"felix can you please concentrate?"

the idol startles at the comment, looking up from his phone to see the boys staring at him expectantly.

"oh, right," he sheepishly mumbles, placing his phone up side down reluctantly as chan goes back to briefing them on the likely plans of their latest comeback. but felix's heart wasn't in it.

he couldn't help himself when his right leg started bouncing unconsciously and he chewed at the inside of his cheek.

why hadn't you acknowledged the flowers he had sent over to your place over an hour ago? he knew the florist was only a 5 minutes drive from your place, so there was no way you hadn't received them yet.

felix was in love with you, and everyone seemed to know it except for you. but in your defense, he'd never tried to explicitly make a move. he instead resorted to sending you flowers everyday. every evening when you reached home from work, there would be a bouquet of the most beautiful flowers you had ever seen waiting for you at your doorstep. everyday was a new flower with their meaning attached and signed by 'your secret admirer'.

it was adorable and the most touching gesture someone had done for you in a while, and you would thank the sender everyday by storying the flowers or tweeting about them. felix had been waiting for this acknowledgement for the past half an hour, thumb growing sore as he refreshed his notifications every two seconds.

did you not like the flowers he sent this time? were you okay? did you reach home safe?

"felix, if you really want to know if y/n received the flowers or not, just text them about it?"

felix startled for what seemed like the 100th time that day, meeting hyunjin's eyes defiantly.

"if i do that, then they would know i sent it to them."

"isn't that the whole point?"

"no."

all 7 of them collectively let out a sigh. this had been going on for months.

chan understood felix's plight, though. he'd been in a similar position himself.

the elder shook his head, subtly pulling out his own phone and typing in a quick message to you.

[ chan ] hi yn :)) which flower did your secret admirer send this time?

it was an innocent question, since you usually updated chan about the flowers first.

you immediately read his message, but when you didn't reply chan furrowed his brows.

but the next second felix jumped up from his chair, a giddy smile pulling at his lips and scaring han half out of his mind.

"they tweeted about it!! they said they loved them and it made their day better."

what felix failed to notice was the little sun emoji you had used when you tweeted about the flowers; an emoji you explicitly used only when talking about or to felix.

oh, so you knew.

how you knew, they weren't sure, but the boys did not have the heart to tell felix that for all his efforts, turns out he hadn't been subtle at all.

pairing : chan x gn reader

prompt : chan was hopeless when it came to flirting with you. his idea was to post on instagram and wait for you to like the picture and magically realize one day that you're just as much in love with him.

genre : fluff !

felix is the first one to notice chan sitting by himself in one corner of their dressing room, brows furrowed and anxiously chewing at his lower lip.

"what's wrong, hyung?" he asks from across the room, successfully capturing everyone's attention.

"nothing." Chan tries to brush it off, but everybody notices the blush creeping up his cheeks.

han giggles, eyeing the phone their leader keeps checking every two minutes. everybody knew what had the idol in such a mood.

you probably hadn't liked the latest selfie he had posted.

Bang Chan was a producer, instrumentalist, singer, dancer, rapper, and leader of one of the biggest 4th gen kpop groups, but when it came to you, he couldn't help himself. the thought of maintaining eye contact with you for longer than a second, much less flirting with you, reduced him into a blushing-stuttering mess. hence, he resorted to the least noticeable option - posting semi thirst traps on their public instagram account, waiting for you to notice the post and like it.

"if you want them to see it, just send it to them." lee know teases.

"I am not waiting for y/n to like my post!"

"I never said I was talking about y/n."

That shuts chan up. he throws a hand over his face, groaning. "I can see that they're online. why wont they just like it?"

jeongin rolls his eyes, pulling out his own phone and sending you a message, which you read giggling.

[ innie ] hey, please do us all a favor and like chan hyung's latest post?

the next minute chan jumps up from his place, a wide smile pulling at his lips.

"They liked the post!"

jeongin really didn't have the heart to tell chan what he had to do.

Chan

He’s immediately a bit concerned. He usually remembers your schedule so well so the fact that he doesn’t know where you are throws him off. He’ll rack his brain for any memory of you telling him about plans but when he can’t think of anything he’ll start texting you. He tries not to seem too stressed out but if hours go by and you haven’t answered he’s about ready to head out and start looking for you.

Changbin

He’s honestly surprised that you got up earlier than him. He’s gonna think you went to the gym to meet him there so he’ll get a little upset when you are not, in fact, there. He’ll text you, very sad and pouty that you’re not there but when you don’t answer by the end of his workout, that’s when he starts to worry.

Jisung

His first thought is that he forgot something. He knows you don’t have work because you were excited to have the day off but you must have some other appointment that he can’t remember. He will mostly text you confused about where you’ve gone and pouting for you to come back.
