Chaotic Dads
A/N: so i had this all written last night and then lost half of it so i had to rewrite it but that’s okay because it was so fun to write. i had an amazing time with this imagine and i hope that it is as much fun to read as it was for me to write :-) also also this is the longest imagine i’ve written so i’m proud of that :-)
Pairing: Reddie (Richie Tozier x Eddie Kaspbrak) x Daughter!Reader
If there was only one word that Y/N had to describe living with her dad’s Richie and Eddie, it would be chaotic.
Only on the night Y/N got back from her study group, walking through the doors of her home, there was no chaotic shouting and laughing, no Eddie admonishing Richie for another poor attempt at a British accent. It was silence and hushed whispers, more stressed on Eddie’s side while there was more silence on Richie’s.
“I can’t believe MIke called us. What does he think we’re going to do? Go back to Derry?”
Richie ran a hand through his hair, both men not noticing Y/N walk into the room and stand in the doorway.
“God I feel fucking nauseous.”
“Dad, are you okay?”
Eddie turned his head first, looking at Y/N like a deer caught in headlights, Richie slowly turning his head after; looking a little gray faced.
“O-Oh yeah I’m good kid.”
Y/N nodded slowly, looking skeptical but deciding against saying anything.
“Well is everything okay?”
Eddie started to ring his hands before running his hands over his face.
“U-Um yeah it’s good.”
Y/N nodded before looking around.
“So…”
Both men looked at her confused because of the coy way she had her hands behind her back, rocking back and forth on her heels.
“So?”
“Where is Derry and why does it have you both stressed?”
The couple looked at each other, fear slowly seeping through their bloodstream.
+++
Y/N sat in the back seat as Richie drove, Eddie sitting in the passenger seat, the spectacle clad man gripping the steering wheel until his knuckles were white while passing the sign that read ‘Welcome To Derry’.
The sound of the radio created a soft hum as the wind whipped through the ajar windows, providing a soft sliver of fresh air to combat the suffocating interior of the car.
“So where are we going?” Y/N asked, taking her headphones out and pausing her music, taking in how Eddie and Richie looked at each other.
“T-To um meet up with some old friends.” Eddie whispered, feeling a ball well up in his throat that was about to bring on hyperventilation but then he felt fingers intertwine with his; Richie smiling while he kept his eyes on the road.
“I didn’t know you two had friends.”
Richie laughed properly for the first time since he got the call from Mike, feeling some of the fear alleviating from his chest.
“Ha ha that’s very funny Y/N.” Eddie spoke, his voice deadpan but the humor was evident.
“Also why are we in Derry? I didn’t even know this place existed.”
Richie cleared his throat, uncomfortable memories coming back of Henry calling his homophobic slurs and the sadness of pushing down who he truly was washed over his in staggers.
“Well you see mah dear, Derry is the bees knees.”
Richie’s accent couldn’t be placed and it made Y/N roll her eyes but a smile couldn’t be held back.
“Beep beep Richie.”
+++
Richie pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant and after turning off the car just sat there with Eddie, both looking at each other with a fear that was palpable, Y/N feeling it fill the car and wash over her.
“Dads? Are we all good to go in?”
The sound of their daughter’s voice brought them out of their shared terrified memories, turning in unison to face Y/N before Richie smiled and nodded.
“Let’s get in there.”
“Your New York accent is terrible dad.”
Eddie laughed as Richie rolled his eyes playfully.
“I thought I was getting better.”
Y/N laughed while getting out of the car, Richie and Eddie following shortly after and there was a moment of calm before Eddie grabbed Richie’s hand for stability; Y/N pulling her jumper closer around her as the night air seemed colder.
“Are we sure this is a good idea?” Eddie asked, his hand coming to grip Richie’s shirt to ground himself.
Before Richie could push down the fear to be able to answer, Y/N spoke up from across the parking lot in a tone of faux annoyance.
“Are you two coming or what?”
The pair look at each other, sharing a look and a still moment before turning to look at Y/N, both of them nodding and starting to walk over.
“I don’t know why we agreed to do this?”
