Hi all! I wanted to compile what we know of the locations frequented in 9-1-1 in a visual manner to give us a better sense of where characters live in relation to each other and the firehouse (more on that later).
First and foremost, I could not have done this without @monsterfuckerdiaz and @liesoverthec - their invaluable research made this possible.
Here is a visual snapshot of where Chim/Maddie, Eddie, Bobby/Athena, and Buck reside:
Disclaimer: Some distances and times are approximations (~) based on neighborhood and traffic. This is LA so a mile can take 30 minutes depending on time of day or location (side eyeing Buck’s loft in Downtown LA).
Observations and analysis under the cut.
Hen/Karen - As you can see there is no discernable address for them, so using my powers of deduction, I’ve concluded that their house must be in the pink quadrant highlighted on the map. They obviously live in a residential area and more likely than not, near Athena.
Station 118 - This address was another shot at my powers of deduction. Based on everyone’s locations + calls they take (typically residential, but also in downtown LA) it seems this location fits the bill. In real life, this is Station 26 - 2009 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90018 and when you look at pictures from the outside, could be Station 118 was modeled after it.
Chimney/Maddie - Their address is: 2385 S Orlando Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90035, Apt. 2B. There is a North Orlando and a South, but based off what we saw of the outside in 5x04, South Orlando seems like the more plausible address.
Madney live 20-25 minutes from the Firehouse [ 4.5 miles ]. There is another station closer to their apartment (about 10 minutes) but it makes sense it is not the 118, because in Breaking Point when considering a home birth, Chim mentions the closest firehouse but doesn’t address it as the 118.
In relation to everyone else, Madney live:
8-10 minutes from Eddie [ 1.8 miles ]
~20-25 minutes from Bathena [ ~3.3 miles ]
~30-35 minutes from Buck [ ~6.1 miles ]
Bobby/Athena - Their neighborhood is on: Fallsgrove St, Los Angeles, CA 90016. This is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. What is interesting is that it’s just west of Crenshaw, which Athena has referenced as being familiar with in 2x01.
Bobby lives 20-25 minutes from the Firehouse [ ~4.6 miles ]. We don’t really have an address of where he lived before, but since he moved in with Athena, my guess is that it put him further away. To put it in perspective, it seems like the Police Station Athena would work at is 6 minutes away, unless she works at the LAPD Headquarters which is in Downtown LA, about 30 minutes away.
In relation to everyone else, Bathena live:
~10-15 minutes from Eddie [ ~2.2 miles ]
~15-20 minutes from Madney [ ~3.3 miles ]
~20-25 minutes from Buck [ ~7.4 miles]
Eddie - Based on the show his address is: 4995 S Bedford St, Los Angeles, CA 90034, Apt.403. I say based on the show, because when looking at street view on Google Maps, S Bedford makes sense, but not the house number. They probably just changed it for the show. Reyneir Park is right down the street from his house.
Eddie lives about 15-20 minutes from the Firehouse [ 5.2 miles ]. The same firehouse I referenced for Chimney is 10-15 minutes away from Eddie. Not sure if we can assume this would be the infamous Station 6 or, Station 126 since they are the closest to the Santa Monica Pier and would’ve responded to the emergency prior to the Tsunami in 3x02.
In relation to everyone else, Eddie lives:
8-10 minutes from Madney [ 1.8 miles ]
~10-15 minutes from Bathena [ ~2.4 miles ]
~20-25 minutes from Buck [ ~7.2 miles ]
Buck - The neighborhood we have for Buck is on: W 7th St, Los Angeles, CA. This obviously puts Buck’s loft downtown in Westlake and based off the overview we saw in 5x04, the point on the map best represents that. A couple of observations specifically for Buck:
He lives the furthest away from everyone. It’s heartbreaking to think, when seen visually, that his distance is a representation of how he feels like he’s not a part of a family. Of course, he could’ve just picked a bachelor pad in Downtown for aesthetics sake, but considering when he rented it - midway through season 2 while with Ali - I think it best represents where he was mentally in relation to the rest of the Firefam. Or, he may have wanted to just be near the only family that he had, which is Maddie.
Brings me to my next point, prior to Maddie moving in with Chim, she could’ve lived closer to Buck considering the Dispatch Center is in Glendale and about 20 minutes from that general area. At the moment, where she lives, she has the longest commute out of everyone, about 45 minutes.
Buck lives about 10-15 minutes from the Firehouse [ ~3.4 miles ]
In relation to everyone else, Buck lives:
~20-25 minutes from Eddie [ ~7.5 miles ]
~20-25 minutes from Bathena [ ~7.2 miles]
~30-35 minutes from Madney [ ~6.1 miles ]
So there you have it! If we ever find Hen and Karen’s house/neighborhood, I’ll come back and update this. For now though, I hope this proves helpful.

Evan Buckley x Reader Imagine
Prompt: "Stay with me. Don't close your eyes."
