~I’ve Always Got You (Eddie Munson x Reader)~

Pairing: Eddie Munson x Fem! Reader

Warnings: Mentions of periods, that’s really it, mostly just fluff

Summary: Y/N is used to Eddie having stuff on hand when she needs it, but when she unexpectedly starts her period in class she’s nervous that he won’t have her covered this time…

A/N: this is my first fanfiction so please be nice and I hope you like it. I’ve had this idea in my head forever so I figured I’d do something with it.

Y/N quickly figured out that no matter what she needed, Eddie usually had it on him. Three months into their relationship they had been outside on an extremely hot summer day and she had started complaining about her hair sticking to her neck and not even ten seconds later Eddie was pulling a hair tie out of his jacket pocket and twisting her hair into a bun like he’d seen her do so many times. Ever since then he’s always had things like her favorite chapstick, hair ties, gum, whatever she may need on him

However, this time she wasn’t so sure Eddie would have what she needed but she figured she’d try before asking random girls and walking around embarrassed. She’d started her period in the middle of class and wasn’t expecting it so she had nothing on her. Luckily she was headed to lunch where she’d see her gorgeous metalhead but after a quick stop in the bathroom she realized she had marks all over the back of her jeans from her period.

She ran to the lunch room and immediately found Eddie and sat down without even getting her food, on the verge of breaking down from embarrassment and not knowing what to do. Eddie quickly turned around to see his beautiful girl almost in tears looking like she’d just seen a ghost,

“Hey Y/N, beautiful, what’s wrong? Did someone hurt you?”

“No I just have a little bit of an emergency” the girl explained hoping he’d get the hint so she wouldn’t have to embarrass herself further.

“Are you hurt? Sick? What’s wrong baby, you have to give me more than that?”

She nervously leaned in to whisper in his ear trying to keep seated so no one would see the back of her pants,” Umm I may have started my period a little early and I don’t have anything with me and it’s kind of on my pants and I don’t have anything to cover up with.”

Eddie immediately stood her up and wrapped his jacket around her waist and ushered her to the bathroom where he told her that he had pads and tampons in the jacket pocket for her. Y/N immediately looked at him with the biggest smile and sprinted in to get herself cleaned up, being sure to tie Eddie’s jacket back around her waist when she was done.

Luckily, Eddie had just enough to get her through the day and after school when she walked into his arms leaning against the van she immediately thanked him, almost in tears from her heightened emotions.

“It’s no problem pretty girl, I’ve always got you, you know that,” the boy responded with the most sincere look in his eyes. She reached up to peck his lips as he opened the door for her. As soon as they got in, her cramps started to hit her and she groaned in pain, making Eddie give her an extremely nervous look. When she explained he pulled out some pain medicine from the dash and handed her two pills, pressing a light kiss to her forehead.

“How about we go to the store and I get you all of your favorite snacks and whatever products or pain medicine you need? And then we go back to my place and get you a change of clothes and we can cuddle and I’ll rub your stomach? Does that sound okay darling?” Eddie questioned while rubbing her cheek with his thumb, looking for any sign that she might be in more pain than he thought. She immediately smiled and nodded her head, so that’s exactly what they did.

When they returned to Eddie’s place as promised he gave her a pair of his boxers, his hellfire shirt, and a clean pair of underwear she kept at his place for emergencies. They ate chocolate and watched a movie until Y/N started yawning, beginning to doze off on Eddie’s shoulder.

“Would you like to go lay in the bed gorgeous?” he spoke giggling at his tired girlfriend.

“Please,” she responded with a yawn as Eddie picked her up and walked towards his bedroom.

They crawled under the covers and Eddie rubbed her stomach, lightly humming to her until he felt something wet on his chest and immediately looked down to see his girl crying.

“Hey pretty baby what’s wrong? Does it hurt to much? I have a heating pack if you need it.” He spoke so softly that she began to cry more so he pulled her further into his lap.

“No it’s just, I-I’ve never had anyone be so sweet to me and I’m so happy and I love you so much. Thank you Eds,” she sobbed, her emotions obviously beginning to get to her.

“Of course baby, I’ve always got you. No matter what. I love you too angel”

And with that he began rubbing her back while kissing her hairline and whispering sweet nothings into her ear until she dozed off in his lap.

“I’ve always got you my love,” Eddie spoke one last time before joining her in sleep.

Summary: Y/N had felt a little off all day, but while staying over at Eddie’s she gets sick

A/N: I haven’t seen anything like this for Eddie but I feel like he is literally so sweet whenever his girlfriend is sick sooooo

You had felt off all day, you had a terrible headache, your stomach was always hurting, and you even had a few dizzy spells. Eddie noticed around lunch time that his girl wasn’t feeling the best. You were just moving the food around or you plate as just the thought of taking a bite was unbearable and he quickly noticed, as he does with everything involving me.

