Hi! Here’s hotel information for someone who has stays in London a lot. The London Palladium is right in the middle of central London so hotels are going to be very pricy. I can’t say anything for other hotels but Premier inn is always good, and there’s two within walking distance from the theatre if you have the cash to pay out.

If you’re more cheap for cash, it’s always better to get a hotel on the outskirts of London, in more residential areas, if you’re willing to endure a tube ride to get there. You can get them around £40ish quid a night.

(No, you don’t need an Oyster card to get the tube. You can pay as you go contactless.)

Just be mindful that the tube/overhead trains stops running at midnight. And as the evening show starts at 8pm, and has to end before 11pm (because of The Noise Act- people leaving the theatre is a lot of noise). It will kinda be a case of almost immediately getting on a tube afterwards.

Sidenote because I saw the cosplay ask: I’m in a London gc on Insta and I know there is a few people planning on going in cosplay.

As I said, I have no insight into hotels in London but my advice for the tube would be:

Always have your ticket ready to go at the barriers or commuters will hate you

Stand on the right of escalators, walk on the left

London’s generally fairly safe but keep an eye on your stuff and don’t walk around with your head in your phone
