gonna drop a silly little happy auau idea i had since its prob gonna be a while until i feel pog enough to actually draw it- ujhhhhh ok so like, metal is an active threat in Happy Auau, swearing vengeance on Sonic and Co (Shadow, Silver, Tails, and ghost Knuckles) after they whooped his ass back to mobius (he has completely dominated the Sol until they arrived, also omg hi blaze!!) So obv Metal is a lil pissy about having all his work ripped out from under him by his horrible flesh counterpart, after he HAD ALREADY WON. So hes trying to fucking kill the shit out of them, for real this time. Hes causing so much terror that sonics the one to put forward the notion that they need to shut him down for good, which is how u know its serious sdbhfhjds. its been a long time since sonics had a real rival challenge him like metal, and part of him wants to keep the adrenaline and fight- but as a wise(r) old man he knows that metal is too much of a greater danger to a kingdom hes trying to protect. Metals also REALLY been getting on his fucking nerves. lmao the gang are collectively trying to come up with a way to shut him down for good, a way theyre positive they cant come back from, but mfer keeps escaping containment, so thats a whole other problem anyway, shadow has (in his opinion) a brilliant idea and he doesnt tell anyone BSHFHBD. so he takes the 7 chaos emeralds and inbeds them into sonics crown, and puts it on him in the middle of the night hes trying to mind control sonic BHJSABHJDSBHJDHBJ and it works!!! next morning sonics head is fucking EMPTY

so shadow, in typical fashion decides to see how far he can take this! bc he is a strange strange man. i think it turns into real comedic shit like shadow has him put on like. the MOST emo thing hes got in his closet. makes him say no to being offered a chili dog, makes him tell tails hes Cringe!!!! the funniest one to me is shadow using this to make sonic fawn over him bc shadow can never get enough ego boosting!! i wanna have sonic break the mind control over the actual DUMBEST reason, smth rlly goofy like shadow tells him to call him "the coolest" either way after it breaks uhhh shadow gets fucking werehog punched thru a wall!!!! sonics fucking SEETHING. like steam is coming outta the mans ears. shadow is COMPLETELY unfazed and ive been rotating dialogue in my brain along the lines of 'took you long enough' or 'its about time' they start an actual fight (its mostly just shadow gracefully and nonchalantly dodging whatever attacks sonic sends his way) and sonic is chewing him out for Whatever The Fuck that was. Shadow casually explains that sonic is the only person he knows with as strong a passion for freedom as him, making him the most resistant to any kind of control, he would put up the strongest fight against it like no other, and if it works on sonic, then its likely to forcefully work on Metal if the need arises. sonic begrudgingly accepts the reasoning but keeps fighting with shadow anyway to work the anger off sdbfhsbhdfhs bc hes still pretty livid about the whole thing anyway heehoo silly stuff spinning in my brain in mach 10 speed

so. out of the blue (haha) but brain has been ROTTING over my OCs as of late. and i might be drawing a few in the upcoming weeks eheheheheh... This lad is a very old OC and anyone interested about his history can read under the cut if they want... Content warning: Art from when i was a stupid little teenager.

So... This is Calian, a Zelda oc ive had since i was 15 not even joking. Back during a playthrough of Twilight Princess a friend and I made a joke about some random dude being the opposite of link in that game. Just an evil asshole who got twilighted into being a cat, then it devolved into a complete joke character of an evil Ganon obsessed catboy mage that just HATED everyone's guts.

His original design made in like 2016. So fast-forward to 2017, BotW releases in my birthday month! I get it on my Wiiu because that friend and I swapped Skyward Sword and BotW since they didn't have a Wiiu but got it from a friend. Botw introduced the Yiga, and BOY did i jump on that concept, i already had a very evil, loyal to Ganon OC just sitting there, so boom, man became a Yiga.

from there I finally started developing his story. He started becoming more than just "heehoo evil catboy", he became a what used to be a Sheikah (Sheikah design has been lost to PC changes, but did at one point in his life have the white hair. As well as his name now fitting the Sheikah's naming scheme of fruit and vegetables, [Calian = Scallion]).

He was completely absorbed and obsessed with unlocking long lost magic from the golden ages of Hyrule. Going mad into his studies so much so he began using unpracticed magic on himself turning him into the heehoo catboy. He was caught practicing this magic and banished because he had become immoral in his pursuits, willing to test magic on himself and others with little care. Eventually finding a place in the Yiga clan to carry out his studies,

Then for a while thats just how he was for a bit...

THEN TEARS OF THE KINGDOM CAME OUT AND GAVE US ZONAI AND MY FURRY ASS BRAIN LOOKED AT THEM AND WENT "WELP CALIAN IS THAT NOW."

