Bucky wakes up to Steve's voice, asking him to hurry up, as if they had to see to the very many plans made in their happily-ever-after life. He smiles at the man who carped leaning against the door frame; the very sight of him filling his heart with such joy. But his smile soon drops when he learns that the image of the man before him was just another construct of his broken mind, as his eyes fall on the shield next to where stood Steve.
