definitely gay

grew up in a homophobic, religious family

first time he saw gay people was on tv on a news program about same-sex marriage being legalised

george immediately turned it off in disdain and evelyn distracted him with some food, but the thought lingered at the back of his mind

as he grows up, he collects sports magazines. more often with lean, muscular men on the covers than not

he suppresses it for years but it comes to a head when the cute new farmer moves in

and the rest is history

his family wasn't pleased to say the least. their only son, gay and a writer? the blasphemy.

didn't dare confess to any of his childhood crushes because he grew up in a pretty old fashioned area

lived in zuzu city for a short while before moving to stardew valley, had a relatively unhealthy lifestyle of drinking and hookups and no sleep. the cabin on the beach helped with his insomnia

he lost a trans girlfriend to suicide back in the city. it sticks with him, and he makes sure to respectfully inquire about all his patients' mental health and if they need anything

he likes the farmer for their cool, confident demeanor regardless of their gender.

pam catches her reading a lesbian romance once, and penny fears the worst

she never really fathomed being attracted to men in the first and doesn't get why demetrius is so against her having male friends

demetrius is obnoxiously supportive once he finds out. the farmer sighs every time they walk in on an overly large display of support

he celebrates her coming-out anniversary every year

she's also on the asexual spectrum. something like demisexual, maybe. she doesn't have it figured out yet

emily

pansexual, and open about it

every time someone asks if she has a boyfriend, she corrects them to 'significant other'.

romance doesn't work like 'normal' to her

every friendship has a little romance, and every romance has a lot of friendship. isn't that the best way to live?

she's very affectionate. with friends, family, s/o's, anyone.

Bachelor/ettes Whose S/O Knows Magic (+ How Willing They are to Learn It)

Slowly working my way through these requests. Hi, 🌙! Glad to hear you liked my stuff. These are pretty short just because I wanted to get them out. I forgot about the whole monsters being magic part until I got to Abigail's section but i just decided to ignore it because I could not be bothered to rewrite everything.

TW: Injury mentions, break-up mention, mental crisis mention

Bachelors:

Sam

I feel like Sam does and doesn't believe in magic. I don't really know how to explain it. I mean, we know he has an interest in UFOs because of the book in his room, but I don't know about magic per se. I think he would be very excited to find out it's real, though. He would immediately want to know all the cool stuff you can do with it and what it's capable of. Expect him to ask you to teach him.

Sam is very willing to learn magic. He's a risk-taker; he's gotten his fair share of cuts and scrapes over his life. What's a little magic gonna do?

"Woah, what was that?"

Elliott

I think if any of the bachelors were to already be aware of magic it would be Elliott. He lives alone in a shack on the beach right next to where the ghost of the Old Mariner lives, so surely he's seen him at least once, right? And if he has, he'd know not everything is what it seems. So, when he finds out you do magic, he's a lot more relaxed--still surprised, but relaxed.

He's a little hesitant to learn magic, simply because of how dangerous it can be. But with the right guidance, he'd warm up to it. Deep down he wants to learn it, too. Imagine the writing possibilities!

"Careful, dear! Doctor Harvey won't be happy if you hurt yourself!"

Sebastian

Sebastian does not believe in magic. Does he enjoy stories that feature it? Yes. And does he want it to be real? Absolutely! But he just doesn't think it is. So, when he finds out it is and his partner is someone who uses it, he's very, very confused. Expect Sebastian to sort of back up a bit when he finds out. He trusts you, but not the magic. Just give him time and an explanation.

Sebastian is less willing to learn magic than Elliott or Sam. He's read enough fantasy books to "know" the dangers of it. He's worried about you using it. Definitely don't use it at home--he doesn't want the house to burn down.

"So...How does this work?"

Harvey

Harvey's very science-based; he's a doctor, so his whole job (and life by that extension) revolves around being scientific. As such, he doesn't believe in magic. But like Sebastian, he'd like for it to be real. So, when he finds out his S/O is actually magic, he has a bit of a crisis. Depending on what type of magic you practice and how it affects you and other people, he'll be very worried about people's health and will likely "ban" you from using it around others (or even in general!).

