"feliiiiiiiiix i don' wanna goooo." you whined as you sat down on the floor, in front of your front door, blocking the way. you were too tired, couldn't really sleep and now you were here at 7:26 am.
"i know you don't want to, but you have to y/n" said your boyfriend, felix. he offered to accompany you because he knew how afraid you are of the needle itself and of the hospital. and you really needed that test.
seconds later the two of you were in his car. your legs were bouncing up and down, showing how scared you were. he placed his right hand on your thigh, slowly massaging it to ease your nervousness.
when you got out of the car and saw the hospital, your stomach immediately turned.
god..how you hated these things...
felix held your hand, squeezing it slighty to remind you that he was there with you, no matter what.
you two made into the hospital and you drew a number that showed when it was your turn. it was 151. great..you had to wait a lot since there were a lot of people.
then you sat down on felix's lap, with the reason that there was not enough space and there were many old people. which was of course, true.
almost an hour later on the little screen, you saw your number and entered room 27 to hand over the papers containing your data to a very 'scary' woman.
then you had to wait again...
"lix, i-i'm scared" you choked back your tears as he caressed your back, planting some kisses on your temple.
"i'm here baby. i'll go in with you, okay?" he asked so gently. you loved him for that. he was thoughtful and kind with you. he knew you have these kind of problems.
"okay." you replied as you heard a 'ding' sound from the screens. it was your time now. you slowly stood up with felix and he took your hand in his. then you went into room 28.
"name? birthday?" a middle-aged woman asked you. she didn't even looked at you.
"y/n (and your bday)" you answered lowly and she led you to one of her co-worker.
"you can do it sweetheart" felix rooted for you, kissing your cheeks.
you were about to sit down when you saw that big needle and you hid behind your boyfriend, scared of what would happen.
"is she ok?" another co-worker asked.
"she's scared." felix replied instead of you, receiving a few strange looks from the workers.
"okay, but please hurry. a lot of people still waiting outside." she annoyedly said, bringing tears to your eyes. you just couldn't. it wasn't an easy task for you as they thought.
you were trembling as felix hugged your body to calm you. but it seemed impossible to do it.
"is it ok if she sits on my lap while you do it?" felix asked kindly but he had his deep ass voice and serious face.
"fine, just do it already."
"love, please let go of me for a sec, so she can do it and we can go home, okay?" you hesitated but eventually did it.
they put a rubber band on your upper arm so they can insert the needle into your vein. you instantly closed your eyes, squeezing felix hand with your free hand.
seconds later you were done but the tears still fell down your cheeks. your head was pounding and you felt nauseos. you two went outside for fresh air.
and that's when it hit.
your hearing started to go away and you felt dizzy. you looked up at your lover just to see him speaking. but you didn't hear him tho. your eyes were darting everywhere as your breathing hitched.
"f-feli-x i can't hear" you said, begging for nothing just to go home.
"shit" he mumbled, going into panic mood but he managed to keep his cool. he helped you sit down one of the stairs in front of the building and gave you water. thank god he had some.
he sat in front of you on the cold ground but he couldn't care less. you needed him. now. so he took your hands and guided your breathing.
"can w-we go home now?" you tiredly asked, barely above a whisper but felix heard it.
"of course. we'll stop on the way home and i'll buy your favorite snacks. how's that sound?" he asked as he helped you up to your feet.
"sounds too good." you finally smiled for the first time that day which made him giggle a bit, before you got into the car.
you were grateful that you found him. he was your comfort person and your boyfriend too. even your best friend. you loved him so much.
this was based on a true story, cause i actually went to blood test today. lol i was crying and they were laughing at me💀 i just needed my felix so thats how this story came.