WARNINGS: mentions of car wreck involving DUI driver
Hurt, Angst, Trauma/Healing, Fluff
Later that week, you had run out of groceries and needed to do some shopping before Buck got home. Seeing that you boyfriend was working a double shift today, after the earthquake had hit L.A.
You grabbed your jacket and purse along with the keys to your truck and the grocery list that you had just finished. You locked the apartment door behind you and made your way to your truck.
During the drive to the market to buy groceries, you had the green light, and as soon as you began to drive, someone slammed into your side of your truck, causing you truck to flip several times.
All you could hear was people screaming, and voices all around you as you faded in and out of consciousness. Your head was bleeding, you were pinned under your crushed truck, and you saw people kneeling, trying to free you.
Buck was playing video games with Hen when the bell rang, signaling a car. "We got a car wreck down on Main Street. A drunk driver collided with a red, Dodge Ram." Bobby alerted the team.
But little did the 118 know, that it was you that had been hit by the drunk driver.
When the 118 arrived on scene, Buck hopped out, and the minute he saw you, laying pinned under your truck, his heart stopped beating. The next thing he knew, he was trying to get you out because your truck had been leaking gas.
"Hey! Hey! Y/N! Stay with me, baby! Don't close your eyes!" Buck begged you as the crew worked fast to get you out.
Once they cut you out, they slipped a C-Brace on your neck and got you onto a backboard.
Buck never left your side. You were rushed to the hospital. You knew Buck was there but all you could do was squeeze his hand lightly. "B-buck." You managed to get out, in a raspy voice.
"You're going to be fine. You got this, Y/N." Buck brought your hand to his lips, gently kissing it.
The pain had become too much for you and you passed out just as Hen arrived at the hospital.
Doctors and Nurses rushed out, wheeling you in on a gourney. They rushed you into the OR for immediate surgery. Due to the stint of your injury, you suffered a spinal cord injury, a severe concussion, amongst numerous of bruising and swelling around your head and your lower spine. Along with some broken ribs, and a broken wrist.
Days after your surgery, you were completely zonked out still from the anesthesia. Buck was sitting beside your bed.
Bobby and Athena stopped by to check on you and also to check on Buck. "Hey, Buck, how is Y/N?" Bobby asked.
"Not too well. Y/N slipped into cardiac arrest twice since coming out of surgery. They had to intubate Y/N." Buck sighed, running his fingers through his messy hair, still in his uniform.
"Why don't you go and get some rest Buck? Me and Bobby will stay with Y/N awhile. You need sleep, kid, and food." Athena spoke quietly.
Buck stood up. "Are you sure? I don't mind staying."
"Go, Buck, you need rest and food. And also a shower. We will call you if anything changes."
After Buck left, Eddie and Chris stopped by. "Hey, any news?" Eddie asked Bobby.
"No, Y/N is still out of it." Bobby said, smiling towards Chris. "Buck should be back later this evening, we told him to go home, get a few hours of sleep, some food, and a shower."
Maddie swung by with Chimney just as Buck walked in. "Hey, Maddie, Chimney." Buck greeted his sister and Chim.
"How are you doing?" Maddie hugged her brother.
"Scared. Worried. I can't stop worrying about Y/N. What if Y/N dies?" Buck rambled.
"Hey, Y/N is a fighter. I know Y/N will pull through this." Maddie walked into the ICU with Buck.
You were awake. Looking around at everyone with the tube down your throat still.
"Hey baby, you're awake." Buck smiled, kissing your head.
You tried to smile but couldn't.
A week later, you got moved home where Carla was taking care of you and Chris since she offered. Buck and Eddie had agreed to let Chris stay over at Buck's with you while the two men worked their shifts.
After Buck and Eddie finished their shifts, they arrived back to Buck's apartment and Buck let them in. "Carla? Whe-" Before Buck could finish, Carla shushed Buck. "Come here." She smiled, motioning for Eddie and Buck.
You were fast asleep with Chris asleep against you. You had your arms over him protectively as the two of you slept.
Eddie took in the sight. He chuckled. Then looked over at Buck.
Buck grinned. "Carla? Did you get a few pictures?" Buck asked.
"Yeah, I did. I just sent them to you both." Carla whispered.
"So, cute." Eddie chuckled, taking a seat, watching the two sleep.
Buck grabbed a drink from his fridge. "Glad to see them both resting." He laughed quietly.

A/N: This is my first 9-1-1 fic!! I hope you guys like it! This is a submission for my darling Jill @anxiousblanketqueen ‘s birthday extravaganza! We have been going so feral over Eddie and Buck for the past week or so and I wanted to try my hand at an Eddie fic, so here goes nothing! (if you follow me for Hotch content, you can find those fics on my blog dedicated specifically for him, @ssahotchswife if you are 18+) Thanks for reading!