So, yeah, Harvey's going to be very hesitant to learn magic. He does not want to mess around with the risk of hurting himself or others. The only magic you'd probably be able to get him to do is something much safer. Perhaps plant-based magic? All he'll be hurting is a shrub, as long as it won't hurt him too bad.

"Are you--are you sure you want to do this?"

Shane

We know from his dialogue in the game that Shane does not believe in magic at all. He's more science-based than Harvey. He doesn't really believe in anything other than nothing. So, he has an even worse crisis when he finds out magic is real. And that crisis is doubled by learning his partner was well aware of it and even used it! You need to give him a lot of explanation.

Unlike Harvey, however, I feel that Shane would be much more interested in actually learning magic once he gets over his crisis. He doesn't care as much for his health, so if it's just him it's affecting he doesn't really care. And who doesn't want to be able to shoot fire from their hands?

"Holy shit! Did you see that?"

Alex

I headcanon Alex is really gullible. If you have a good enough way of words, he'll believe magic is either real or not real (though he leans towards not real). He's still confused as all hell when he finds out it's real-real, but I digress. He's still worried for your health, but he's definitely excited at the same time.

Alex would love to learn magic! He'd think it's so cool. When you offer he accepts immediately. He likes to show off his strength when he's practicing. He probably doesn't even use magic to help him carry things just so he can boast his raw strength.

"Hey, Farmer! Check this out!"

Bachelorettes:

Penny

Penny's a big believer in magic. She has been ever since she was a little kid. Fairies are her favourite magic creature, but she likes anything involving it. So, when she finds out her partner practices magic, she's over the moon!

Penny also believes magic takes a lot of skill to master, so she's a little shy to start learning it. But deep down, that little girl inside of her is ecstatic. Eventually, she warms up to the idea and decides to learn it. Though, there is a lot of screaming involved every time the fire comes a bit too close.

"Sugar, I'm not so sure about this."

Leah

Leah doesn't believe in magic, but like many others on this list she'd like for it to be real. I know I headcanon Leah as a very relaxed person, but she's still pretty shocked to learn it's real. You definitely have to do some explaining. Of course, Leah wonders how magic could be integrated into her art. Could she make a living artwork?

So, she naturally accepts the offer to learn. I think Leah would pick it up really quickly for someone who previously didn't know of its existence. She's got an open mind and has an easier time grappling the concepts of learning it. It still takes time, but she gets there.

"Hey, look at this magic sculpture I made. It's dedicated to you."

Abigail

Abigail does believe in magic. She's one of the few people who's taken the time to research ancient monsters and actually know that what they're capable of isn't normal. It's part of the reason why she wants to go into the mines; just to witness it. So, she jumps at the idea to learn magic and is astounded to find out her partner knows it.

Abigail's pretty rusty compared to other people learning magic. But she doesn't let that stop her! Her determination is through the roof. She'll practice all day and night--save for snack breaks--for as long as she can. You might even get annoyed at all her nagging to learn more.

"Do you think I could enchant my sword?"

Maru

Maru, like Harvey, only knows science. Her whole world is basically flipped upside down when she learns her partner of all people is a magic-user. Expect a lot of confused noises when she catches you spinning water to clean the dishes. You have a lot of explaining to do. Why--how is this real? And why didn't you tell her?

Once everything is explained to her and she gets some time alone to process it all, Maru's excited to learn magic. She may not understand it fully, and that may cause a lot of discomfort for her, but she still wants to learn. Like Leah, Maru wants to know how she can apply it to her craft. Could she make working machines without having to use any power? And how could this better the environment and humanity?

"What...What was that?"

Emily

Emily is at least super spiritual. Whether she thinks it's possible for people to lift water out of the river without anything touching it is a different question, but she does think that singing to plants helps them grow on a relationship basis. Emily probably has the easiest time understanding it all. She just wants to make sure you're safe using it.

With her open mind, she has an easier time understanding everything. Emily's most interested in learning telekinesis. Imagine how useful that would be! Being able to move things with your mind would help drastically in both everyday life and also just for fun! But any magic she gets to learn is magic enough.

"Oh, I knew it!"

