(Fanfic Asks) Starfell!! Hello, dilf god!

1. Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?

Daydream! It's impossible for me to write when ideas come because uh *looks at 30+ idea list* it's not feasible... I find my writing easier to digest when imagining it first - cuz my daydream actually has narrations which I write down, funnily enough.

4. How do you choose which fics to write?

It really depends on the situation - but pretty much how easy it is to write? When I'm satisfied with what I thought up about it and I can do it in one sitting, I'll go ham and post it. So you'll see me alternating between proper fics and hcs/drabbles often because of this. And the absurd ideas get scraped because it's harder to work with.

fake dating — genshin hcs ⸝⸝

𖥻 synopsis: they ask you if you can pretend to be together for some reason, in reality they just really like you <3

ᜊ characters: tohma, yoimiya, childe, kaeya

though he’s very flirty with people even when they’re just friends he was hoping he’d be able to charm you so he didn’t have to go through the long process of wooing you

it was a pleasant star-filled night at dawn winery, the knights were celebrating some sort of victory which you couldn’t exactly focus on when THE kaeya alberich was being overly touchy with you

whilst the aroma of rich alcohol intoxicated the air, kaeya’s very drunk and hazy brain decided to ask you to start “fake-dating”, said it was because he was blabbing about having a lover last time at the bar

and you wouldn’t let your beloved friend be stuck in shame and embarrassment after people found out he made such a lie, would you?

you agreed since hey, he’s hot, you’re hot - no one would suspect anything plus you’ve been friends for quite a while

however, when he sobered up he never wanted to join his dad ever more so than now- i’m sorry for that joke — quietly sobbed in his office until returning to normal

now this whole fake dating thing just made kaeya more overly dramatic in his affection towards you like; emphasising special nicknames or terms of endearment, slinging an arm around your shoulder randomly or slipping his hands down your waist when you’re speaking with someone

it was all extremely sweet but that honey-like yearning trickled into starfell lake when he remembered it was all for show because of something his drunk self said

gives up with the whole ordeal after a couple of weeks, eventually managing to write you a letter that confessed his love to you and that it was real all this time he just refused to admit it

she invited you over to watch the firework festival with her! there’s nothing better than sharing her creations with the ones she loves most <3

made sure the spot reserved for you both held meaning and purpose, so she chose the place where both of you fatefully met - coincidentally it had a brilliant view of the show

the place was way decorated for it to pass off as a simple friendly get-together, at least that’s what the old folks in the town next to the place whispered on about

when the time of the festival came and she took you to that place the shock and happiness on your face was vivid with the way your mouth hang agape and your palms rested on your cheeks, before you could thank her, an old couple walked by and complimented you two claiming you were an extremely cute couple <33

yoimiya would never in millions of moons dare to shatter the hopes of people so she just smiled, nodded and never corrected them for misunderstanding the situation

you on the other hand could feel your face heat up like the flames over her vision, yet yoimiya looked unnaturally calm. finally, you both sat down next to each other and watched the wonderful array of fireworks that boomed into the sky with splashing vibrant colours

days pass by and the ongoing comments of your relationship with yoimiya spread around the town amongst the elders - it wasn't that you were unhappy since cmon it’s yoimiya but you just wished it was at least true

i mean it came kinda true lol- whilst she was preparing a new batch of fireworks for the next display, she finally spluttered out that she wants to pursue a ‘fake relationship’ to make the townspeople happy :’)

whenever you visited or walked by the town, they would always congratulate you, tell you to keep each other safe, to stay happy and sappy things like that

it was too much for yoimiya’s poor heart to handle, therefore the next step of the plan - yes this was all orchestrated by ayaka and tohma - was to genuinely confess preferably under that same special spot

which yoimiya did, though she was forced, her real confession came out rather jumbled but you got the general idea of her words, fake dating no more <33

absolute cheeky menace

claimed his entire plan was correlated with fatui work but the constant struggle to keep in a giggle when you were forced to call each other terms of endearment showed he was enjoying this too much for it to be professional

childe was finally back in his hometown in snezhnaya, trying to find some comfort in his family for a while before he heads off to the..abyss of the real cruel world once again

and he brought you along!! bc you guys are besties #4liferzz and his family loves you and you love them so it would be a shame to not go visit

they misjudged your guys’ relationship every time you came over to visit, so having to claim their judgment was correct for quite some time made the family smile telling you that he’s picked a real gem :))

one of the positives of the fake dating thing is that his family will share any and every embarrassing photo and or story of his with you

