i feel like the next time some conservative or older folk get nasty about why kids these days don’t know how to do “basic stuff,” just flat out say it.

“i was never taught in school.”

chances are, said person probably had home eq or a workshop class at school that was cut out by the EVER POPULAR (not) reagan administration that they still do not fathom the fact that schools no longer teach “basic stuff.”

it really isn’t your fault that around the time those people were teens or young adults, their or their parents’ bad choices ended up fucking up pretty much the entire education system more than it already was.