Haley

Haley is the opposite to her sister. Where Emily is kind and understanding, Haley is rude and black-and-white. At least at first. By the time she's gotten a partner, she's a lot more open-minded. But don't let that fool you; she's still not having an easy time understanding it all! To be honest, she probably reverts back to her old self for a period of time to cope with it all. She might even consider a break-up!

Once she gets over it all, though, she slowly works her way towards learning it. She's definitely not super keen, but it seems useful enough. To be honest, part of her is thinking of shoplifting some expensive clothes with it. But she quickly brushes that thought away. Once she gets the hang of it, she enjoys showing off her skills to other people (if they can know).

"I'm sorry, what?!"

Stardew Valley Bachelors playing Overcooked with the farmer

I played overcooked with my brother today and it gave me this idea. It’s a bit niche but who cares? I don’t ✨

Sam:

-will scream the entire time

-starts off chill, grows more and more stressed the longer you play

-“I’M THE RACOON GUY!”

-has no fucking plan whatsoever, don’t even try to explain a plan to him

-just go with the flow with him… it is all chaos anyway

-overall not the best at the game, but he is the most fun to play with out of all 6 bachelors

Sebastian:

-he is the opposite of Sam…maybe not entirely

-so he’s really strategic

-will scream the entire time as well (don’t take it personally, he’s s just very passionate about it)

-he’s the grumpy dark cat lol

-loves the very hard levels with the changing kitchens because then he can plan out how you go about it entirely. As I said, he’s a very passionate gamer

-you’ll play the levels over and over again till you have 3 stars…so buckle up 😼

Harvey:

-the last time he played any video game was when he was a child and had a Nintendo 64 🤷🏼‍♀️

-sooo,,,he’s really not good 😭

-he is a well-tempered person, but OH BROTHER

-run for the hills when he loses at video games

-such a sore loser, he’s so eager to beat the levels but he isn’t that good at coordinating his character which puts him in a very rarely-seen temper tantrum

-“WHAT THE?! I DID THE THING SO WHY ISN’T HE DOING WHAT I WANT FOR FUCK’S SAKE !?” (He never says ‘fuck’, so it means he is MAD ANGRY)

-he’s the squirrel with the nice moustache…you know why 😘

Elliott:

-he’s not really the gamer type, soooo he has no clue what he’s doing

-but surprisingly, he is not too bad

-in fact, he gets the hang of it really fast for a guy who never plays video games

-not related to the game, but he loves it when you sit in his lap while playing 🥰 he likes having you close

-since there isn’t one character that really looks like him, he’s taking the narwhal or some other sea creature,,, he just thinks they are neat 🤷🏼‍♀️

-will be so proud of you when you manage to beat a level with 3 stars

-“we make such a great team, right y/n? 😄”

Shane:

-old-school gamer, baby

-like Harvey, he started his gaming career with Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis, but he never stopped and it became one of his main hobbies

-is a sore loser as well, so he’ll complain about fucking up…A LOT

-“WHAT ARE YOU DOING !? GIVE ME THE FUCKING ONION!!!WE ARE LOSING TIME, BABE!!!!”

-stress snacker. If you have snacks on the table, he’ll grab in the bowl and eat them all while you’re playing

-when you win a level, he’ll be way too enthusiastic…I’m talking giving you an aggressive kiss on either the lips or cheeks and being like “WOOOOHOOO WE FUCKING RULE THIS BITCH”

-plays as either the eagle or the calico cat. If there was a chicken, he’d be that lol

Alex:

-he’s one of the younger bachelors, but video games? It’s not his forté

-he was the kind of kid to play outside, he was rarely in his room doing something…so he isn’t that good 😅

-he is like your grandma who just got her first smartphone

-he doesn’t really get anything and is really just bumming about, so you carry the both of you to at least 2 stars

-he’s very competitive though; so he’ll still try to be good for you (and his ego)

-he sucks ASS sorry baby boy 😭🥹

-his favourite character is the guy with sunglasses 😎 because he looks like him

Stardew Valley 20 Heart Event Headcanons pt. 4!

Alex!

