hi moostie tell me the last song you listened to
Hiiii hunbun 🥰🥰
Truthfully the last song i listened to was Sour Candy by BlackPink because I’m still fixated on my remix project for it. Which might actually happen now that i have the PC.
The last song I listened to intentionally for enjoyment is Wonderland by AleXa which I play at least twice a day and know by heart. Its literally one of my top favorite songs (all of her songs are okay they’re so good I’m obsessed with her)

Do you have any headcanons for each of the three marvels?
Oh boy oh BOY do I have headcanons. (Sorry for the late response haha)
Carol:
Her skin is pale and has very noticeable blue veins
She is willing to do anything for the people she cares about, no matter how dangerous
Doesn't remember a lot of Earth, but she does get homesick for Hala, which makes her annoyed.
Since she has the most memories of Hala, she very easily gets annoyed at shittier planets - eg, she has problems with the train networks in America.
Sleeping is rough when you have energy flooding through your veins so she has a bedtime routine of putting all her energy into batteries and solar panels, taking a cold shower, and then passing out for 48 hours.
HATES the cold. She'll go to cold places, sure, but she'll be really fucking angry about it.
Carries sugary and instant energy food around with her in case she looses her energy. She has to eat a fuckload of food after she goes binary.
Got a simplified suit after her powers kept messing up the electrics in her old one.
Loves Goose. Goose is love, Goose is life. Proud cat mom.
Monica:
She can 'see' light and different types of energy, and sometimes gets headaches. She uses sunglasses whenever it gets overwhelming.
Stops using doorways since she can just phase through stuff and tends to scare the shit out of people when she pops out of walls
She can tell exactly when her food has finished cooking without needing to be in the room because she can see energy through walls.
She can see how cold or warm people are, which usually leads to her ominously handing blankets/cold water to her friends. It's very nice but unnerving.
Kept her 70's outfit from Wandavision. Casual bulletproof clothing is a lifesaver.
She doesn't like micro waves because of the Westview incident. This includes actual cooking microwaves.
Very good memory!
Canonically an astronaut - she's incredibly smart. Carol and Kamala will sometimes rant on their group chat about a tech problem they're having and Monica will point out very obvious solutions in the funniest way possible.
Enjoys the night time. She stays up really late, enjoying seeing the moon and stars.
Kamala:
She's the type of person to pack a million clothes for a week-long trip.
She's the first Muslim to pray on another planet but she can't tell anyone and it irritates her so badly because she could get a Guinness World Record, but she can't because of her secret identity.
Learns to use the space Internet so she can read space fanfiction She has no idea what they're about but she gets a lot of fic ideas from them.
Has 10 alts on Twitter, runs 8 Tumblr blogs and has 6 ao3 accounts.
Her powers can make anything she wants. The weirdest thing she's ever made was a 12-seater baby pram when there was a fire at the local hospital.
Doesn't stan any kpop groups but gets involved with drama for fun.
Has a LOT of opinions about random stuff.
Pinterest girlie <3
Uses her powers for the most random stuff. Carrying shopping. Opening the dishwasher. Cleaning the living room. She's forbidden from clearing the table with her powers after she broke a plate.
She's the type of person to start praying for someone, then feels bad about not praying for other people and ends up praying for the entire planet.
Carol was a pilot and Monica is an astronaut so she ends up being the only Marvel to get sick on rollarcoasters.

Apo and Colorism-a rant
So, I am on Twitter, but I'm not in BL/KPop stan twitter, so I didn't see a lot of this, but I saw a couple of BL tiktokers speak about it and it makes me mad and I want to rant about it. I also brought examples. The gist I was hearing is that a lot of garbage people on Twitter were making negative comments about Apo's darker complexion. I'm well aware that colorism exists everywhere, but I know that it is also especially prevalent in Asia as a whole. Thinking about this and feeling so sad that anyone would even think of being mean to sweet gorgeous bean, Apo...well it made me mad, but it also made me realize that most of my fave pics of him have been candid. So then came a Google rabbit hole and 2 days of research, and y'all, I think the evidence is clear. I'm gonna try and give this some flow, but it may not work out that way.
I'm gonna start with magazine covers, because from what I saw they are the most frequent culprits of this type of photo editing. Like this is clearly not the Apo we know and love. The Men's Health is from 2015, but the other two are fairly recent.