Recent Design 2023 His story basically stayed the same, just now instead of being obsessed with general magic he became obsessed with the Zonai. Craving their magic and godly power he strived to meld his body into that of one to obtain even just a fraction of their power. While he succeeded in changing physical form into a Zonai he lacks many of their defining characteristics, such as the third eye and those long sought godly powers. Though his physical change still gave him a kind of power, while not being as strong as a true Zonai he still has passable magical skills that when not under much scrutiny can easily fool the untrained eye. Allowing him to pass himself off as a real Zonai and gain power and favor in the seedier parts of the Yiga. After all, its easy to pretend you're a part of a long gone race when barely anyone remembers them and their full capabilities, just make a few objects float and scribble some runes, its enough to convince a few meatheads you're the genuine article.

Well, guess who figured out a title for their “”secret WIP”” that isn’t really so secret? 😎 I wanted to draw Eden a little more to get used to their design, but it ended up becoming kind of a poster/proto cover for the WIP they’re featured in!!! Heehoo.

OK SO. who want more thoughts of “heehoo i import sun and moon into my oc world :]”

i have Comics and Pictures in my brain that i cannot draw out so the next best thing is giant text post under the cut

lot of explanations and context incoming! i did not fucking realize that importing sun and moon into the world would actually be beneficial as all hell

they have inadvertently helped me worldbuild on the lore with all the gods and stuff and im actually happy with how it came out! i had god lore before with a bunch of pieces that i knew would happen but it was all janky, disconnected, and i just did not like it

pro tip that apparently works, at least for me: imagine what if blorbos exist in your oc world. you just gain free worldbuilding apparently

OK OK NOW ONTO THE SUN MOON PART. there’s still missing parts and i’m not done with them yet but here’s what i’ve got so far

sun’s name is gold and moon’s name is silver, and eclipse is their father (because i just like dadclipse for reasons that are unknown to me) and eclipse’s name is most likely saturn. shit does saturn even exist in this oc world. ANYWAYS i just straight up ripped the 7 planetary metals, i saw the associations that the several metals had with the sun/moon/planets and went oooh cool. this part may be scrapped or reworked later, it’s a bit shaky. it is really shaky actually

BACKSTORY: reincarnation is a thing in the oc world, maintained by the god of rebirth, whose role i originally created to stand in for the y/n character but now they’re an actual oc. oops. the god of rebirth is canon in the lore now. no more y/n character my bad

they are the one god that has no true name! assuming you know every god’s true name and everything, you hold the least power over the god of rebirth. the closest to a true name you can get is ouroboros, which is a title equal to god of rebirth anyways

to the other gods, ouroboros is known for being MIA, and very hard to track that it’s usually not worth the effort. the reason for that is because they’re usually off living their next life as Some Animal and keeps going to their next life. however, recent events means that it’s actually possible to track down ouroboros, now that they’ve stopped bouncing off to live their next life and are actually staying down as a god for this while

why? the world is Mega Fucked. gods are concepts given form, and some guy killed a majority of the pantheon. as you can imagine, this has some Extreme Consequences

the most relevant god to ouroboros (and some other gods) that got killed is the god of death. life, death, and rebirth are a trio of gods, and now death is missing, so life and rebirth have to step up. life is doing his best to pull people’s lifespans out and cut them shorter, which doesn’t work that well

rebirth has to keep a lot of things from coming back and living their next life, which makes them incredibly ill to essentially go against themself. the navigator, an entirely separate god that used to have nothing to do with all of this, is also stepping in to fill death’s role as best as he can by tracking down the wayward souls, and forcibly cutting people’s lives short if he finds them living past what should’ve killed them

everything is just not dying :V this includes disease too, so flu season is Hell On Earth

rebirth is still letting a few souls through, but keeping a lot of them behind what is basically a gate. 2 of the souls that rebirth lets through is sun and moon :]

WHAT WAS SUN AND MOON’S PREVIOUS LIFE BEFORE THEY WERE REBORN AS HUMANS? I’M GLAD YOU ASKED

THEY WERE GIANT FUCKING MACHINES FUUUUCK YEAH

the machine lore isn’t all that well built yet but before The Apocalypse, humans were just building giant machines and vibing with them. like i am imagining shadows of the colossus here (mainly the bird honestly) but they look a lot more mechanical

yes, the machines are alive. rebirth is also surprised, they thought they’d have to keep back the billions of microbes that made up the machine (like rain world!) from going to their next life, which, yeah, they did have to do that, but the machines themselves each counted as One Guy too which made rebirth go ! (exclamation mark)

rebirth is very excited about this and takes the opportunity to introduce themself to the boys when the 2 of them made a crooked little shrine in their backyard

eventually into adulthood, i have some possible events that might happen

1) moon nearly dies (he was like👌this close to dying and was in a lot of pain) when a Mysterious Person shows up, asks if he “accepts the consequences of their help” (he agreed), and then gets better!

the other living fears, if they ever meet him, call him Nyctophobia (they don’t even ask for his name) (why is spellcheck trying to get me to rewrite Nyctophobia into Arachnophobia). turns out the Mysterious Person was a living fear that turned him into one of their kin

except, Uh Oh, that sure had consequences! he and his family watches day by day as he becomes less human and become more of a living shadowy wisp. he becomes more hungry the more along the transformation is, until he figures out what his new form feeds on: the fear others have of the night and of the dark.