12-heart event: Alex sees you in town and asks if you want to go see a movie at the movie theatre with him. You meet him at the movie theatre at 7pm and you two go in and see a movie. You see whatever is in the theatre at the time. You sit and enjoy the movie, he puts his arm around you. In the middle of the movie, he kisses you.

14-heart event: Alex has never seen your farm and he wants to help out. (By that I mean lifting heavy things and showing off.) Alex comes over at around 8 a.m. You already did some of the work but he'd still like to help. He helps you lift haybales and put hay into the silo. He helps you move crops and helps you with some of your animals. (a chicken lands on his head.) You both sit down at the end with some drinks. Alex says he had a good time, he really enjoyed spending time with you today. You're always so busy farming and working that he doesn't always get to see you. The next thing to do is take the rest of the crops into town and sell them at Pierre's. Alex helps you grab some of the crops, but before he goes he gives you a kiss. Then runs for the town, he's decided he wants to race you to the store.

16-heart event: You go into town to see Alex talking to someone. You wait for Alex to finish his conversation and head over afterward. You ask Alex who that was and he says that was a talent agent. He has been looking for people to try out for the Zuzu City Tunnelers! Alex is so excited but also seems a bit nervous. Two dialogue prompts pop up (don't be you'll do great!/You put in so much practice, as long as you remember that you'll do just fine.) He responds and says that you're right, hugs you, and goes off to practice.

18 heart event~ Part 1: Be at the farm between 2 and 4 pm. Alex is waiting there for you. He says he went to the tryouts and all went well from what he could tell. He hopes everything went well but he's still nervous about all the things he might have done wrong. (Stop worrying about the small things, I'm sure you did great!/ well at least you tried, it's better than not trying at all.) Either way, Alex is glad he talked to you.

Part 2: be at Alex's house between noon and 2 pm. Alex is glad to see you, he says he's waiting to get a phone call from the recruitment agent. The agent calls and Alex listens carefully. He doesn't say anything at first but then he says he got into the team. He's so happy he hugs and kisses you. He then runs out of his room to tell his grandparents about how he got the position on the team. They are also very excited/happy for him.

~ Marriage~

20 Heart Event: It's time for Alex to play with the Tunnelers! A bunch of people from stardew get on the bus to cheer him on, you included of course. The game goes great and the Tunnelers win! Everyone is on the sidelines cheering. He sees you afterward and gives you a big hug. He's so happy that you won and he's even happier that you're here. He kisses you on the field sidelines as everyone cheers and confetti goes off from above.

(I never really 100% like the idea that Alex just abandoned his dream of playing grid ball so included it in my headcanon)

What the Bachelor/ettes Would Dress Up as for Halloween

Here’s a short one for today. Happy Halloween, everyone!

No cut because it's relatively short. Mentions of fake blood. Enjoy <3

Sam

Used a werewolf costume but is supposed to be the Big Bad Wolf

Probably cut up one of his flannels for the costume

Jodi is very upset about that, it was a nice flannel!

Has a full wolf mask that opens when he talks

Vincent screamed bloody murder when Sam came out of his bedroom

Apparently Sam was unaware that Vincent has a phobia of werewolves

The More You Know™

He felt a little bit bad about that, but thankfully was able to calm down his little brother eventually

Seb

A wizard Rasmodius is amused

Probably was going to wear it for a cosplay to comic-con years ago but ended up not being able to go

He’s got a full gray beard, with long billowing robes and everything

Probably has a scepter that he made himself out of paper mache and clay

Definitely wears a wizard hat, too

But the robes are so long that he almost lands on his face multiple times throughout the night

Eventually he resorts to holding up the ends of his robes like a princess

Abigail and Sam cannot stop laughing

Alex

Dressed up as Ken

Didn’t want to bleach his hair blonde, but the spirit is there!