Why in the hell, did he let you convince him to follow this bet. Eddie Diaz was a grown ass man, one who didn’t like being told what to do by anyone but his boss in a professional setting. Unfortunately, he was also a grown ass man who woke up with some pretty serious knots in his back when you insisted on having him at your place instead of letting him host you at his perfectly fine house. Every time he woke up in your bed, Eddie couldn’t believe that you, an E.R. nurse, could come home after a long shift and crawl into that bed and get a refreshing night’s sleep. You always claimed that you thought the mattress was comfortable, but Eddie had to wonder if that was just your crazy stubbornness making you disagree with him simply because he had the audacity to say you needed a better mattress.
“I’m buying you a new mattress.” His words had been muffled by the pillow he had shoved his head into.
“With what extra money, Mr. Firefighter?” You’d grinned, kissing Eddie’s shoulder.
“Fine,” He’d said, rolling over on to his side and propping his head up on his elbow to look at you. “But we’re not doing this at your place anymore, (y/n). My back can’t take it.”
You had been friends-with-benefits for about three months now, and Eddie was pretty sure if you had started a relationship the normal way he’d be over-the-moon in love with you by now. As it was, he was only at the stage of being in love with you where he felt like he was missing an arm when you weren’t near him. So, he thought he was doing pretty well.
When you’d first started sleeping together, neither of you had been looking for a relationship, you had just been dumped from a five-year relationship and Eddie’s wife had just died, but you both needed sex. And, as it happened, when you hooked up after the housewarming party at Buck’s house that you’d been at as a friend of Maddy’s, you both realized that you had amazing sex together. It was the perfect arrangement, you both got sex and fun from one another, without the responsibilities and strings of a relationship. Then he’d started developing feelings for you. Feelings he had yet to share with you. He had a sinking feeling that if he told you how he was feeling, you’d get scared and end things, and he wasn’t willing to give you up just so he could say “I love you” out-loud instead of in his head.
Still, the bet was killing him. It was another argument over who’s place you were going to stay at for the night, Eddie had ended up at yours and complained the whole time that he was sleeping on the couch so he didn’t have to sleep in your death trap of a bed. The glare you’d given him was one for the record books, at least that’s what he told you when he snapped a picture of it with his phone. The picture ended up blurry because you moved to shoot him an obscene finger gesture.
“You are so dramatic, Eddie,” You’d rolled your eyes. “My bed isn’t that bed. Besides, you always seem to be pretty eager to jump into my bed after me.”
“It’s not the crappy memory foam mattress that’s making me climb onto this slab of concrete,” He’d smirked at you. “It’s the beautiful naked lady begging for my attention.”
“Flattery will do nothing to make me agree to sleepovers at your house 100% of the time.”
“Well, how can we decide this?”
“I have an idea,” You’d grinned. “I don’t think you’re going to like it.”
“What is it?” He’d asked warily.
“A bet,” At his raised eyebrow you’d elaborated. “We go two weeks without cumming – not by each other, not by ourselves, and obviously no one else – two weeks without an orgasm, and whoever doesn’t cave first gets to pick where we sleep for sleepovers for the next two months.”
“Two weeks?” Eddie had asked incredulously.
“What, think you can’t go two weeks without me making you cum?”
Eddie had ignored your cocky grin. “So, when I win,” You rolled your eyes at his words. “You’ll sleep at my place for the next two months-worth of sleepovers?”
“Absolutely,” You’d nodded, holding out your hand to him. “And when I win, you get two months of my beautiful studio apartment. No orgasms until midnight in two weeks, do we have a deal?”
The minute he shook your hand, he had cemented his fate. He really didn’t think it was going to be that hard to go two weeks without having an orgasm, but he was so wrong. Sure, he was busy, but everything seemed to turn him on now. You’d texted him once when Eddie was on shift and said you were going to take a shower, and he swore he felt his cock twitch in his pants at the thought.
He’d made the mistake of having you over when Christopher was sleeping at a friend’s house one night the weekend before. You were there just to hangout and drink beer and watch a movie. That didn’t stop either of you from ignoring the movie entirely and making out the entire time. A huge part of him, and he wasn’t that ashamed of the part either, was focused on the way you were grinding on him trying to make you cum. If you just came right then and there, he could hoist you over his should and go into the bedroom and pound you all night, but you were stubborn and competitive and stopped yourself from orgasming in your pants, much to Eddie’s dismay.
The rest of the team had to be suspicious about why he was so irritable these days, Eddie was pretty sure that was why they started planning a day at the beach. Bobby was bringing Athena and the kids, Hen had Karen and Denny coming, Buck was coming solo but leaving with Christopher who was excited for his night of fun with Buck more so than the beach day. Chim and Maddy had invited you, one of Maddy’s best friends, and you had been more than happy to agree. Eddie was excited to spend a fun casual day with so many people he cared about, but the day of the beach day was the last day of the bet, and he was going to be counting down the minutes until he could finally make you whimper and moan for him again.