Tumblr media
Vogue Thailand released their cover and interior photos very recently. On the cover Apo, is clearly much paler than in the inside photo. Honestly, even Mile looks much paler on the cover vs. the inside photo.
Tumblr media
I also have this comparison, which is the Vogue Thailand cover and an inside shot from Unique magazine. Since it's a similar-ish pose with Mile's hand partially in front of Apo's face. There is the difference between studio light vs natural light, but I feel like you can definitely see the difference. Also consider that Apo in the Vogue cover is lit to cause deeper shadows around his jaw, were he evenly lit he would look even paler.
Tumblr media
We also have these covers from Kazz magazine, which are especially odd to me, because both Apo and Mile are made paler on their shared cover, which is a bit of an odd choice. this is also the cover that made me realize that Apo is edited paler more often when he's in a photo with Mile, which just gives me some weird vibes.
Tumblr media
Their interior shots are a mixed bag, based on what Kazz posted on Instagram.
Tumblr media
Kazz also posted a video from the shoot, which I think helps some to put things into context, because most people's complexion will change depending on the season and sun exposure. Just because a cover is released in October, those pictures could have been taken in June, etc. But we do have live footage of the day of the shoot.
But I like I said, I did notice a lot of more complexion editing on covers vs interior photos, but there was one magazine that just said nope, all of them will be edited so pale...and that was Madan. Seriously, that pastel should bring out Apo's warm complexion, but he's as pale as Apo here.
Tumblr media
the next magazine I have is Posh, which is kind of a mix. The cover and some of the inside shots are black and white, so that does change how easily you can see complexion differences, and I don't think it egregious here in the black and white photos. However, the color photo is lit to make Apo's face as pale as possible, and then possibly edited further. Look at the difference between his face and his arm...it's massive.
Tumblr media
Here is a studio pic, though candid that I pulled from Apo's Instagram, and I just took down all the color saturation. You can still tell that Apo has a darker complexion that Mile.
Tumblr media
So now let's talk about some magazines that did a little better. We have Unique, which is guilty of paling Apo down on the cover, but the interior photos are MUCH better.
Tumblr media
And the one of the best that I found was Mangu. Now these are shot outside on location, meaning that you're not blowing out everyone with studio lighting, but photo shop still exists and they could have easily done more tweaking to his complexion.
Tumblr media
Best magazine shoot is L'Officiel. They really captured the gorgeous warmth of Apo's skin here. Like just *chef's kiss*.
Tumblr media
Now, magazine are bad, but advertisements were so much worse. Here's just a couple pulled from Apo's Instagram, I've matched them with various candid photos from his Instagram as well, to show the difference. It does not escape me that two of these examples are a for a beauty brand/product. This first set is done with studio shots for comparison, since lighting will affect the overall color/tone accuracy of a picture.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then we have a comparison between ad and exterior candid photo, in good daytime light, so pretty accurate as far as color/tone accuracy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now...I am American, and to be honest the majority of my experience with colorism comes from conversations specifically around and with black women, so there's going to be differences. I did try to find a shot/ad/magazine that was specifically American (or even western-media) based, but the best I found was an interview with Teen Vogue, which used pics that were provided by BeOnCloud, they didn't take any of their own photos. But they also did not edit them in a way that altered Mile's or Apo's skin tone.
Tumblr media
I just want to end this to say, that I love Apo, I think he's adorable and beautiful and he seems very kind. It hurts my heart to see him given any negative feedback that's based around his darker complexion. So, if you see this shit, especially in local to you media, whether it's Apo or anyone else, call it out. Question it, be vocal about it. Because these 'creative decisions' are going to keep being made.
So....

🎶✨when u get this u have to put 5 songs u actually listen to, and publish. then, send this ask/tag 10 of your favorite followers (non-negotiable, positivity is cool) ✨🎶
tagged again, this time by @morrigan-sims!! thank you I love talking more about my terrible horrible musical tastes... also kpop
Lucifer by SHINee (HER WHISPER IS THE LUCIFER) - this is my favorite song ever I’m not exaggerating. Don’t listen to whatever Spotify or my last.fm say, because I go back to release day with this bitch. I’ve been in the trenches with Lucifer. Bonus, it was released July 19 2010 so it was happy belated birthday to me that year. Bonus 2, you can also enjoy this together with Ring Ding Dong for Kit’s Ultimate Kpop Joy.