“Hey princess why aren’t you eating? Do you want me to get you something else?” he questioned with concern now bringing the attention of the other Hellfire member to you who also seemed worried.

“No baby I just have a little stomach ache and I’m not hungry that’s all,” you confidently fired back thinking it really was just a little stomach ache.

“Okay love, well you’re staying with me tonight so we’ll go pick up some soup for you to eat and some more pain medicine after school. I have a couple pills on me now that you can go ahead and take to help until them,” Eddie said while passing you the two pills, concern still extremely evident in his face. He probably would have pushed you more had Dustin and Mike not been sitting there. The two boys were very attached to you as you’d quickly become their “protector” as Eddie liked to say and you were even the reason they joined Hellfire. You and Eddie both knew that if those two boys even got a hint you weren’t okay they would be nervous wrecks.

“Y/N are you sure you’re okay? I don’t want you to be hurt,” Dustin nervously explained as if on cue, Mike shaking his head furiously next to him.

“I promise I’m okay sweets I just have a little stomach ache it’s no big deal. It’ll be gone by after school today,” you said with the sweet tone you always used with the younger boys, one of the many things Eddie loved about you. You were close with Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler around the time that everything started with the Upside Down, so you’d always felt the need to protect these kids even though they could most definitely handle themselves. That was one of the main reasons you didn’t bring up your pounding headache, after Vecna you knew it would just concern them more.

After school you felt no better, if anything you felt worse and Eddie could tell. He drove to the store and grabbed some medicine, crackers, soup, and ginger ale before he quickly drove you to his trailer. By this point you were asleep as you’d passed out while he was in the store so he carefully picked you up in his arms, carrying the bag of supplies around his elbow and brought you into his trailer. He changed you into some more comfortable clothes with included a pair of his boxers and his favorite Metallica shirt that you loved to sleep in. He was used to this little routine as this is what happened a lot if Hellfire ran late, you’d fall asleep and Eddie would change your clothes before crawling into bed with you. He’d hoped that maybe you just needed to sleep off your little sickness and you’d be fine in the morning so he quickly changed before crawling into bed and pulling you into him.

A couple hours later Eddie was awoken by you jumping out of bed and sprinting out of his room, he quickly followed as he had a feeling what was going on. He walked into the bathroom finding you heaving over the toilet with tears streaming down your face as one hand clutched your chest. Eddie immediately grabbed a hair clip that you had left here to put your hair back before leaning down next to you rubbing your back and side. Once you had finished Eddie flushed the toilet before picking you up in his arms, you curled to his chest with tears still running down your face. He grabbed a cold cloth, softly rubbing your face before throwing it in the hamper and grabbing a new one to rest on your forehead. He walked back to his bedroom still saying sweet nothings into your ear and pressing little kisses to your head. He sweetly set you down before pulling the sheet over you and checking your temperature with his hand before frowning as he quickly realized you had a fever.

“Hey princess, I’ll be right back. I have to grab you some water, medicine, and a trash can incase you get sick again. Just stay right here baby,” he said pressing another sweet kiss to your forehead while you use mumbled an understanding, to tired to actually talk.

He quickly returned handing you the medicine and helping you take it with a small sip of water. After he got everything settled for you he laid back down, pulling you into his chest again softly pulling his fingers through your hair and pressing a kiss to your still hot forehead.

“Tomorrow I’ll stay home with you and we can get you in a bath to help you feel a little better, hopefully get some food in you to help with that headache you didn’t tell me about earlier,” Eddie said pushing some hair out of your face and feeling your head again before placing the cloth back on you.

“No, don’t wanchu to get sick,” you responded while fighting to stay awake thanks to his sweet touches.

“You’re not gonna win this argument love, plus if I get sick I have an amazing girlfriend to take care of me,” he retorted with a chuckle.

“If I wasn’t so tired and weak and you weren’t so cute I’d fight you.”

“I know you would. Now go to sleep please. I love you babygirl,” he responded placing more sweet kisses to your head.

“I love you too sweets.”

And with that you drifted off, Eddie staying up a little while longer to make sure you weren’t going to get sick again. You ended up getting sick quite a few more times that night but Eddie was by your side the whole time and in the morning he helped you take a warm bath and eat some crackers. You were feeling a lot better by that afternoon when Dustin and Mike came barging into the trailer insisting to know why you and Eddie weren’t at school. Eddie was sick a couple days later, but you of course took care of him.
