I’ve so deeply managed to convince myself that there’s going to be a TBB sequel series, really setting myself up for disappointment here

#‘This part of the story’ #if there is it will most likely be announced at SWC 2025. The only reason tbb was announced on a random day was because it was 2020 #there’s just too much left for 16 episodes #the rex series thing was just unfounded speculation but something focusing on him rescuing clones could lead into the clone rebellion #though I’d much rather it be echo centric if they did something like that #here I am assuming any sequel would be animated…look what they’ve done to rebels #We might have heard more already if r/starwarsleaks hadn’t tightened their rules on rumours

I’ve seen these before but given all the quotes from yesterday I’m no longer optimistic about this happening and that really, really upsets me.

Him playing Rex was the one thing I really really wanted out of the Ahsoka show. And I’m extremely worried it won’t happen now.

I will literally lose my fucking mind in the most angry disrespectful way possible if we don’t get him back in Star Wars. Like seriously I was already pretty upset with how lackluster this season was and now to hear that they’re thinking of fucking around with what shows matter and what shows don’t. Like fuck off.

Disney has quite literally unlimited resources. If you’re going to do it, do it right and do right by EVERY CHARACTER AND EVERY ACTOR WHAT THE FUCK

What are the TotJ leaks in and how do they fuck with continuity? I'm not dialed in to this stuff at all

They're all collected on r/StarWarsLeaks if you're interested in reading them yourself but basically, the leaks claim TOTJ contradicts Cavan Scott's Dooku: Jedi Lost audio drama and E K Johnston's Ahsoka novel. The former follows Dooku's life right up until he leaves the Jedi order, the latter is a story about Ahsoka surviving in the early days of the Empire.

Both pieces are supposed to be canon, but it looks like Dave Filoni has been allowed to disregard them in favour of his own stories.

Ahsoka fans are mad because the leaks claim TOTJ erases the relationship between Ahsoka and a girl called Kaeden (I haven't read it myself but apparently Kaeden has feelings for Ahsoka).

Dooku fans are mad because Jedi Lost came out just three years ago?? If the leaks are true then there's gonna be like, three different ways Dooku has left the Jedi order, and two of them are supposed to be canon???

I can’t see them possibly giving Sabine a het love interest (or ahsoka for that matter but I can’t see them giving her a lady love interest either)

Maybe we’ll see some implications of lesbianism from Sabine. It wouldn’t shock me terribly if one of the villains was gay in like, a semi sympathetic way (“I’m evil bc I’m sad about my dead witch gf” or whatever) or doctor aphra shows up in a glorified commercial for her show (coming eventually I think)

omg im just seeing this but whats the all bisexual star wars book!! i have not really kept up with new canon as much recently. i read aftermath when it came out and i loved it i know it was like weirdly divisive but i thought those were great ass books. sinjir rath velus and MISTER BONES my beloveds

interested in this kids book as well. i just listened to the padawan audiobook by kiersten white and it wasn't great but i dont know if im just too old for it. when you said a boy and a girl all i could think of was the galaxy of fear books with tash and zak from like the 90s that i used to read as a kid and how they always gave me the worst gross vibes in the world but i still ate them up like what was in those things.

i would love if aphra showed up but i feel like we wouldve seen something on r/starwarsleaks by now but who can say!! it does seem like if they did anything it would be a dead wife of a villain or something they love to do that sort of thing

Nothing spoilerly here, just some random gameplay.

Cal's got some new impressive force abilities, and the dual lightsaber moves are considerably smoother then in Fallen Order. I'm sure it won't be explained in-game, but Cal seems to have had some training with them in-between games.