Cyberpunk by Ateez (my favorite thing in the song is Seonghwa tbh) - I’m glad Ateez is keeping alive the time-honored tradition of boys sadly hip thrusting about how terribly sad they are. The world needs more of it. Dance your sad little hearts out gentlemen.
Navillera by WJSN (Pass through the world with my wings, you can call me “oh my Queen”) - I hated this the first time I saw it and then idk I guess the witchy-vampire-wlw vibes won out in the end, anyway stan Cosmic Girls for clear skin. I will not elaborate further.
Daughter of the Sea (Beware, beware the daughter of the sea... Beware, beware of me) - God I hate Blizzard so much, Jaina is so cool. The song is also on my Fathomless warlock’s playlist because of course it is. I don’t even play WoW but I watch every cinematic because if my husband is going to listen to me talk Sims and Animal Crossing and Dragon Age, it’s only fair. The song is a banger, Jaina is super freaking cool and I love her.
Broken Crown by Mumford & Sons (so hold my hand, consign me not to darkness) - the first time I heard this song was in someone’s Game of Thrones MV right after the Red Wedding. Beautiful song using biblical references that is instead, in my mind, about either a Grey Warden facing down the Blight (please god ask me about my Tabris I dare you), or a vampire princeling struggling with undeath.... Or Robb Stark.
Bonus Song, because I was thinking about my Dragon Age playlists: Dark Doo Wop by MS MR, the original Handers song imo (though I am more of a Fenhawke girlie and it could really fit with any of them by the end). This world is gonna burn burn burn burn, as long as we’re going down, baby you should stick around!!!!!!
More tags to hand out, feel free to ignore if you: @lazarish @musicalplumbob @rebelangelsims @floresibs @hazely-sims @xiapxls @nizaberry @disasterbri @thatsimslove @gothoffspring .... and bonus tag: anyone who sees this and wants to do it, I tag you.

BL Elitists & Snobbery in Fandom
Disclaimer: My favorite BLs of all time err on the "mature" side, harassing actors is bad, fanservice can be bad, shipping can be toxic, and I too am critical of certain aspects of fandom. Nobody's perfect but let's all try to at least be nice and better than we were yesterday.
Since the premiere of KinnPorsche, there's been an uptick in elitism in the BL fandom. Fans of shows such as KinnPorsche, Bad Buddy, Semantic Error, and other BLs with "mature" themes, BLs produced in East Asia, and/or BLs which cast seasoned actors, increasingly bad-mouth fans of shows like Cutie Pie and others which either exist as pure fluff or take a more trope-y approach to BL storytelling. As a watcher of your ITSAYs and Tonhon Chonlatee's alike, it's a strange sight.
I was already burnt out by all the pandering straights who only enjoy the finest of Taiwanese and Korean BLs and scold the fan service-laden Thai BLs. But it has reached a new level that's, quite frankly, exhausting. It's like, we get it, you want to see the gritty realism of a gay relationship in modern East Asia, you want the glossy production and the seasoned actors in Japan--and the "no-nonsense anti-shipping/fan service" culture in Korean fandoms.... At least that's what you say. But all I see is a need to feel superior and a clear xenophobia that just goes unaddressed. Let's talk about this in parts.
1. Stanning a "mature" BL doesn't make you a better person. Also, saying you have superior taste for stanning ITSAY and Gameboys because "it's LGBT, not BL" is not helpful to anyone.
Let's start here. I will die on the hill that BL is part of LGBT media. I get that people traditionally associate the former with fantastical depictions of gay relationships but I posit this: if Twilight can be classified as a heterosexual romance, with all its blatantly unrealistic and even toxic elements, why can't Dark Blue Kiss or Fish Upon the Sky be LGBT romances? Why must all gay media be about the struggle of being gay? Why can't LGBT-identifying people have a break from the overwhelmingly rough reality we face? It's like saying POC should be limited to films about facing structural racism and borderline modern-day caste systems. As if we can't enjoy an escape from reality like Aladdin or Black Panther or whatever it is that allows us to have all the things western white people have in their media. For some of us, BLs and GLs, however unrealistic they can get, is a fantasy we enjoy. Let those who want it, have it.