-side note: i say fear but it’s pretty flexible. fear, doubt, etc, as long as it’s a Thing the person embodies, they feed off of it. moon’s Person was Imposter Syndrome, who at one point, took the imposter part of it pretty literally

EDIT: i feel like i should describe moon’s meeting with this guy further. moon definitely knew something was up even before they opened their mouth, given that he was talking to his doppleganger

2) i’m not too sure what to do with sun. i’ve been juggling the idea of him becoming the emissary of a god! he gains powers, and in return, helps them with their duties and whatever tasks they assign him. i’ve been bouncing him as emissary of the moon or as emissary of the hunt

if he’s the emissary of the moon, he actually performs duties more related to the sun inside. the god of the sun is dead (which is why there’s a Big Fucking Ice Age and why a majority of humans live underground now), and the only person who can take over is the god of the moon, who’s doing a shit job at it since the sun is not under his domain and control

sun is going to struggle taking over the god of the moon’s solar duties though, since the powers he gets from this is related to the moon, not the sun

if sun instead becomes an emissary of the hunt (a position i thought of giving to moon a few times), then he hunts people down! it’s not limited to humans, anything that’s alive is free game. at some point, the god of the hunt joins the cycle trio (life, death, rebirth), filling in death’s missing role alongside the navigator (who guides people to rebirth)

Jasmine was exhausted, spraining her ankle at a rehearsal wasn't how she had envisioned her month to start.

She supposed it could have been much worse. She was grateful to have not broken any bones but having to stay at rest was almost as bad for someone like her.

She needed to dance but knew better than to worsen her injury.

Everyone had been so understanding and ready to help her out while she was recovering. Camden had offered to buy both of their groceries, and Angie had gone as far as making her homemade meals just so that she didn't have to get up from her bed.

Bosco helped too... in their own way.

She had noticed that they tried to get home from work as soon as they could to spend time with her. They would always tell stories from the coffee shop to keep her entertained. It worked, for the most part.

They had also taken the habit of sleeping in her bed, mostly because she refused to let them go - something that Bosco didn't seem to mind.

Most afternoons were just spent in her room, just the two of them relaxing and enjoying each other's company.

"It's healing just fine, mom," Jasmine spoke over the phone, "The doctor said I should be clear to take off the cast in less than a month, so you can tell Nali to stop worrying"

"You know she can't do that, baby girl, it's the former competitive skater in her that goes overprotective on you," she heard her mom reply, "But are you sure you don't want us to pass by to see you?"

Jasmine shook her head, even if she couldn't see her, "You enjoy your vacation with her and auntie Jan and auntie Goona, I got Bosco to keep me company," she replied, unconsciously going in to stroke their hair.

"Ah, yes, your little... friend?" Jasmine could hear the teasing in her mom's voice.

"Mom..." she warned, earning a chuckle from Bosco, who was busy doodling on her cast, "We've talked about this"

"Oh, I know, baby, but I'm still waiting to meet them, I gotta approve them first!"

"You just want to scare them off"

"Absolutely, that's the best part," Jasmine heard a voice in the background of the call, recognizing her stepmom's voice, "Well, I gotta go now but keep me updated, okay, princess? Love you"

"Love you too, mom," she hung up the call soon after, throwing her phone to the side and turning her head to the brunette - she could see the smirk on their face, "Don't"

"Princess, uh?"

Jasmine rolled her eyes, before looking down to see just what Bosco had been doing on her cast.

She found it littered with small hearts, all sporting some type of horns alongside some more goofy ones. She couldn't help but smile, knowing Bosco drew them intentionally wonky to make her feel better.

She was about to say something when Aveyah jumped on the bed, cuddling up against her.

"Wanna stay over for the night?" she finally asked, meeting Bosco's eyes.

Something felt different about them, she couldn't just quite put her finger on what.

So the Commissioner finds out Batman is in this specific building and goes get him boys. So SWAT comes in and just. Asmr firebombs a building with people who are Not Batman still in it bc they wanna kill Batman. But jokes on them, he lived!!

So they r in this building and Batman is asmr wrecking SWAT and then he like. Fucking summons a gigantic swarm of bats who go [vibecheck] at the police and then Batman gets away!!!!
