By now, it’s no secret that I’m a huge nerd for Star Wars.

So….. what did I think of it?
Well, to be honest, there were definitely things that I wish didn’t happen. The “twist” midway through being one of them.

But at the end of the day, I had a lot of fun watching it and I’m more than likely going to see it a third time. That’s what matters to me, I had fun. That’s what Star Wars is supposed to be: fun.

Plus I now have a lot of inspiration to write so I’d say thats a plus!

I’ve been on Tumblr for a while but I wound up taking an unofficial hiatus. So much has been going on in my life and it all seemed to come to a head this week. I thought, after all this change and silence, that now was the best time to re-introduce myself to Tumblr as a writeblr!

So those of you who are new to my page, welcome! My name is Morrigan and I have been creating stories since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I have several WIPs under my belt:

- Star Wars: Tempest

- Silver and Thorn

- The Vow

- The Girl Made of Lightening

- Song Take Flight (Phantom of the Opera fanfiction)

and there’s no telling which one I will focus on. Sometimes I’ll post art from my WIP’s, sometimes I’ll post snippets if I’m feeling especially proud. Right now, I am determined to finish Star Wars: Tempest (draft five) by the end of the year and start the beta-reading process.

When I’m not glued to my keyboard or hard at work, I am Dungeon Master for two Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. Lately, we’ve started recording our sessions and posting them to YouTube. If you’re the kind of writer that likes to listen to podcasts while you work, then check out the campaign Laughter and Medicine! I hope we can make you laugh with our shenanigans.

Thank you so much for reading this and feel free to explore any of the tags on my page! If you like what you read or want to read more, shoot me a message, like, reblog and all that! I’m pretty good at answering messages and I am totally open to tag posts. (If I don’t do them, don’t worry. I’m pretty busy.)

Bye, guys!

For a while I was beginning to worry that Disney and the SW story group were actively avoiding the prequel era altogether. while the movies themselves are were heavily flawed, there is a lot of great story potential in that era in my opinion and it killed me to see that era unused. It is nice to see 2019 and even some of 2018 proving that fear completely wrong, especially when the past two months have given two novels, an audio drama, 9 comic one shots and a tease at the final season of TCW to start fleshing things out. While I am always happy for new SW novels (especially because new books mean new audio books which means new listening material for driving and working), it is really scratching a growing itch to see three books in a row for the time period.

Now if only they could stop beating around the bush and give us the one prequel era thing we need most: the recanonization of Plagueis as a character beyond a monologue and some allusions and the recreation of his and Sidious’ backstory. James Luciano has not released a book in a hot minute, somebody get him on that right away!!