2. Trashing Thai BLs just seems like xenophobia at best and color/racial superiority complexes at worst.
Honestly, when people brag about how "Korea is coming for the BL industry" and how superior Korean BLs are, despite how homophobic, boring, and straight up scarce many Korean BLs and BL actors are, it gives "Kpop rappers are better than American rappers" vibes. Like, I have seen people PRAISE Korean and Japanese live-action BLs as superior to anything out of Thailand (and claim ITSAY to be an exception--of course) when the reality of it is is that Thailand is just far more prolific and has been in the live-action game since day 1. Now, I'm not gonna lie, Korea has it's foot on the Yaoi manhwa genre's neck, but that hasn't translated very well into live-action. Moreover, when asked why they prefer Korean BLs overall, these stans can never give a rational answer. But common themes I've noticed include how attracted they are to the MCs, how ~realistic they are (AN: they're not, see: Color Rush, Cherry Blossoms After Winter, and other big names out of Korea), or just how they're "refreshing" as compared with Thai BLs because they're ~above fan service and things like that.
But increasingly, I'm finding that the biggest KBL stans are also kpop stans who just prefer the Korean idol look where everybody is limited to some variation of pale skin, small faces, and eurocentric features. And before anyone tries to come for me, just look at kpop idols, watch documentaries about the toxic single beauty standard and culture, or just talk to your Korean friends (like I do!) The beauty standard is highly specific and everyone must conform to it lest they be ostracized for being "too dark", "looking SEA" (which, why is this an insult?), or "looking poor/old". I'm not saying this to demonize anybody's type, but it feels strange (again, borderline xenophobic) when people who have definitely fetishized that standard reject excellent media on the basis of it. These same people seem to exclusively enjoy BLs from Northeast Asia and/or the white west and wouldn't even give Thai, Filipino, or Black LGBT stories a chance. Again, to each their own but it's the false sense of superiority for me.
As for criticizing the fan service culture, these same fans try to justify their clearly baseless attacks on non-East Asian/white media by saying that, for example, the Thai industry is toxic. But the reality is, Japanese and Korean media practically invented OTT gay fanservice between the straights. Just look at the way kpop and jpop idols are with each other. And while it isn't as OTT with BL actors as it is with the idols, that's likely largely because of how much of a niche BL is in those places compared to the pop idols. There's also something to be said for the fact that LGBTQ+ people, while definitely still discriminated against, are much more visible in places like Thailand. I may be going out on a limb here but I propose that if live-action BLs were as popular in Korea and Japan as they are in Thailand, we'd see a hell of a lot more OTT fan service. And with the recent success of Semantic Error, I can definitely see it happening. You already see it with Taiwanese BLs (MaxHao (however real or not real), anyone?)
3. Letting us know that you're ~not like the other girls, and "don't fetishize gay relationships" is not only blatantly false but also mischaracterizes a lot of the situation.
Now the elephant in the room are those who still enjoy Thai BLs but are so loud about preferring the 1000 Stars' and Bad Buddy's because "there's no seme-uke dynamic and I like that because it makes the characters more real" or "the actors are really good friends behind the scenes and I stan the friendship, not the possible romantic relationship" or, even worse, the "it's none of my business what the actors do outside of the show and I don't ship real people, so I'm better than everyone else who does because that shows my allyship and how I don't even see sexuality." It's giving ACAB, BLM, yet screaming over Black voices vibes.
Now, I never want to trash true allies and I totally agree that it's important not to blur fiction and reality and that we need at least some realistic depictions of gay relationships. But when the hets start going on and on about it whilst at the same time only enjoying BL like it's a dirty secret and assuming actors are straight (but criticizing any notion that an actor may not be), and going on about how everything is fan service so they're just ~above it all anyway...it gives overcompensating for what you know to probably be a fetish within yourself. It gives "I enjoy looking at two hot guys I wish I could fuck go at it and don't want to stop, so I'll pretend like I'm down for the cause, when in reality, I am very much just like the other girls" (girls used gender-neutrally here lol). I don't know, it just seems so fake to me.