Eddie’s rhetorical question came out as a whisper as the trio walked through the door, Y/N going first and heading straight to a small fish tank. The sound of excited conversation and constantly moving cutlery eased the older men’s minds for a moment, focusing hard to not fall into the fear that was clinging at their peripherals; Eddie was shocked that Richie hadn’t tried to fill the silence between the two with unfunny quips and awkward humor.
Eddie stepped forward then and wrapped his arms around Richie’s waist, wanting to hold him and do his best to ground the spectacle clad man. It seems to work as Richie pressed a soft and loving kiss to the crown of the shorter man’s head.
“Whatcha lookin at ova there?”
Y/N turned around and put her hands in her pockets, tilting her head and one of her dads and smiled.
“I was just checkin’ out dem fishes pops.”
Richie laughed at the attempted New York accent, the low rumble in his chest comforting Eddie immensely.
“You really have to work on that accent darling.”
Y/N laughed while rolling her eyes.
“I would’ve said it’s better than yours if I’m honest.”
Before Richie could retort, a hostess came over to them and asked how she could help.
“We’re here to see Mike Hanlon.”
Eddie followed beside the hostess, Richie and Y/N walking a little ways behind so he could list off what he couldn’t eat to the hostess; the other two tuning out what they had heard countless times before.
“- gluten and if I eat cashews I could realistically die…”
Eddie’s voice trailed off as he made eye contact with Mike first and then Bill, a rush of memories hitting him like a train; not noticing that Richie and Y/N were right behind him.
“Holy shit.”
Mike was the first one to one to step forward and greet the trio, first Eddie and then Richie, giving the men a hug each and lingering with his hands on their biceps, one after the other, and just taking in the fact that they were in front of him. Shortly after Bill followed suite and gave each man a handshake.
“I’m so glad you both came.”
The men nodded and were about the speak but then Y/N’s voice cut through.
“Oh my god.”
All the attention was on her as she stepped forward towards Bill, her eyes wide and starstruck. The man in question looked confused for a moment, taken aback by the reaction of the young girl and how excited she was to even be in the same room as him.
“You’re Bill Denbrough.”
“I am and who are you?”
Y/N forgot how to speak for a moment, not believing that her favourite author was speaking to her.
“I’m Y/N, the kid of those losers.”
Y/N motioned to Eddie and Richie lazily with her thumb, smiling when Bill laughed and nodded, both not noticing the mock offended look on the taller man.
“Oi you take that back.”
Y/N turned to look at him and stuck out her tongue before turning back to Bill.
“It’s amazing to meet you. Your books are some of my favourites. I especially love the endings because you have a way of making them feel so real and raw, even if they might not always be what is expected.”
Bill felt a swell of happiness in his chest at hearing that his endings had been enjoyed, only hearing that they weren’t good by so many people, even if they felt like the best direction to him.
“What’s one of your favourites?”
It took a moment for Y/N to think but then it came to her.
“The book about the man with a hook for a hand. It was insane. It took me three days to read the last chapter because I didn’t want it to end.”
“That was one of my favourites to write. The ending of that book was my favourites.”
“It was my favourite too. I felt like I was there with the main character. It was so good.”
Bill smiled and thanked Y/N, watching as they got the copy of the book out of their bag along with a pen and shyly asked if he could sign it.
“It would mean the world if you could.”
Bill took the items from Y/N carefully, opening the book to the title page on the table before writing a sweet message and then signing underneath; handing it back and watching as Y/N read the note.
The pair continued to talk a little ways away as Mike, Richie and Eddie spoke quietly.
“Thank you both for coming. I knew you both would.”
Eddie didn’t want to say anything about the fact that he had really considered not going and it was thanks to Richie that he hadn’t balantently refused or jumped out of the car while it was on the road. He didn’t think Mike would want to hear about that.
“Oh yeah, of course Mike. We wouldn’t miss coming back to kill the clown that made our lives hell as kids for anything.”
Mike didn’t react to the sarcasm or the uncomfortable looks on the pair’s faces, instead starting to ramble about how grateful he was and how excited he was to see the others; no one mentioning Stan. Before anything else could be said however, Beverley’s voice was heard.
“Is that you Trashmouth?”
Everyone turned at the sound, Bev standing there looking as beautiful as always while Ben stook behind, looking bashful and flustered, his crush on Bev hitting him full force after all these years.
“That’s Mr Trashmouth to you mah dear.”
