The worst part was that you saw this coming and there was nothing you could do, this was it. This is how it goes.
Your fingers hovered over the phone, screen illuminated by the soft glow of the device. Each tap of the keys felt like a final goodbye–it was a goodbye, a silent acknowledgment of the inevitable.
The weight of the moment pressed down on you, a heavy burden you couldn’t shake. Memories cascaded through your mind like a restless tide, pulling you deeper and deeper into depths of sorrow and regret. You couldn’t help but remember all the times you shared together, the laughter that echoed through the room as you whispered confessions under the covers. But amidst the warmth of those memories, there lingered a bitter truth, a truth that you could no longer deny.
With trembling hands, you typed out your final farewell, a testament to the pain that gnawed at your soul. And as you hit send, the message vanished into the digital abyss, leaving behind an empty void as you closed out the message with your thumb hovering over the button to delete the contact.
For a moment, you hesitated, the weight of your decision bearing down on you like a heavy stone. But then, with a resigned sigh, you pressed down, erasing the last remnants of your connection. As the contact disappeared from your phone, so too did the hope that had lingered in your heart.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYUUSAKU/Q!!! ( and me :D )
+ the camera man
[Image ID: A digital illustration of Yumeno Kyuusaku from Bungo Stray Dogs. They have a golden party hat on their head as they eat strawberry cake. Crumbs are all over their mouth as they look up into the viewer/camera while they eat a piece of the cake. On the upper left, it says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Q!". The artist's signature is on the rim of Yumeno's party hat. Below the illustration, there is a black and white doodle of Paul Verlaine and Chuuya Nakahara from Bungo Stray Dogs. Paul Verlaine is recording Yumeno eating the cake with his camera. He has a slight smile on his face. On the side, Chuuya stares in confusion at the strange way Verlaine holds his camera. They both are wearing matching party hats with Yumeno.\.End ID]
