (on the forehead)
“are you sure you’re okay?” she’s asked the same question about a million times already, but she can’t help it. abby always worried about him in games before, but now? her nerves are about a hundred times worse.
it would be easier if she could at least get a better look at his face. when he’d skated away from the fight with his nose bloody, she’d immediately assumed it was broken. even if the trainers assured her that that wasn’t the case, she wanted to look for herself. the fact that he was still on his skates and thus even taller than her than he usually was already didn’t help, as abby had to stand on her tip-toes to look.
“i promise i feel fine,” jax insists. “i have to get back out there.” abby sighs, then nods. she’d had only a couple of minutes to sneak down and take a look at him during the intermission. she figures that he can still see the worry on her face, because he softens. “i’m not even bleeding anymore, see? it’s all good.” she appreciates the encouragement and nods again.
“yeah, yeah, i know,” she acquiesces just as she hears his teammates start to emerge from the dressing room. “you should go.”
he has to lean down just to kiss her forehead. “i’ll see you soon.”
“be careful out there or so help me god, whitley,” she replies in a tone that’s jokingly threatening, though she can’t resist smiling softly at him as he turns to head back out onto the ice.
stalia (against a wall)
stella hawthorne is obscenely good-looking. this is a fact, not an opinion.
of course, tal is biased, but she’ll never accept that. she’d ignore anyone who tried to disagree. with that said, she’d also be a teensy tiny bit jealous of anyone who agreed. she had no claim on stella whatsoever and didn’t plan to - relationships were too much trouble - but she also hated when she spotted anyone else eyeing stella from across the room. occasionally it made her a little territorial for reasons she couldn’t quite explain.
stella didn’t seem to be complaining, so tal never questioned it. she followed her instincts each time they told her to make herself known whenever another person showed interest in the brunette. the party they were at was packed, so naturally tal created a barrier between stella and everyone looking her way. she took the opportunity to corner stella near the wall.
“you know what would be more fun than this?” tal asks lightly, keeping the jealousy out of her voice. “heading back to mine.”
“that’s not such a bad idea,” stella agrees with a mischievous grin. tal smirks in response before noticing eyes on stella in the periphery of her vision. without a second thought, she pushes stella against the wall behind a little more roughly than necessary and kisses her deeply.
“as soon as possible, i think,” she breathes. she’s a little too enthusiastic when stella immediately nods back.
“let’s go now.”
without hesitating, tal grabs her hand and all but drags her out of the room.