Bev laughed at the accent, memories of Richie’s nonsense filling her mind.
“You know you haven’t gotten any better at the accents Tozier. I would have thought time would help.”
Richie laughed and the soft rumble of his chest comforted Eddie, grounding him and filling his chest and heart with a feeling of overwhelming love and adoration.
“So drinks?”
“After the drive I just had, yes please.”
The group got situated around the table then, Y/N sitting between Bill and Richie, laughing as her dads began to bicker and the waitress come in the take orders. THe atmosphere was like coming home, friends reuniting and picking up right where they left off, even if the elephant in the room was waiting for them to talk about it.
“Oh Bev, Ben, this is our daughter Y/N.”
Beverley was the first to introduce herself, Ben after, the red head making conversation and helping the girl to feel comfortable and welcome. It didn’t take long for the group to share stories with her about what her dads were like as kids, Y/N laughing harder than she had in a while at Richie and Eddie’s antics and how similar they were then to how they were now.
It was then that the drinks came, alcohol for everyone else and a coke for Y/N.
“To the Losers Club and to memories.”
Mike said, raising his glass, the rest of the group, including Y/N (even if she had really no clue).
Everyone repeated the sentiment before clinking their glasses together.
“To the Losers Club and to memories.”

i was talking about stan and his OCD the other day but i didn't really talk about how the other losers would act about it. so!
please remember that OCD is a varied condition and not everyone with it is like what is depicted in this post!
bill
at first stan keeps his obsessions to himself, he's pretty aware of what is a "typical" thought process and what is his brain being kinda weird
but eventually bill finds him having a panic attack over something seemingly mundane. young stan to me had obsessions that focused on the supernatural and "curses", so something like opening an umbrella indoors throws him into hysterics
and as soon as he realizes what he's doing he's humiliated, because like who the fuck cares? everyone knows that's just a stupid superstition, and he's so worried bill's going to think he's a weirdo or a coward
but bill is like. extremely reasonable about it, i think he's used to georgie getting upset over seemingly nonsensical things (the way kids do), so he's just used to treating things he doesn't understand with severity.
maybe there's nothing scary to him about opening an umbrella indoors, but its clearly upset stan and that's what matters here. he calmly asks him what he's upset about and reassures him that if it upsets him then its important
he gets stan to talk through it, bill brings up how richie always opens his umbrella indoors but nothing bad has ever happened to him because of it, which doesn't help a ton because OCD isn't typically very reasonable, but it helps a bit, and stan calms down enough that bill bringing up richie prompts him to go off on a rant about something stupid richie did at school while bill was gone
eddie
despite not having OCD eddie gets it, especially after he finds out that he isn't actually sick
eddie is the first person stan chooses to tell about the weird circles his brain runs in, because he knows eddie still carries around his fake inhaler
eddie isn't scared of the same things stan is, but he can understand being afraid of something he logically knows can't hurt him. they're pretty good at working each other out of panic attacks because of this
richie
(the things richie says to stan here are things you should never ever say to someone with OCD unless you have their express permission, stan finds it funny and helpful, and as someone with OCD so do i, but many will not, and talking like this could make their mental state worse and is just generally an asshole thing to do!)
on paper richie is an asshole to stan about his OCD, he calls him unreasonable, tells him he makes no sense, he's worrying over nothing, etc.
he frequently makes fun of stan's obsessions, if stan says something he thought because of his OCD richie will repeat it back to him in a Voice
but by some miracle this does wonders for stan
if anyone else was saying this stuff it would make him feel like shit, but because it's richie it's hilarious (not that he shows it)
richie assigning characters to his obsessions has managed to completely discredit some of them, and stan is straight up Not Bothered by some of them anymore because as soon as the thought pops up so does richie's voice and he can't take it seriously
there's the scandalized mother who thinks stan is a horrible person for not appreciating his meals properly or something
there's the conspiracy theorist trying to convince stan curses are real
and there's the high school coach who acts like stan is a one man army and they're going to lose the entire war if stan doesn't fold his sheets properly
stan doesn't want to give richie credit for his improved mental state because the way he did it is ridiculous, but yeah, richie and his voices have definitely helped
beverly
bev is great at Not Talking About It and Being Normal About It
stan will say something extremely concerning (use your imagination, i don't want to provide an example lol), and bev is like "yeah thats fucked up." and then they move on
he never gets the feeling she's brushing him off or anything, she'd definitely Actually Talk About It if he asked, but sometimes he just needs to get the thought out there and then immediately move on
sometimes it is exhausting to actually talk about feelings, sometimes stan just needs to express that he's feeling something, be acknowledged, then move on
"i just thought [insert concerning compulsion he doesn't want to do]" "or we could skip class and build a snowfort before all these other assholes ruin the fresh snow at lunch"
stan never feels judged in the slightest when he's with bev, and it helps free him of some of the judgment in his own mind :)
ben
ben is so so so good at listening, not only is he just the only nice 13 year old stan has ever met, he has one of those faces yknow?
