I feel like I need to once again state that if I ever draw Steven being fluffy with any other character besides Connie- it is NOT a ship. It is always familial or platonic. I love drawing soft and fluffy things no matter the relationship.

I think the Tulip/Lake is quite interesting because they have an interesting dynamic. Lake knows literally everything about Tulip, and Tulip knows almost nothing about Lake.

But I also like Hazel/Amelia and Hazel/Simon. I like to think of a dynamic where either Hazel is becoming more and more like Alrick, or Simon is becoming more and more like Alrick under Hazel's influence.

For real, TuLake is a personal fave of mine (did I mention it prior? IDK). It feels like a ship that would have taken off, but didn't for some reason, especially considering some fans' penchant for selfcest ships (take Stevencest, for example). And that one aspect you've mentioned... how have I never considered that? That Lake would know just about everything Tulip would like and prefer, but not vice versa? A cute bonding opportunity there, as Tulip takes the time to learn all of her partner's quirks and interests.

The scenarios you posited for the Hazel ones are also interesting! Especially when we consider the possibility, or implication, that Hazel is meant to be a failed clone of Alrick, or at least based off him as a concept. Her becoming more and more like him would make sense in this regard, and would probably be welcomed by Amelia (this itself also leads to potential drama/angst scenarios, if you think about it).

Lastly, I think I've mentioned how much I enjoy Simon/Hazel (albeit aged up to a degree). They just feel so cute together to me, I can't really say why at the moment. So Hazel rubbing off on her boyfriend to the point where he's becoming more of a goofy gentleman - i.e., her idea of the ideal partner - is so warm and yummy.

i wish you all a happy pride month! i appreciate every one of you, and if your still trying to figure out who you are thats ok, sometimes it takes a while to find something that is you, no one can tell you who or what you are besides yourself, you are the writer to your story not anyone else, and even through the harsh times i know itll all be ok. i wish you all luck finding out who you are, and when you find what and who you want to be know that i will be there to support it
