This moment before Ahsoka´s trial always semed so interesting to me, because of what wasn´t said.

At the moment Ahsoka had her trial Anakin and Padme had stopped seeing each other, this was post Clovis chapter and they were just doing their own thing.

But then this happens and that means they had this conversation at some point before going to see Ahsoka at her cell.

Anakin: Enters Padme´s office.

Padme: Anakin, I already told you, we need time, we are living a lie, we must stop seeing each other and...

Anakin: Ahsoka was accused of treason and she´s going to have court martial.

Padme: I will get my court gown and my blaster, let me off at those bitches

Anakin: Nods, I will get the son of a hutt who´s framing her.

After going through a thousand and one tangents in my head I suddenly remembered that in Legends, the lightsabers that Dooku gifts to Asajj (as shown in the Tartakovsky Clone Wars series) are actually the lightsabers of his former padawan Komari Vosa who got captured by a cult and was psychologically tortured and broken until she turned to the Dark Side, eventually ending up leading the cult. Dooku then sends Jango Fett to go kill her to prove that he should be the template for the clone army. Also Komari was there on Galidraan with Dooku when the True Mandalorians got massacred by the Jedi with Jango being the only survivor of the battle and getting sold into slavery in the aftermath.

All of this to say, that Dooku eventually hands over to his new apprentice in the Dark Side the lightsabers created by his former apprentice who fell to the Dark Side before he did, who helped kill Mandalorians with him before eventually being defeated by the one survivor of that massacre and finished off by her former master.

I uploaded a verry similar version of this a couple days ago with a simple caption, but after seeing people's reaction I realized they way I had shortened things to be quick and snappy distorted what I was trying to say. I’m so happy that there are people here who want to have that deeper conversation, so here it is:

The medium of animation is sadly seen as only for kids. Because of this most animated shows are either forced into that category or have to be so outrageously and obviously adult as so not to ‘fool’ people. Most animated shows aimed at adults follow similar styles to The Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park with an episodic story instead of one with a centralized plot. While these shows are well loved, it can be aggravating when they are all people think of when they imagine animation that’s not specifically made for kids.

Even animated shows aimed at younger audiences suffer from the societal opinions of animation. The creators of the Owl House, Gravity Falls, and Amphibia have talked about how they were censored by Disney, likely because of this perception. The removal of more heavy topics from these shows on pushes the stigma furthers. Viewers of these shows show are often also looked down upon for only watching ‘kids shows’ this is what my original post was getting at.

Some animated shows, such as Arcane, have been able to be both for older audiences, and have an overarching plot and goal. I can’t wait for a day when animation is simply seen as a medium for a story instead of defining it.

Shego is definitely one of the most nostalgic/iconic morally grey girlbosses. She may not be the “main villain” of Kim Possible but she’s the one really running the show. She has moments where she’s good and moments where she’s the main villain, but she’s always a girlboss.

Asajj Ventress was submitted without propaganda.

before i begin i have to say that I love all the art you drew for tessite's fics they are so lovely. obi-wan and korkie meeting after satine died has always been fascinating to me. the one link that holds the two of them together is gone. they're looking at each other expecting to see the satine, but they're not her. Hear me out, HEAR ME OUT. I honestly don't think there was a funeral for Satine 👁 . I'm inclined to believe that her body was probably discarded in an awful manner. Maul would've probably got some sick sense of vengeance out of that. And in the veeeery off chance that someone managed to recover the body, I'm not sure Korkie would've been there for that (,: He did escape Mandalor... right? I don't quite remember that sequence of events.

SO THERE, that's my answer. Korkie at Satine's funeral? Pff, unlikely. So he mourns alone in the wastelands of Mandalore.