On the morning of the beach trip, Eddie got a text from you saying you bought a new swimsuit for this day. He texted back that he couldn’t wait to see it, and tried to control himself, forcing himself not to think about you in a swimsuit so he wouldn’t be late because he was too busy stroking himself to notice the time. Not that he could even find the time to fantasize about you like that when he had to get himself and Christopher situated for the day. Well, maybe he could a little bit.
At the beach, Eddie and Christopher were the last of the group to show up because Eddie forgot to pack a drink for Christopher, so they stopped at a gas station to get three bottles of lemonade; one for Christopher, one for Eddie, and one for you. The group was set up around a picnic table, you were helping Maddy and Chim set out the food they’d brought. To his disappointment, Eddie noticed you were wearing a coverup still and he couldn’t see your new swimsuit.
“Hey,” Chim exclaimed, giving Christopher a high-five. “You guys made it.”
“Daddy let us stop for lemonade,” Christopher grinned, moving to sit next to Buck at the table. Buck smiled at Eddie before nudging his kid with his shoulder. “Buck, I brought my game for us to play tonight.”
“Alright!” Buck grinned.
Christopher had been talking about his sleepover with his best bud Buck all week, and Eddie couldn’t be happier that Buck was available to hang out with his kid. Eddie was so grateful that Buck was so sweet to his son, and he knew Buck loved his kid, which made it an easier to have Buck watch him when Eddie was in desperate need of a night with you; and god was he desperate for you now.
“Hey, stranger,” You smiled at him when he dropped the drinks into the cooler next to you. “Long time no see.” The two of you hadn’t seen each other in person since last weekend when you’d made out on his couch. Eddie knew if you were alone together he’d be spending the next two months on your sheet rock of a bed. He felt the missing you flare up in him as he stood next to the woman he loved for the first time in what felt like forever.
“It’s been a crazy week.”
“Mhm,” You grinned. “You sure it has nothing to do with the fact that you don’t want to lose this bet?”
“Absolutely not,” He lied with a smile. “By the way, I thought you were going to be debuting a new swimsuit today.”
“I have it on,” You laughed. “It’s just under my coverup, which I’ll take off when we start going in the water or playing volleyball or something.”
“Hey, guys, anyone want to start a game of volleyball?” Eddie called over the sounds of you laughing.
Chim, Maddy, and you on one team, and Eddie, Bobby, and Hen on the other team, you all made your way to the court set up down the beach a little ways. Eddie was anxiously awaiting the moment when you’d peel that coverup off your body and he could see the bare expanse of your skin. The moment it happened was when you reached the edge of the court, you kicked off your flip flops and pushed the cover up to the ground beside them. It was like the air had been sucked straight out of his lungs at the sight of you.
The swimsuit was yellow with white little polka dots and hung to your skin beautiful. Your breasts, while partially covered by the material of the suit, sat full in the cups. Eddie wanted to reach out cup them to see your nipples harden and poke through the thin material of the suit. He was so obviously staring, but he couldn’t help it, his mouth was watering at how delectable you looked. The thought that in a few minutes you’d be jumping to hit the ball had him forcing himself to look away or he’d have to hide an erection any second.
“We ready to get this started?” Chim asked.
Hen was the first to serve, and you jumped on your side of the net to hit the ball. When you did, your breasts bounced in the top of your suit and it almost brought Eddie to his knees. He literally couldn’t focus on the game when he was salivating at the sight of you. Somehow, he really wasn’t sure how, Eddie scored the winning point of the game. He couldn’t lie, he was glad the game was over, it just meant he was that much closer to getting you alone.
After having some lunch, everyone headed for the water, except Bobby, Athena, and Maddy who were building sandcastles with Christopher and Denny. Eddie could see the grin on Christopher’s face all the way from the water, and knowing he was safe with Bobby and the others he let his eyes wander to you sitting on Buck’s back as he walked you through the waves. He felt his stomach tighten with jealousy at the sight of you pressed that close to his best friend, and he tried to shake it off, but it was too much with you looking so sexy and dripping from the ocean. There was nothing to be worried about, Buck knew how Eddie felt about you, but he couldn’t help but want to push his head under the water get you two to separate.
“Buck, can I ride on your back now?” Harry asked.
“Sure thing, buddy,” Buck grinned, letting you untangle yourself from him.
Buck slung Harry onto his back, and you made your way over to Eddie. The cold water made goosebumps on your skin, and made your nipples poke through the cups of your swimsuit.
“You’re staring,” You grinned.
“Hard not to.”
“I know what you’re thinking,” You said, glancing around to see if anyone was watching.
“Just say the word and we can get out of here, (y/n),” Eddie said. “Buck’s taking Christopher home with him in like twenty.”
“Well,” You said, shifting closer to him and letting your hand drift along his thigh under the water. “Let’s leave when they do.”
Eddie was practically counting down the seconds until you were in the passenger seat in his truck, wrapped in your towel and singing along with some pop song on the radio. It was nearly five o’clock, and Buck wasn’t dropping Christopher off until ten the next morning, so Eddie had seventeen hours with you to make up for the last two weeks. He just had to be sure that you came first, he was not losing this bet.