Probably has a pink neck tie and a pink button up polo

Takes his role very seriously

Probably learned the choreo for “I’m Just Ken”

Also got Dusty a glittery pink collar for the occasion

Calls literally every woman in town “Barbie” for the whole night

George is weird about it, but Evelyn is having a blast lmao

Elliott

Dressed up as Mark Twain

He carries around a fake raven skull for the bit

Waxes poetic about death and mortality

Probably quotes a few of Twain’s books but only the very obscure bits that only another “Twain connoisseur” would recognize

Leah tries to comfort him as best she can when no one recognizes him

Even though no one recognizes her either

Shane

A mummy

Wrapped himself in toilet paper and called it a day lmfao

Jas makes a stink about not matching with him though

She has a gorgeous fairy dress and was going to wear her bunny-jewel slippers

Marnie was going to put glitter in her hair and everything

But nope

Uncle Shane was going as a mummy, and so she wanted to be a mummy

It’s the cutest thing in the world

Shane is cheesing the whole night, and the rest of the town is terribly endeared by the two of them

Marnie doesn’t even mind the money spent on Jas’ original costume

They look too happy to be upset about it, anyway

Harvey

Dressed up as a homicidal/mad doctor

He’s not terribly creative, and he’s already got all of the costume pieces anyway

Everyone asks him why he didn’t dress up

He is very perturbed by that

Of course he dressed up! Don’t you see the fake blood on his coat?

What about the wild hair and the dark circles??

No? Seriously?

Maru

A robot!

Goes all-the-fuck-out

Has fully functioning extra limbs, probably a voice manipulator as well

Spent months on her physical costume, and Penny helped her with the make-up on the day of

Bought colored contacts that make her eyes look mechanical

Probably also built a candy dispenser into the suit so when Jas and Vincent run around getting candy from all of the villagers, she just presses a button on her wrist band and her stomach opens up to reveal a bowl of candy

The kids love her

Penny

She dressed up as Red Riding Hood, but with a twist!

She’s also a wolf!

Her and Sam are doing a duo costume

So she’s got the little dress and the hood, but the edges are tattered and she’s got insane costume makeup on

No wolf mask for her, unfortunately, but the effort she put into every other aspect of it makes up for it

Is horrified to find that Vincent is terrified of her

She probably feels bad about it for a few weeks after that and vows never to touch a wolf costume ever again

Abigail

Abigail dressed up as a skeleton

Got a few black clothes and drew an anatomically correct skeleton on them with bleach and paintbrushes

It’s wildly impressive

The sweatshirt she used will 100% be worn again, even when it isn’t Halloween

Got a face paint palette and made her face look like an actual skull

Probably pinned her hair back under a black wig cap or something to keep it cohesive

When she shows up for the festival, no one actually knows it’s her because she’s covered head-to-toe

Also has full-eye contacts that make her scleras black

Confuses the hell out of the skeletons Marlon has in those old cages, also confuses Marlon for like half a second before he realizes that it’s a costume

Haley

Barbie. Obviously.

Her and Alex are also doing a duo costume!

Has her hair in a high ponytail

Everything is glittery, sparkly, and pink, pink, pink

Did her nails even pinker and sparklier

Probably has a little purse with a stuffed chihuahua in it

Abandons that idea when she sees Dusty, though

He looks so handsome with his pink collar, you know?

She posts pictures of their costumes on her socials after the night is over

Leah

Dressed up as Leonardo Da Vinci

Everyone thinks she’s just some old French Noble or something

Which breaks her heart

And not just because Leonardo was Italian

Oh, except for Haley!

Haley knows who she is right off the bat, and compliments her costume very genuinely

Leah feels a little better after that, until she has to run away and comfort Elliott

“I’ve got a raven skull and everything!” / “I know, I know.”

Someone save her lmfao

Emily

Made her whole costume from scratch

She’s a strawberry fairy!

She makes a gorgeous pink tulle dress with embroidered strawberries and fairy wings sewn to the back of it

And she made a headband with some poseable wiring and green cloth to look like strawberry leaves

Her shoes are some chunky pink mary jane “flats”

Also probably made strawberry charms to clip onto the straps

Has a basket full of strawberry candies that she passes out to everyone

Haley helped her do her makeup, and she’s got painted freckles on her cheeks to look like seeds

Altogether she’s the cutest fucking thing anyone has ever seen

Headcanons on how I think Morris and Pierre cope with the stresses of life because they both have so much on their shoulders and I HAVE IDEAS!!! [All these are based off my own gameplay with the SD Expanded mod and Marry Morris mod too]

(Just a little TW for alcohol and drug mentions.)

