Will Nora be romancing anyone in your fic? Or would you rather keep that a secret?😊
oh, no secret, she romances nick! it's very slow burn though--it doesn't even get mentioned until about halfway through.
i know it's like, a game mechanics thing, but the romances in fo4 always felt a little rushed to me, especially given the opening scene and, y'know, entire main quest. that's a lot of grief to unpack and i want to give it the kind of space it deserves. and of course nick has his whole thing going on, too. taken together it's really a lot, and i think while they're friends pretty quickly, even the possibility of romance between them wouldn't be thought about by either of them for a while.
fun fact: i actually have the scene where she asks him out written already, and it's one of my favorites so far. they argue with each other about it for like ten minutes because nick is insecure as hell, poor guy.