You had barely crossed the threshold into the house before you pounced on him, wrapping your arms around his neck and your legs around his waist. Eddie didn’t care that you were still dripping, in fact he kind of liked it, as he carried you into his bedroom and tossed you onto the bed, climbing on top of you after.
“I know exactly what you’re doing, Eddie,” You panted, arching into him when he kissed your neck. “It’s not going to work.”
“Mmm,” Eddie hummed, kissing between your breasts and feeling your legs tighten around his waist. “Seems like it’s already working. What do you think I’ll find between these pretty little thighs? Maybe something that’ll show me just how much you’ve been aching for this for two long weeks.”
“Oh,” You gasped when he ran his finger along your pussy through your swimsuit.
“You like that?” He asked. You whimpered, nodding as he kissed down your body.
“Eddie,” You breathed, untying the swimsuit around your neck and letting Eddie help you out of it. “God. I’ve wanted you so bad these last two weeks.”
“How bad?” He grinned up at you, kissing your inner thighs.
“So bad I almost came to the firehouse when we were both on lunch break on Wednesday to jump you and put a stop to this bet once and for all.”
You moaned loudly when Eddie leaned forward and licked a line up your slit to your clit. Your fingers sunk into his hair, tugging softly on the strands as he licked you like he was dehydrated. The sounds of your moans and little gasps spurred him on, and the whimper you made when he pressed two fingers into your entrance only made his cock that much harder.
“You’re cheating,” You panted. “I don’t have access to the part of you that cums.”
“So, you’re not enjoying this?”
“Don’t stop,” You gasped. “Eddie, I’m – I’m going to –”
“Let go, sweet girl,” He purred against your center. “Cum on my fingers.” And then you did just that. Your walls clenched around his fingers as you moaned through your release. Eddie pulled his fingers out of you and climbed back up your body to kiss your lips. “I win.” He grinned.
“You don’t play fair,” You breathed, pulling him back down for another kiss. “But thank god the bet’s over.”
“God, I couldn’t agree more,” Eddie agreed, dropping his head to suck your nipple into his mouth. “I need you.” You laughed breathlessly, and Eddie wanted to drown in the sound. He was so in love with you, and all he wanted was to tell you how much he loved you. Part of him just wanted to blurt it out, but he stopped himself.
“Then fuck me already.”
Eddie didn’t need any more convincing before he pulled back from you and shoved his shorts to the ground. Grabbing a condom from the jar on the dresser, he sheathed it on his rock-hard cock, stroking himself a few times. He pulled you by the ankles to the edge of the bed, grinning at the squeal you let out. When he lined himself up with your entrance, he glanced at you, waiting for the reassuring nod that you sent his way before he thrust deep into you.
“Fuck,” Eddie groaned, pumping into you.
“God, Eddie,” You moaned. “I missed this.”
“Me too,” He panted. “So fucking much.”
It had been so long without you, that he wasn’t sure he could last much longer, so as he slammed his hips into you he reached down to circle your clit with his fingers. You were moaning his name over and over again, and he knew the minute you tipped over the edge when you yelled out his name.
“Eddie!” You exclaimed, your walls clenching around him tightly.
“(Y/n),” Eddie groaned, pumping into you a few more times before he too was pushed over the edge into orgasm. “God, I love you.” The words flew out of his mouth before he could stop them. You froze beneath him, staring up at him with wide eyes, and an open mouth.
“W-what?” You asked. “You love me?”
“(Y/n), that’s – that’s not –”
“Eddie Diaz, do you love me?” He nodded silently, swallowing nervously. “Please, answer me, it’s very important.”
“Yes,” He breathed, pulling out of you and sinking to sit on the bed next to where you were laying. “I know we agreed on just sex and fun, but, (y/n), you’re just so great. I mean, you’re fun, and you’re funny, and you’re beautiful, and when I’m not with you it’s like all I do is sit and think of something to text you or call you about just to talk to you.” You sat up, kneeling on the bed next to him.
“Eddie, please look at me,” You said. When he did, he saw you smiling at him and the sight nearly killed him. “You really love me?”
“So much so I think it may kill me.”
“Thank god,” You laughed, leaning in to kiss him briefly. “Eddie, I am so in love with you. I’ve been trying so hard not to tell you for weeks now, because I didn’t want to scare you off, but I love you so so much, Eddie Diaz.”
Eddie stared at you with wide eyes for a moment, not sure he could believe what you were saying, before jumping to action and jumping on you. You squealed with laughter as he pulled you into his arms and sprinkled kisses all along your face, neck, and collarbones.
“You won the bet,” You giggled. “I guess we’re staying here for the foreseeable future?”
“We can sleep at your place next time,” Eddie murmured, kissing the side of your head.
“Ugh, no,” You laughed, the sound like honey. “Let’s stay here, my bed sucks. Yours is so comfy.” You snuggled up into his side.
“Are you kidding me?”