teucer would snitch to childe i hate kids bruh but he could never get vocally upset about it when he saw the complaisant smile that adorned your face, and the melodic sound of your laugh made his shame all the worth it

way too eager with the ideas of public affection, he’s faked multiple kisses with you before in front of his family to make the act all the more believable, even you couldn’t deny the fact your heart threatened to beat out of your chest if he did anything like that again

yes you were most definitely falling for him <3 he was already head over heels for you so seeing a glimpse of what you guys could be makes his heart flutter

you couldn’t bear to keep up the ‘fake’ dating act anymore after a small conversation you had with some of his siblings

they all praised you and thanked you for making their brother happy, they said he always talks about you with the biggest grin on his face <33

after a nice, heartwarming dinner with his family you shoved him aside to a private location where you wouldn’t be disturbed and you begged the tsaritsa quietly that you weren’t getting mis-signals

obviously you weren’t so when childe heard the words “i like you” come out of your pretty lips he couldn’t help but snatch you into a loving kiss <333

“i’m glad i didn’t have to drag this stupid ‘fake dating’ stuff out, but it was worth it just for this moment.” stupid idiot i love him

so let’s just say this all happened before he met traveler-

you were having another hotpot night with ayaka and tohma to celebrate the end of the week, a lot of laughs and smiles were shared among the three of you throughout the night

somehow the conversation tripped off to the topic of relationships and dating - which then lead tohma to asking you if you could fake date just for the experience

did it hurt? absolutely but you would do anything for your bestie =‘(

not much changed to be honest, tohma was a bit too flustered to act upon anything that even terms of endearment that used to be a normal thing for you two became more uncommon

this man literally loves you and he’s never wanted to drown in sakura sake for his own stupidity more than ever - why would he ask to fake date you instead of just asking you out -?/?!2!

it was better than nothing (_ _’) but he just wanted more than light hand touches and short lovesick gazes at one another during lunch and you were more than happy to give it to him :)

tohma couldn’t handle his harboured feelings any longer than 3 weeks, so after that time period he abruptly confessed his love to you during dinner <3

Venti loves singing to you and you love hearing it. Often when days are tough or you’re unable to sleep, without pulling his lyre out, he begins to softly sing into the night/ day, watching as you relax in his arms. If you’re out in the open, you’ll both usually be sitting underneath the shade of the giant tree in Windrise, gazing upon one of the Statues of Seven and there he begins to sing. Expect taking lots of naps under there too.

he loves adventuring with you. One day he’ll wake you both early enough and walk with you to the giant Barbatos statue near the Cathedral and get you up there (safely of course, that’s his main priority that you’re okay). The sun will barely begin to rise as you both sit on the statues hands, watching the sunrise slowly come up. He’s seen this for about his whole life. And as an archon, he’s done it alone for so many years but it never gets old. Especially when he sees the look of awe on your face, mouth parted as your eyes sparkled. You’re the best view now.

With adventuring, he’ll take you anywhere. Sometimes he’ll take you to liyue to see his old friend, Morax or as he now goes by Zhongli. It’s always a fun sight to see two archons bicker with one another but nonetheless enjoy each other’s company. Other times you’ll take long walks through Mondstadt. To Starfell Lake (where you’ll get in the water and have fun, splashing and what not) or to Star Snatch cliff to star gaze.

Before continuing any further, him telling you that he was the Anemo Archon was hard for him. He didn’t want you to question the things he had done from stories passed on— plus wouldn’t it feel odd knowing you’re dating your own god? When he tells you, you think he’s drunk at first and laugh it off but the look on his face just shows how serious he was. With talking, he explained everything but one thing remained on his mind; your life. You aren’t immortal like he was, BRU he decided to keep it to himself for the time being.

If you ask him to make mini wind currents in his hands, he most definitely will. The ends of his braids will glow into a turquoise color, his eyes lighting up as well but the best thing about this is when you let out a laugh once the wind current dies out.

he sometimes takes bottles of wine from Angel’s Share without the workers knowing..or sometimes even diluc but the red haired man knows but doesn’t have the energy to chase after him. Expect many dates on the roofs of many houses in Mondstadt as he plays for you until the sun arises.

He’s very very affectionate 🥺 he won’t hesitate to show any display of affection like holding you close or holding your hands and isn’t afraid to smother you in kisses. BUT, if it’s not your thing, he won’t pressure you either!! He’ll hold your pinkie if that’s all you want to do
