I've been doing this blog for 9 years. Since 2014. A lot has happened. I lost my virginity. Moved out of my parents house. Fell in love. Got fired from the library. Switched careers. Moved in with girlfriend. Joined a startup. Start up went under. Came out to my sibling, my mom, and Facebook. In that exact order!

Nothing went wrong with this. I ran it exactly as I wanted to. It just doesn't make me happy anymore. All of you have been great and I love reading what you wrote. But i feel this is the end of the blog for me. I want to try other creative nerdy things online. Like the podcast or write my short stories. This is just me riding into the sunset as I say goodbye to you wonderful weird folk!

Edit (Update): I do use a platform called Mastodon which is an open source, federated & decentralized (similar to WordPress). I wonder if Tumblr will move in that direction. For what it’s worth my instance or server at Mastodon is:

One thing I do love about Tumblr is that I can use it upon my own domain & I currently maintain two active Tumblrs (I have started many in the past).

I also love it’s easy writing format. It’s much easier than most other blogging platforms (or even most social platforms as well).