“You’re just so cute when we bicker,” You grinned up at him. “And I’m very competitive.”
“And I love you for it,” He smiled, kissing you again. “Your competitiveness, your stubbornness, and the fact that you like to bicker, they all make me love you even more.”
“Well that’s good,” You said. “Because I love you, more than you know.”
Eddie would never get tired of hearing you say that. You repeated those three words over and over as you kissed him, and Eddie knew it was the perfect way to end to a fantastic day at the close of the longest two weeks of his life. Now that he had the woman he loved in his arms, he was never letting you go again.

Buck x Y/N
Before season 3 starts:
I purposely leave the description up for intreptation becuase we all have different views on what is beautiful, remember beauty is subjective.
-Athena shows up at the 118 to talk to Bobby about you and if meeting the lonely Buckaroo would be good for both.
-You had gotten a job offer from LA County as a historian and photo/video documentarian for the fires ravaging the west coast and those who lay down their lives.
-They both agree a welcoming party would be the best option to introduce you to the station and co. after you had settled in a few days after arriving. Having pre-arranged a short stay with them while looking for affordable housing.
-You could tell that Bobby and Athena enjoyed having more bodies in the house to feed and care for in her bulldog way and Bobby wouldn't ever admit to enjoying having someone who was his late daughter's age. It helped fill the void that never leaves, even as you bury the dead.
-Athena was in the middle of pulling food out of the oven and Bobby was manning the grill, so you were left to open the door seeing a tall attractive man at the doorway. Inviting him in, learning his name is Evan, you choose not to notice him missing the last step down to the living area.
-Stuttering about beers, a blush dusting his cheeks, Buck rushes off to grab you an Ale and his choice, not noticing the 118 slowly beginning to notice the youngest Buckley acting a slight fool for the young woman. ----You and Buck end up sitting in a quieter part of the garden, getting to know each other and their interests.
-Buck can only stare in awe as you tell him about your growing up in a heavily forested area and learning how to properly manage, enjoy and prolong the life of the remaining untouched areas within the US.
-Over the course of the party, you and Buck talked animatedly about themselves and interesting job stories (Buck mostly).
-Your ankles were intertwined with his at this point, the sun starting its descent into warming the other side of the world and welcoming the moon's glow. Buck at this point has his hand on your thigh, softly rubbing your jean-clad thigh with his calloused thumb, nodding and watching entranced with your story about the difference between Cenotes and Grottos and how you have almost been kicked off a tour for arguing with the guide over the facts.
-Bobby sees this and tries to be sly by bringing new beers and not 'eavesdrop' due to the threat of sleeping on the couch if he didn't come back with something for Athena and Hen.
-After shooing Bobby away, you stand and take Bucks hand leading him along the side of the house and through the side gate into the empty neighborhood. Walking hand in hand, you look at him and ask if this was fine. Buck just squeezing your hand back, enjoying the moment and warmness of your hand, spinning your moveable thumb ring.
-You both end up at a small overlook that showed the mass of lights that was LA, disturbing the moon's bright natural glow upon the earth. Buck swings his long legs over the silver metal guard rail, steadying himself and then offering you a hand with his head tilted towards you in silent question. A dopey smile breaking once you lay your hand in his and settle down next to him, your thighs touching. He went back to spinning your thumb ring making you giggle softly and take it off to give to him.
-Studying it, Buck realizes that it's a pictorial of a tree growing from a seed to a tall stout, and strong tree. You explained softly that it was a gift from your surrogate father when you graduated college. He reaches for your hand and slips the ring back in its place, threading his fingers with yours, squeezing them.
-You and buck watch the city for a bit, talking about plans for the week ahead, both skirting around asking the other out for coffee at least. Buck didn't want this to be like his past relationships, he wanted something more if his time in LA has taught him harshly that he is lonely and unable to relate to others because of something he still couldn't find the right word for.

Summary: It's your first day at station 118 and Eddie has a thing for you. Your relationship with Buck is a secret but he still goes defensive at the end of shift
Pairing: Evan 'Buck' Buckley x Reader, Eddie Diaz
Warning/s: Swearing, Jealousy (if you count that)
Hope this is OK!
The day started off normal. It was your first shift at station 118 and your first shift working alongside your boyfriend Evan Buckley. You had both decided to keep your relationship a secret from the guys at the firehouse so it didn't seem like you were there because of him which he understood. You had just finished pulling a group of teenagers out of a burning building. Your hair out of place, suit all over your face as well as sweat everywhere.
You soon noticed Chimney, Eddie and Buck staring at you. You were stood up against the firetruck drinking a bottle of water even though you really wanted to pour it over your head just so the cold would cool you down.
"Hey" You turned your head to see Buck and Eddie.
"Hey" You smiled back turning your attention back to the group of teenagers standing hugging each other. You thought it was quite cute seeing all their relationships
"So what you doing after shift Y/N?" Eddie asked and you shrugged
"Probably sitting on the couch with food and netflix" You answered back hoping Buck caught on
"How about you come out"
"I don't know I just like going home after shift" You answered politely.