[Morris]

He totally drinks on the job in the privacy of his office when it's inventory day (or when the higher ups are visiting)

Won't drink enough to get drunk (he's a heavy weight) but enough to calm his nerves

When he can, he goes to the beach

The waves and calm breeze soothes him

Willy will sometimes have conversations with him on the docks

Towns reaction to initial cheating (Highlights)

Sam was disappointed in his friend. He thought you were cool! And you were so good to him. He couldn't have picked a better s/o for his friend. He stops talking to Seb as much, wouldn't talk to him at all if it weren't for the band. Doesn't consider him a friend anymore.

Abigail is also disappointed, but she gets it. She's lighter on Seb than Sam is.

He refuses to tell his family, so they don't even know, but they're so curious, especially Robin.

Rasmodious is PISSED. He noticed your behavior was off when you were bringing him some mushrooms he had requested, and had pulled the story out of you. He mumbled something about needing to protect those young girls in town from someone like him before sending you off. You noticed from here on he requested more random things from you, and when you'd deliver them he'd ask you how you are and would give you advice.

It was rough getting back into how things were before. You didn't enjoy farm life as much without Sebastian there. It just wasn't the same around town without him.

You had isolated yourself after he left. Sebastian wasn't close with many people in town, but Robin was. She was the local carpenter, and he was her son. Instead of hanging around town, you stayed at the farm, fearing judgement from the townsfolk.

Sebastian was living both at home and with his new partner. He could never get over the guilt of what he did to you, but damn could this new girl make him feel things he never thought he could, at least, she could in bed. Day to day life was different with her. She never woke him up with breakfast, coffee, or even a good morning.

As time went on, he found himself missing those moments more than he enjoyed great sex. He realized that's all she could do for him. He realized he had fucked up. She would never give him the little moments to cherish.

While things took a turn for the worse for Sebastian after the breakup, you had finally started to recover. It wasn't long after the breakup that you and Sam started to get closer. He reminded you of Sebastian in some ways, but he was so different in so many others.

You two got close, and you had the idea that he wanted to take it further than just friends, but you couldn't see yourself with someone so soon, and he seemed to respect that even without you needing to say it.

Sebastian eventually stopped spending so much time in the city. He broke things off with his new partner, learning from his previous mistakes, and started dwelling in the basement at Robins even more so than he used to.

The next major catastrophe happened when the band went to perform in front of Gus's. You had been avoiding their little gigs, not wanting to see Sebastian, but Sam had begged you to come. He performed little mini gigs at the farm for you by himself, but he couldn't be a one-man-band, they were still a band no matter the tension between members.

So you watched them perform. It was nice, Sebastian wouldn't even make eye contact with you but you didn't know if you could hold it if he did. No, the thing that made this a disaster was Robin. She has to know why you two broke up, no one would tell her anything!

The performance reaches it's end, and the band members start packing up their equipment to go. Despite this, Robin still stands in front of you, trying to decipher everything by any means possible.

She doesn't take the news well. She's so upset, and that's when Sebastian and Sam appear. Robin turns to scold her son for his actions, you don't do that to a person! He still can't make eye contact with you, but he can with Sam, especially after Sam pipes up, agreeing with Robin that his actions were nasty.

The two boys bicker until Abigail shows up to yell at them both. You notice the wizard also seems to be watching, though he's a bit further away. He had also helped you through your funk when Sebastian cheated, though in a different way from Sam. He offered you advice, and you took it. It sometimes felt like your grandfather was still around when the wizard was there, giving you the fatherly advice you need.

Abigail manages to shut them both up, and you can finally talk it out. You all agree to be civil from here on out, and Sebastian admits to realizing his mistakes, and that he missed you. Unsure if you can forgive him, you accept his apology.

Sam still seems peeved that you'd even talk to him, and tries to claim he's been here for you this whole time and Abigail shuts him up real fast.

So, farmer, it's up to you. Who would you choose?

Face Model: Sebastian from Stardew Valley + HC

Sebastian, with a neater hair.