And while I'm not saying I prefer delusional, toxic, shippers, there's something to be said for not pretending to be better when, in fact, you aren't. Why can't you consume BL the same way you consume straight romances (or even GLs)? Why does it have to be some activist political thing when you do it? Like, obviously don't fetishize MLM relationships but, speaking as a minority in many senses of the word, the way to normalize non-traditional relationships isn't to constantly make a big deal out of how you think they should operate in media when the reality is, as long as no one is being harmed, diverse representation is the easiest and best way to present any group of individuals. Like, not all Asians know martial arts and are super smart, not all Black people are artistically and athletically gifted, not all white people are wealthy and powerful. Likewise, not all LGBTQ+ people live the same lifestyle. Some are heteronormative. Some are femme in femme/femme relationships. Some have a lot of sex, some don't have sex at all. Why can't we show all these perspectives and allow people to like what they like, again, and I stress, as long as no one is being harmed?
Like, yes, we should definitely not encourage delusional waanjais who give Gulf porn art of him and Mew, but, there's a happy medium where we can do away with harmful representations and actions toward marginalized groups but also celebrate their diversity and people's love of their stories. I just don't see why elitists have to act like they're above everyone else when they are really all in the same boat.
That said, I will still (playfully, of course) roast anyone who actually enjoys boring ass Check Out, because that shit is just horrible lmao. But the difference here is roasting someone's taste in media vs. acting like you're doing the community a favor by uplifting strong masc/masc, non-heteronormative, non fs-driven relationships. Like what you like, roast what you want to roast, just don't be pretentious about it as if you're taking some sort of political stance on it.
I understand I too may fall victim to shaming certain behaviors, but the key is in noticing you're doing it and reeling yourself in. Life is about happy mediums, not extremes.
Anyway, that's just my take.

SCREAMING TIME!!! This is an in-depth review of Phantom so don't read ahead if you don't want spoilers.
Okay, I have been slapped, SLAPPED I tell you. Yangyang ATE this, the charisma was just off the charts. His rap, his expressions, his tone, everything. Ten wasn't lying when he said Yangyang's personality is a little dark and I can see Yangyang literally transforming into this concept. Next, Xiaojun. Xiaojun in the skirt?? Fucking royal. Also, boy has been taking lessons from literally all the contemporary-influenced SM dancers because he's got so much more confident?? His gestures and lines are so much more flexible and elegant and literally blends in with Ten in some choreo scenes. Speaking of Ten, serving abs and being the only one flashing skin is such a Ten move, I guess he wanted to show off every last bit of work he poured in for Birthday. But Hendery. Hendery??? He fucking what??? He slapped me so hard in this, sometimes I don't find him believable but he really pulled out the acting chops and his rap alongside that had me drooling, he was so good. Finally, Kun and Winwin didn't wow me, but to be fair it was clear that this era they have not been drawn out as a focus which I think is a damn shame. They didn't get as many lines which is honestly a crime by this point, especially for Winwin because in many groups the visual doesn't get as many lines but makes up for it in screen time or a dance break, but Winwin had neither and I'm honestly thinking it's because of his schedules in China. He wasn't even there for the countdown live to release but at least he was able to dial in.
Getting down into the real nerdy details, having delved deeper into WayV I'm picking up something interesting. Other NCT units seems to get all the revolutionary things like insane choreo combos, musical concepts, video shooting techniques etc, while WayV seems to only get that once it's been tested elsewhere. I love WayV's music but the reason I prefer it over other NCT units is actually because it sounds closer to EXO-era music to me. It's more melodic and less "noise" which is just a personal preference, but I could see it sounding less modern to 4th gen stans who are used to more heavy noise music. It's also less experimental which could be both good and bad depending on your preference. I cannot listen to Cherry Bomb at all but I can't dent that it was revolutionary. C-pop or mando-pop does tend to carry a slight more old-fashioned sound that's a few years behind kpop and I think that comes across in WayV's repertoire since they do have a focus on the Chinese market. All of that probably sounds a little negative but it isn't at all, I promise, I'm building up to some good stuff.
So Phantom in this whole context, underneath the very 4th gen video filming techniques, actually sounds much more like SHINee's music to me than it does to any other NCT unit and draws the line distinguishing WayV from NCT even further. I don't think that's a bad thing whatsoever, concepts like this ruled in 2012-2016 and I loved them to death, bringing them back but in a more modernised way is so fresh now that it gets the biggest thumbs up from me. The intro of the song? BOMB. Instant hook, line and gasping for air. The different textures of rap, Xiaojun's high notes and the change-ups of video angles definitely made this feel very modern while still echoing what experimental tracks were like in the era I mentioned. All in all, this is an amazing lead track.