When you got back to the station you walked into the gym deciding that any extra workouts would probably help. You walked over to the treadmill and started running.
"I think you might run off that thing" You turned your head around to see Eddie standing against the wall watching you. You stopped your run at 5k jumping off the treadmill turning to him.
"Yeah well I was only at 5k"
"Not bad at all not bad" You furrowed your brows
"Was going for 10k but 5'll do"
"Hmm OK. You know you're the only female Firefighter who hasn't been put off by us"
"You're all too kind and I can hold my ground thats for sure"
"Bet you can. What can I do for me to take you out one night" You raised your eyebrows.
"Ask me again when I'm not all sweaty" You tapped his chest, winking as you walked by.
After your showe you got changed back into your uniform then walked upstairs and collapsed next to Buck on the couch. You could tell he just wanted you in his arms but yous were at work. Eddie sat down on the table in front of you.
"You gonna answer my question" You smirked knowing what was gonna happen
"Maybe later Eddie" You moved so your feet were on Buck's lap and your head was against the back of the couch. Buck gave you a side glare and pulled out his phone texting you.
"What was his question?" He asked through the text
"What can he do to take me out one night" You answered honestly and he turned to glare at Eddie then turned his attention to you
"So Y/N what did you do before coming here?" Chimney asked and you turned to look at him with raised eyebrows.
"Huh? Oh erm I was in the army for a few years before I joined the fire academy then I was over at station 174" You explained casually seeing everyone except Buck's jaw dropped.
"Eddie over there was army" Chimney said pointing to Eddie who still had his jaw wide open. You took your phone out texting Buck
"Relax I can feel your muscles on my legs and we all know I have more muscles than you" You smiled as he read the text, glancing between you and the phone. You felt his muscles relax after reading the text.
"So Y/N who you been texting all day?" Eddie asked. You could feel Buck's eyes on you the whole Time.
"A really good friend" You answered. The flirting and Eddie asking you out continued happening throughout shift until it was you, Eddie and Buck left in the locker room.
"You need a ride home Y/N?" Eddie asked and you shook your head
"Nah I'm ok" You smiled
"Sure I can't convince you to come out" You shook your head noticing Buck's muscles clench through his grey shirt.
"Look man why don't you just back off" Buck said and you knew this was gonna end badly
"Man calm down I was only asking" Eddie said moving closer
"Yeah all shift" Buck moved closer as well so you stepped in the middle.
"You two need to stop this. It's just started but I won't see it go on for longer"
"Eddie go home to your son. Evan go home shower and I'll see you later" You grabbed your bag
"Y/N you aren't going anywhere" You turned around at Buck's statement
"And why's that?"
"Because I have your car keys" He held up your keys
"Then hurry the fuck up" You sighed leaving both men with their jaws on the floor.

It's thinking about Eddie hours.
So we know from what Ramon and Helena said that Eddie was working three jobs to support himself and Christopher when Shannon left like damn, was more than one of them a full time one, when did he sleep, was he working security someplace or like a clerk somewhere, did he do construction, did his training for becoming a firefighter technically count as one of them because some pay even a little bit still, like he had his own issues and trauma after coming back but put that aside. But now he's got one job a singular steady one that has people who are looking out for him and literally love him and would do anything they could for him and Christopher. I'm crying in the break room right now y'all I'm fucking emotionally distraught. Send help.

Eddie Diaz x Fem!reader
⚠️TW:⚠️ swearing, mentions of physical abuse, alcohol, drugs, mentions of abandonment
Angst, Physical Abuse, Healing/Trauma
Eddie finds out that Y/n's father is physically abusing her when she shows up to the station covered in fresh bruises, blood, and tears.
For years, Y/n's father had been taking drugs and drinking his life way. And everytime he did, he would take his rage out on her. Leaving her broken, hurt, bloodied, and just scared. But, the day she met Eddie Diaz at the Santa Monica Pier when he was with his son, she would never forget it.
Fast forward a few years, Y/n and Eddie stated dating, and Christopher loved her as much as Eddie did. It was a mid morning, when Eddie got to work for his shift. Y/n was home alone when her father showed up. Angry that she had left him alone to fend for himself and he took his anger out on her, leaving her there to die.
After he left, she had blood dripping down the side of her face, she had a busted lip, her eye was bruised badly, and her nose was bleeding but she managed to get to the station somehow.
She limped her way inside, just as Hen came down the stairs and saw the shape she was in. "Oh my god!" She rushed over, catching Y/n in her arms before she fell. "Guys! I need help down here!" Hen called into the radio.
Bobby was the first to come down, followed by Buck, Chimney, and Eddie. Eddie's face froze when he saw his girlfriend beaten so badly. He rushed over. Bobby started to hold him back, "No!" He pushed his way to Y/n.
Eddie kneeled down, "Y/n? Who did this to you?" He asked, whe examining her face.
