Writing Prompt #2033
"Are you satisfied yet? You've taken everything from me, and yet you still come calling like I have more to give!"
The witch smiled, a cruel joy within her eyes. "You have much more to give than you realize, my foolish friend."

Farewell, thou child of my right hand, and joy;
My sin was too much hope of thee, lov’d boy.
Seven years tho’ wert lent to me, and I thee pay,
Exacted by thy fate, on the just day.
O, could I lose all father now! For why
Will man lament the state he should envy?
To have so soon ‘scap’d world’s and flesh’s rage,
And if no other misery, yet age?
For whose sake henceforth all his vows be such,
As what he loves may never like too much.

I'm bored, let's talk about Star Wars and ATLA:
Here me out: how fun would it be to combine the two?! Like, bending is kinda like using the force, yeah?
What if there was a world somewhere out in the galaxy where force sensitives had a particular affinity for manipulating certain elements based on their environment?
The stronger in the force one is, the more elements they could bend.
Maybe the Jedi establish a temple there and benders can choose to join and become knights.
Naturally, the people of this planet don't really have a concept of the light vs dark side. More like, balancing the elements in their environment to create harmony. They'd probably end up incorporating some of it into their existing practices anyway.
Idk, I think it would be fun and cool if the Avatar also had a light saber.
You know what.... I could make an OC out of this.

Person C: No way can I leave you two here alone
Person B: Don’t be ridiculous! We’re two responsible adults!
Person C: *raises eyebrows intensely*
Person A: …WELL WE’RE ADULTS

The villain cried out in anguish as they held the hero's lifeless corpse in their arms. They cursed the gods. They cursed the world. They cursed themselves. The hero was supposed to stop them--to end them. How was it the hero ended up the one bloodied on the pavement? And why, oh why, did it hurt them so much to see the light in the hero's eyes drain like it had. The villain swore revenge for the little hero. They would avenge the hero's death, even if it ended in their own.

Whumpees who refuse to let themselves ever look weak again.
Whumpees who never let themselves depend on Caretaker, who refuse to accept any kindness or help.
Whumpees who never cry anymore, who’ve disconnected themselves so completely from their emotions so they can never be hurt again.
Whumpees who turn to drink or drug when the world feels too harsh to handle, even for them.
Only then, when Whumpee is wasted, can Caretaker clean them up and tuck them into bed at night.
Caretaker was worried at first, when they saw how wasted Whumpee was, but now with them sound asleep their worries faded away.
That is, until the screaming started…
