I love Scarlet Hollow, it’s a great visual novel that has been coming out chapter by chapter as it gets developed. If you like horror, mystery, great art, story and music you will love it too! There was a fanart contest on their discord server and I made this false Romance cover of my Character (Strong built / Book smart) with Wayne, the mysterious veiled character of our dreams... I didn’t win the contest but still had so much fun drawing this.

Also a small animation I made inspired by some other conversation on the discord.

Pet Shop of Horrors: Tokyo.

It's a sister sequel to the Orginal Pet Shop of Horrors and I love BOTH of them a great read for animal lovers, and lovers of SHOCKING CONSQUENCES if you don't follow the rules. Not very gorey, but the concepts are often rather intense and dark and analytical of the human psyche. And animal facts too.

It touches on random strange subjects like loneliness, infertility, extinction, cancer, immigration, the concept of living with one foot two different heritages and not being accepted fully by either, sexuality, domestic violence, loss, the grieving process, the damage mind kind does to the environment, disease, Aging, Isolation, There's even an chapter that addresses the end of WWII with fucking HITLER and then a Chapter about the Avian flu with such strong Covid parallels that I almost got psychic damage in PUBLIC.

Count D was my first introduction to the concept of 'Casual Androgyny/What I identify is my business not YOURS' as well as the concept of being trans-which is a subject that does come up a few times in the series and is never really played as a joke-most of them being close friends to the Count himself specifically in the Tokyo edition (they even go to a queer bar frequently)

There's also an anime; I haven't watched it cause uh. Well, im Just not good at WATCHING stuff.

Honestly, 20,000 out of 10- FULL RECOMMEND if you want to get into a horror manga that is more psychological and topical than it is horribly bloody and gorey.

Count D is a genderfluid ICON and a FASHION icon.

Ich hab gerade die neuste spatort audiopsie gehört und da wurde gesagt, dass du die Theorie hast, dass Vladi Daniel zwischenzeitlich nicht mehr auf Instagram gefolgt ist damit er sich besser in seine Rolle im neuen Teil reinversetzten kann. Und ich muss echt sagen, dass is so eine unfassbar gute, wie ich finde wahrscheinliche Theorie, dass ich mir echt gewünscht hätte, da selbst drauf gekommen zu sein. ;-))))

ohhh, ich hab die Folge selbst noch gar nicht gehört, ich hoffe Laura hat nicht verschwiegen, dass wir beide unabhängig voneinander diese Idee hatten?

aber ja, ich fand es einfach so seltsam, als Vladi Daniel nicht mehr gefolgt ist, weil ich dachte so... selbst wenn man sich ultra streitet, welchen Sinn macht es, jemandem dann gleich auf Insta zu entfolgen, während man gleichzeitig fast jeden Tag zusammen arbeiten muss... also idk, ein gewisses Drama-Queen-Level trau ich ihnen zwar beiden zu, aber irgendwie fand ich es einfach super fishy... und mauszurutschen und jemandem ausversehen zu entfolgen — erscheint mir auch extrem unwahrscheinlich. Und dann dachte ich: Hey! was wenn es good old Method Acting ist? 👀 es würde extrem viel Sinn ergeben und dem ganzen einen so viel besseren Spin geben als alle anderen Optionen... und dann hab ich quasi drauf gewartet, dass Vladi Daniel nach Ende der Dreharbeiten wieder folgt, um meine Theorie zu bestätigen — und das ist dann sogar am Montag in der letzten halben Drehwoche schon passiert und tja, nachdem sie sich auch in den Interviews blendend zu verstehen schienen (i know sie sind Schauspieler)... würde ich sagen, es ist zumindest doch sehr wahrscheinlich und es wäre zudem eine wirklich schöne Erklärung, weil es so viel liebevolles Commitment beweisen würde 🥲

Just watched a romcom with the trope "person A and person B work together to get person A to person C, romantically, but person A and person B are the ones actually spending time together so they're the ones who fall in love" and it reminded me that that's a trope, that's THE trope, it's whoever the screen time is given to. Nobody is allowed to rip on me about this-but Hoodude was my favorite from the og Monster High Series. Like the maincast, cute sure whatever-give me the clumsy rag doll goofball. I always like the concept of the 'sentient voodoo doll' in media because they always do interesting takes on how that would actually work.

(despite my brain always trying to autocorrect that Voodoo dolls aren't an actual thing-the belief in them is old Hollywood schlock and the more accurate name and thing they're trying to reference is called a Poppet which is related to European Witchcraft, though the culture and practice of effigies used to manipulate or have influence over people exist worldwide.)

I tried to make him look a little more....burlapy. I also love his little sort of puppy dog like nose. Like a teddy bear nose pulled off to make his snoot.

so i watched love o2o the movie today and it was adorbs. i enjoyed the leads much more than the series leads, but i liked how the series had more time for the friends to be a little more developed