he finds himself telling ben things it took him nearly a decade of friendship to tell bill
ben is clearly confused and concerned, but he never makes stan feel like he's unreasonable
stan usually only tells his friends about his specific obsessions when they've bottled up and are about to explode, or when he's in the midst of a panic attack
but with ben he feels like he can talk about the other stuff that comes with it, the impact his thought processes have had on his life
ben offers suggestions from time to time, not all of them stick, but the ones that do really help stan out
mike
mike finds a way to keep stan from worrying about anything at all
stan could spend all day worrying about something, and then mike shows up and explains some new topic to stan and it's like stan wasn't even stressed in the first place
stan can't even count the number of times mike has gone through an explanation of the history of derry, or what various states are known for, or the tasks mike does at the farm, or the history of some obscure scientific/cultural phenomenon
stan genuinely loves hearing about anything mike wants to talk about, but he also just finds mike to be a really engaging speaker to the point he stops thinking about whatever was bothering him
it is very much a win/win situation
sometimes mike will manage to pull him out of whatever was worrying him and get him to talk about birds and the boy scouts and they always end up having a ton of fun :)
the losers love stan and he loves them <3

I really love @gloomy-prince ‘s trans Eddie comic so so so so fucking much. ITS SOOOO SOO well crafted and wholesome and always makes me smile or like gasp in some way everytime it updates
SOOOO I drew a lil fanart of the AU with Richie being silly right after the haircut because FUCK I love to imagine how supportive and cute all the losers would be with eddie, esp richie.... MY HEARTTTTTT !!!
ALT TEXT: a drawing of trans eddie with his hair short, having just been cut by richie. richie is behind him holding two strands of cut hair above his lip as if it is a mustache. he is smiling wide and saying “HOI. OIM MISTAH EDWARD K!!” while eddie rolls his eyes playfully and tries not to smile.
also. READ MORE FOR A BONUS COMIC BUT BE WARNED MY COMIC SKILLS ARE LACKING
stan has to do it all himself in the end, as was richie’s intention XDDD
ALT TEXT: a 6 panel comic. In the first panel, richie and eddie are laying in the hammock, with eddie reading a comic book and richie just relaxing. In the second panel, there are “huffs” and “hrks” that are heard by richie. He looks over. In the third panel, stan is carrying a big box that says “bird books” and also a grocery bag. He looks tired. He says, “can one of you lazy fucks help me?” In the fourth panel, richie smiles and looks at stan. He says “You heard em eds, use them big man musk-les!” Eddie glances up from his book. In the fifth panel, eddie angrily throws his comic book at richie and says, “JUST BECAUSE YOU FOUND OUT IM A DUDE DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO GIVE ME ALL THE WORK, ASSHOLE!”. Richie goes, “LMAOOO”. In the sixth and final panel, Stan is still carrying his stuff and he looks annoyed as all hell. He’s squinting angrily. Meanwhile, richie and eddie argue off screen through speech bubbles. “well idk I think it does!” “it does NOT!” “I mean... look, you’re strong enough!” “It’s NOT ABOUT being STRONG!”

"Shut up, Richie!" Eddie screeched from his place alongside Richie in the hammock. "You're so disgusting..."
"But you like it, don't you, Eds," Richie taunted. "I mean, how can you not, you love me, right?"
"Well, yes, but I wish I didn't," Eddie said, shoving Richie out of the hammock.
