ART DUMP FOR NOVEMBER!

1st pic - Just some art of Dr. Bloom. For those unaware on my tumblr, he’s the big zombie uncle mf I made for sonic.exe bs. I haven’t drawn him in a while and this was actually I think my first time drawing him on paper. I like how the right one came out lol

2nd pic - Starved, I love drawing this character they are fucking cool. The middle one is actually a design I sorta came up with as a design for stuff in the same universe Bloom inhabits. I wanted the two to have distinctly different shapes.

3rd pic - Uboa practice

4th & 5th pic - EXE Slayer art. I’m still getting used to drawing them, for those unaware I took ownership of the character from Cubic after a ungodly awful person not only was like stalking them but making some of the grossest shit of exe slayer imaginable. 

The last design there was actually me sort of brainstorming how exe slayer would look in a sort of hideous destructor style lol, was just having fun.

My whole life I've wanted to work in entertainment. I've loved makeup and music and filmmaking for so long. I thought I was really going to do something in this industry.

But between thinking about Infinity Train disappearing, Mermaid High getting discontinued, the lack of SZA music, the Dirk Gently's shit, Starved's ending, and Neo Yokio being where it is, plus my health getting worse... I'm loosing hope. These things tell me that:

Infinity Train - your art can be taken away from you in an instant

Mermaid High - designers will always be limited by their employers, especially outside the 2 main doll companies

SZA - you can't make music because if your self doubt doesn't stop you, your label will

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency - it takes one shitty person to ruin it for everyone else

Starved - your story has to be consumable to everyone or it will be cut

Neo Yokio - see Starved, also that people will misrepresent your vision, and creative freedom is a pipedream

Health problems - it's getting even harder to even find a job that won't physically hurt

I'm so fucking sick of watching these beautiful art forms be stifled by the companies funding them. I want so badly to make art, but shit like this makes me feel like it's not worth trying. Why am I trying to enter such a difficult industry when all my biggest inspirations couldn't survive it?