Used to think he was just some pretty boy with some snark. Turns out to be one that could pull at heartstrings with his backstory and development.

Some HC:

Has always been drawn to anything tech. In a sense, he views it like how his mother views carpentry: as a way to create something out of nothing. He likes the many possibilities coding can bring, and is continuously learning to create new things.

While his coding skills have earned him some good gigs, he struggles to make his own dream project a reality. Is it a game that he wants to create? A functional app to help him and Sam tinker with their music? He has trouble deciding which project he should pour himself into.

While he doesn't like his step-dad, he has no hard feelings towards his step-sister. She treats him well, too, though it is Sebastian who can't help but compare himself to her and feel inferior each time.

Newcomers don't normally intrigue him, since they come and go. But the new Farmer is a bit different. He, for one, admires their enthusiasm to work on a project so daunting. Reviving a decrepit farm is no joke. After seeing their hard work paying off bit by bit, he feels compelled to do something he can be proud of too.

Shane pretends not to like it in part because he’s prickly when flustered (and affection always gets him flustered) and in part because he’s insecure with his body. But he wants to cuddle—please cuddle him. He’s not going to initiate but he really wants to be held. And when I tell you this man might just be the best cuddler out of all the bachelors? C‘mon.

G - gentle

I just wanna preface this by reminding everyone that Shane meets the farmer and promptly tells them to fuck off—he’s not gentle in his words and he’s certainly not gentle emotionally until he’s had some therapy. And even then, it’s really too direct and to the point to be called gentle (it’s very effective communication but only for the right partner)

Physically is another story—Shane is a gentle giant. He’s not that tall but he’s broad and big. He’s used to handling hollowed boned chicks and eggs, he’s very careful and deliberate with everything he does especially because he's so strong—it’d be easy to hurt somebody on accident.

H - hugs

Shane likes hugs, but with a romantic partner he prefers to be kissing them while hugging. This could be on the lips, the neck, or the cheek—he wants to be touching his love as much as possible. His hugs are encompassing and make you feel safe and protected.

Adventures of Elliot and Sam

sam was walking around the beach watching the beautiful sunset, looking for joja colas that had washed up on the shore

suddenly that was when he spotted a red headed angel, the sunlight glinting off her hair giving off a holy aura

and this drew his attention lower down her body to her ample bottom

sam wished he could see if the front was as blessed, but her luscious hair was in the way

he chased after her screaming "SHAWTY WAIT UP! SHAWTY!!"

the woman turned around, her forest green eyes meeting sam's baby blue ones

sam only spent a moment admiring her eyes before directing his gaze downwards to be disappointed by the absence of bazongas

"wahh??" sam stuttered feeling his hopes and dreams crash like the waves around him, "you're...a ladyboy?"

elliot laughed, "of course not. i'm not thai. i'm a man." he said pointing to his square chiseled jawline

sam's eyes well up with tears and elliot looked momentarily confused, but eventually grew disgusted when he saw snot drip onto the sand. then he sauntered away from the ratty blond man inspired to write some poetry in his cabin

Sam and Alex in Love with the Farmer: Part 2

I'm going to make short fics based off these because my God. When? No clue. But it will happen.

Sam

Sam freaking adores you. You catch him watching you all the time. Whether it be across the pool table, from the other side of his bed - anywhere. He just can't get enough of you and it's turning the butterflies in his stomach into mush.

He follows you everywhere. Jodi has to force him to make reminders to be at home on time because he just gets lost in conversation with you. You walk by his house on your way to Marnie's from Pierre's and he spots you through his window. No matter what he's doing, he'll run to his window, open it up, and try to start a conversation with you.

"Hey Y/N! What 'cha doing? Wanna come and hang out with me and Sebastian? We were just doing band stuff."

"[you tell him you have to leave.]"

"Aw man. Well, come by later!"

Sebastian gave him A Look after that.

God, the hugs this man gives. If you're comfortable with physical affection, he's all over you. Absolutely loves having his hand in yours or his arm around your shoulder. He'll make any excuse to hold your hand: temperature, balance, keeping at the same pace, etc. If he could he'd never let you go.