"Ten minutes, Eds," Y/n stood over the boys, hands on her hips. "It's my turn in the hammock." She gave him a cheeky grin as he begrudgingly stepped out of the hammock. "Thank you." Y/n slipped into the hammock and waved Stanley over.
"I'm not getting in the hammock with you, but I will sit right here and talk to you." Stan sat on the ground, holding Y/n's hand over the side of the hammock.
"C'mon, babe, please! It's just ten minutes, you only have to lay with me for ten minutes."
"Stan doesn't even like laying with you for two minutes, I'd bet," Richie called from across the clubhouse.
"That's not true!"
"Yeah, what he said," Y/n got out of the hammock and put her hands under Stanley's arms, attempting to lift the boy into the hammock. He slumped over in her arms, making his body dead weight. "Come on, Stan! Don't be an asshole!"
"Yeah, Stan, don't be an asshole!" Richie crudely mimicked Y/n's voice. Eddie slapped the back of Richie's head, making his glasses fall to the ground. "Gee, thanks, Eds. Why don't we let Y/n hit me harder than that, shall we?"
"Shut up, douchebag," Y/n retorted, unsuccessfully lifting Stan. She pulled her arms back to her body and Stan fell to the floor, dirt coating his face.
He spit on the floor, scrubbing his tongue. "Why did you do that?" He stood up, dropping into the hammock. "Now I get to sit here all alone." Stan held up his hand and made a shooing motion.
"No." Y/n forced her way into Stan's lap. "Not all alone." She gave him a just try to get rid of me look.
"Fine," Stan put his hands on her hips and she leaned down to kiss him until she was hit in the face with a ball of paper.
"NO PDA IN THE CLUBHOUSE!" Richie yelled.
"Shut up!" Stan and Y/n replied in unison, flipping him off. Stan sat up, pulling Y/n's lips to his as Eddie gagged.

*******************************************
The bus slowed down as Y/n looked through the window at the familiar streets of Derry. A touch of nostalgia surrounded her as the autumn wind brushed through her hair. The town she hadn't seen for years was now in front of her.
*"Back in Derry."* Y/n sighed, her thoughts swirling like the autumn leaves outside.
As the bus stopped at the edge of town, a mix of excitement and uncertainty washed over her. Her mother had taken her away after her parents' separation. But now she was returning to her father and beloved sister, Beverly.
Stepping off the bus, her gaze fell on the house that once was her home. Beverly stood on the sidewalk, a radiant smile on her face.
*"Y/n! You're finally back!"* Beverly embraced her sister tightly.
*"I've missed you so much, Beverly."* Y/n reciprocated the hug, but her eyes betrayed a deep sadness.
They entered the house together. Beverly's joy was palpable, but the atmosphere inside was tense. Their father sat in the kitchen, engrossed in the newspaper. Y/n felt a pang in her chest as she noticed his cold gaze.
*"Hello, Dad."* Y/n attempted a friendly greeting, but his silence spoke volumes.
Sensing the tension, Beverly tried to lighten the mood. *"Isn't it great that Y/n is back?"* she said with an encouraging smile.
While Beverly warmly welcomed her sister's return, Y/n‘s resentment toward her father hung heavy in the air.
Their father didn't even lift his gaze from the newspaper. The chill in his silence was like an icy shadow over the room.
*"Well, we'll see."* Y/n tried to conceal her uncertainty, but the silence seemed louder than any conversation.
Beverly led her sister to her old room, now a mix of memories and forgotten items. The creaking of the door and the sight of the familiar space brought Y/n back in thought.
*"You can settle in here. It's still the way you left it."* Beverly tried to dispel the melancholy in the air.
*"Thank you, Beverly. You're still the best."* Y/n forced a smile, but the pain of her absence permeated the room.
The next hour passed in an uncomfortable silence as they tried to bridge the past.
*"I'm going into town to run some errands."* Beverly eventually broke the silence. *"We can talk later."*
After Beverly left, Y/n looked at her father, who was still engrossed in his newspaper. The room seemed to shrink as the unspoken conflict between father and daughter cast heavy shadows.
*"Why did you come back?"* her father suddenly said, without lifting his gaze.
*“Mother said it was time.“ * she felt her voice tremble.“*
*"It wasn't my decision to let you go. It was hers."* His words were icy, and her heart sank.