"M-my father. He-he came by after you left and beat me. He said-" She broke into sobs again. "He said it was my fault!" Eddie shook his head, "No, nothing is your fault. That drunk son of a bitch will pay for this."
"Eddie, let Athena handle this, I've called her and let her know what the situation is." Bobby said, coming back from taking a phone call from Athena.
"Y/n, follow the light for me." Hen asked sweetly. She followed the light or tried to at least. "Yeah, she has a concussion."
Buck helped Eddie get Y/n to the couch to rest. "Buck is going to stay here with you while we're out on calls. Alright? And if you need me for anything, Buck knows how to reach me." Eddie kissed her head softly. "Buck, here's some money if you or her get hungry." Eddie tried to hand money to Buck.
"No, keep it. I'll pay for the food if she gets hungry." Buck pushed Eddie's hand away.
"Thanks, man." Eddie said with a smile. He was still very much worried about Y/n. And the fact that he just found out about the abuse, he was not happy. But he wasn't mad at her. He was mad at the low life that called himself a father.
Later that day, Eddie just got off his shift, he took Y/n home and got her settled into their bed. He brought her dinner that he made for the three of them. Him, her, and Chris. He laid beside her. "How long has he been hurting you? And be honest with me." Eddie said calmly and softly.
Y/n looked up at him, her eyes filled with sadness and fear which Eddie could see. "Ever since my mother left and never came back. I was three then. He started drinking heavily and got into drugs. Meth, weed, cocaine. You name it. And he became more violent towards me. He blamed me for my mom leaving us. He then started beating me everyday of my life." Her small voice broke Eddie's heart to hear her say it.
"He will never touch you again. Athena tracked him down and he is now locked away." Eddie kissed her head. "You are safe with me and-"
"Me!" Chris had come into the room. He softly yet gentally climbed into the bed between his father and Y/n.
"Yeah, what my son said." Eddie laughed. Y/n smiled and chuckled. "You two are something." Y/n laughed. "That's why I love you both."
After awhile, Eddie, Chris, and Y/n all fell asleep after a long, tiring day. But during the night, Y/n woke up from a pounding headache which had her crying. Eddie heard her and quickly got up, which woke up Chris.
"Dad? What's going on?" Chris rubbed his sleepy eyes.
"Its Y/n." He rushed to her side. "Hey, hey, what's going on, baby, talk to me." Eddie said soothingly.
"M-my head hurts so bad." Tears streamed her face. "Come here." Eddie helped her back into the bed. He handed her the pain meds and handed her a bottle water. After she drank it, she became sleepy.
Eddie climbed back into bed with Chris asleep against him and Y/n, who also had fallen back to sleep not long after.
Eddie never went back to sleep. He stayed awake making sure Y/n was alright. It didn't bother him because he was used to staying up all night when working 24 hour shifts.
The next morning, Eddie cooked breakfast while Chris and Y/n were still asleep. He heard a knock and walked over to a answer the door. "Buck, hey, come in." He stepped aside as Buck walked in. "How's Y/n?" He asked, standing with his hands in his pockets.
"She had a rough night. Her head hurt her a lot. I set up a doctor's appointment for her with the neurologist to see if anything else is wrong with her head. She just fell asleep early this morning after the pain med I gave her."
"I take it you didn't much sleep either?" He noticed the burnt toast. "Let me help, Eddie." Buck offered. Eddie stepped aside, too tired to argue. "Alright, I'm going to get Chris up and check on Y/n." He headed off to their room that they shared. He saw Chris asleep against Y/n with her arm around him.
He smiled, and quickly took a few pictures then decided to let them sleep longer. He showed Buck. "Awe, your son really does love her, huh?" He smiled that goofy smile.
"Yeah, he really does. He called her mom the other day when we were out getting lunch but she doesn't know it yet. I told him to wait until I asked her to marry me which will be on her birthday in a few weeks." Eddie smiled.
"Wow, I'm happy for you, man. Really proud too. Keep me posted on what they say about her head." Buck just put the plates on the table along with silverware. "Breakfast is done." Buck shouted, proudly.
Chris came into the kitchen shortly after, followed by Y/n. Eddie kissed her cheek. "How are you feeling, baby?" He asked.
"I feel a little bit better, still sore." Y/n smiled over at her boyfriend. He helped her sit down and handed her a plate of food. "Are you staying for breakfast, Buck?" Eddie asked.
"I can, yeah." He sat down, after getting a plate for himself. Chris was just eating away his food. Eddie watched Y/n carefully, making sure she was alright. He was still worried but didn't want to overstep her boundaries.

i STILL haven't finished 911, and the new season drops tonight- so my strategy for spoilers is as such:
because of my SEVERE fomo, i can't block tags, so i will just scroll past incriminating/spoilery posts while screaming very loudly and and hoping that the very pretty firefighters don't die before i can catch up to the live releases
anyways tag how you avoid spoilers because obviously my way is superior