If you catch him at the right time, he'll let you style his hair. It's fun to make it take weird shapes. And considering its length, you can actually form it into some pretty cool things. His favourite by far was when you styled it into a crown. Also, he loves the feeling of your hands in his hair.

Practice kissing.

You two have fake dated for Jodi at least once. He came to you freaking out over an important family dinner - the first one since Kent came back - and how Jodi asked him to bring a date. Jodi, of course, meant a friend. But Sam didn't quite realise that and thought she meant a date date. So, totally not because he wants to go out with you and just because 'you're the first person I thought of,' he asks you.

"Y/N, you've gotta help me out. We're having this dinner for Dad and Mum said I need a date. I know this is awkward, but will you go with me?"

Jodi's heart almost melted when she saw you come in hand-in-hand with her son.

Alex

I do not care what you think about Alex this is my blog, so he is a GENTLEMAN. Have you seen his grandparents? Boy was raised since age whatever he moved there to be a goddamn Good Boy TM. And by that, I mean:

He walks you home. This is because A), you seem to constantly run head forward in danger; and B), because... it's cute? After his mother's passing, I feel he'd be very anxious about those he cares for getting hurt, so he does his best to make sure you're safe getting home. In fact, he does this everywhere. Walking to the mines? Alex is there. Walking to Marnie's? Alex is there. Just going to see Clint? Alex. Is. There.

"Hey farmer! Want me to walk you home? It's pretty dark out; don't want you getting hurt."

Like Sam, he loves physical affection. Though, he's a bit more awkward about it. That confident persona is a sham, and we all know it. Most of the time you'll have to initiate it by asking for a hug or just grabbing his hand. The one thing he will do is wrap his arm around your waist (considering he's been given permission to do so).

God, the compliments! He loves everything about you and wants you to know. He's definitely someone to worry about your self-esteem. He's had his own doubts and knows that just because you act confident doesn't mean you really are. So, he's always sure to tell you what he notices about you in the hopes of lifting your spirits, even if your self-esteem is fine.

"Hey farmer, did you do something with your hair? It looks really nice today!"

Evelyn and George are, as stated in my other post, well aware. I know I talked about it in my other post, but I want to again. As I said, you're at his house for dinner almost every night. Evelyn being the purest thing in the universe is all sweet about having you over. George being George is a little rougher around the edges but still he's a lot more obviously kind.

Sleepovers! It's usually at his house after the dinners with his family. You two share a bed or he takes a mattress on the floor. You two end up talking in hushed whispers the whole night until someone falls asleep. If you do share a bed, he'll probably end up hugging you.

He works on the farm. It's a great chance for him to show off and spend time with you. He does all the heavy lifting while you do the smaller, more tedious tasks. It's a great way to spend time together and see how pretty you are. He doesn't really care about the pay, either. He just gives it all to his grandparents. He earns his own money at the ice cream stand, anyway.

EDIT:

Anon reminded me that with the male farmer George doesn't quite come around. I want to say that my family dinner HCs take place in a situation where Evelyn has sort of changed George's mind about those things, but I understand it doesn't quite fit with canon. Sorry about that! Here's a little extra tibit:

At first, George isn't very accepting. He grew up in a very conservative environment in which LGBTQIA+ was not looked upon fondly. Sure, he's grown a little bit (as in he's not going to puke), but it's still an issue. You can see he's very awkward during dinners, though he does his best to be polite. He liked the both of you before you before Alex started being more forward with his feelings. He just doesn't know how to feel.

It's Evelyn that gets him to come around. It really upsets her to see her husband be so dismissive to something very important to Alex. So, on a night they're alone she has a talk with him. She explains it's perfectly normal to not be in a hetero relationship. She forces him to read some books about raising LGBTQIA+ children (a little outdated since Alex is an adult now, but it's the best they've got). Eventually, a disgruntled George realises that maybe his home life was a bit toxic and decides the best thing for him is what makes Alex happy.

I hope this fixes the issue. I never meant to make that mistake haha. If there's still something wrong, please let me know (examples would be helpful). I really want to make sure my work is accepting of everyone!