*"You've never treated Mother, me, and Beverly well. That's why Mother left you."* her voice cut through the tension in the room as she accused her father.
He glared at her angrily, but before he could respond, the door opened, and Beverly entered, holding a bag from shopping. She seemed To feel unwell and tried to go to her room.
*"Whatcha got there?“* Her father went to Beverly, asking about the contents of the bag.
*"Just some things."* Beverly replied briefly.
*"Like what?"* he persisted. He took the bag from her, looked inside, and noticed the tampons she had purchased. He glanced back with a subtle grin, gently touching her cheek. Y/n observed the strange and inappropriate gesture as Beverly tensed up and flinched slightly. He then smelled her hair, took hold of her ponytail, and uttered, *"Tell me you're still my little girl."* Beverly's response was a resigned *"Yes, Daddy."* With that answer, he appeared satisfied and released her.
Beverly reacted by quickly retreating to her room. Her sister, who had witnessed the entire bizarre scene, found the interaction between father and daughter peculiar.
He gave Y/n a final glance and returned to his previous activity. She understood that the previous discussion they had was closed for him.
After Beverly disappeared into her Room, Y/n went to her room with mixed feelings. The argument and the bizarre encounter between her father and Beverly had turned the first day of her return into an unexpected drama.
The house, once a safe haven, now seemed permeated with unspoken words and hurt feelings. The first day of her return held more conflicts than she had expected, indicating that the challenges in Derry had only just begun.

cg stan from it hc for baby regressor?? (0-2)
hello anon!! of course <3 stan is my favorite it character so i really hope you like this!! he is so caregiver coded,, anyways, take care! :D
caregiver stanley uris headcanons!
•stan would be a very sweet yet organized and careful caregiver. he just wants to make sure that you’re okay!
•he likes to plan in advance for things, like if you were going to the park or exactly what book you want to read before bed. it always gives you little things to look forward to when you regress!
•he has a few rules that he likes to stick to, like your bedtime being reasonable and that you have enough meals/cups of water. but other than that, he isn’t strict! he feels like while your regression should be safe, it should also be fun, and he doesn’t want to constantly police what you do.
•i think he would really like playing games with you! like matching games, board games, or even just building blocks :0
•his favorite pet names for you are angel, dear, and love.
•always prepared!! if you regress in public, he’s got a plushie for you to hold/fidget with. if you regressed on a long road trip and forgot to pack for if you got small, he’s got paci’s and your favorite cups/bottles in a little bag. trust him to have everything you need!
•stan definitely buttons your buttons for you and laces your shoes. he brushes your hair behind your ear and makes sure the collars of your shirts/coats aren’t twisted. he’ll always murmur something like, “let me fix that for you, kiddo” and it always makes you feel small!
•he loves reading to you. he’ll let you pick out any book you want and read it to you!! if it’s a picture book, he’ll look at the pictures with you and point out small details, and if it’s a chapter book, he’ll read it dramatically and ask you what you think is going to happen.
•praises anything you color/draw!! he tapes anything you make for him to his bedroom wall and looks at it when he misses you.
•loves taking you bird watching! he’ll take you to the park and point out all the birds to you, giving you many facts about them too. he’d never admit it, but it warms his heart when you point at them and say, “birdie!”
•also really good at listening to you, too!! you can talk to him about anything. you can give him stuffed animal lore, talk about one of your interests, complain about a problem bigger you has to face,, whatever it is, he’s more than happy to nod and talk to you about it!
•if you were ever feeling upset, stan would be very gentle with you. his voice would soften in a way that it only does for you, and he would do his best to talk you through it. if you were comfortable with physical affection, he’d wrap an arm around you and pull you close to him.
•he’d try to make things easier for you when things were tough— checking up on you more often and making sure you were taking care of yourself— especially now. he loves you and he really, really wants you to be okay.
•stan quite honestly adores you. he thinks you’re adorable when you’re small, and he wants to protect you. if he can make things easier for you, or make you happy, then that’s all he wants <3

Okay guys, I have two questions
1) After watching IT for the 74729 time again, I can't help myself but want to write for them. Would anyone be interested in them?
2) after adding instagram post into my newest fic, I realised that making them was fun! So should I do something like that again? Would you guys love it?
Please share your thoughts!
