“welcome back [name],” as he gives you a quick summary. half of the chat internally facepalms at how lovestruck he looks right now, and half of the chat spam “me and who” and crying emojis

no you hit a nerve with that; why do i love modern au genshin so much? if it’s not piercer!character, it’s streamer/ gamer!character, bro i’m so weak for that >///<

you just know that his lovesick expression and excited voice trend the next day; there’s a ton of clips, edits and even fanart cursing through the net, as always when you feature on his streams in any way, shape or form; by now even chat reacts to your personalised notification

but nothing compares to the first time you appeared on his live, which was also the time you accidentally walked into the room while he was streaming

even though you weren’t visible to them, chat flipped their shit at kazuha’s sunshine expression when he partly took off his headset and gratefully accepted the snacks and drinks from you

ever since that incident chat made it their mission to find out who this elusive mystery person was; the wildest speculations were flying around and kazuha and you had a blast reading through the conspiracies; but you also had an extensive talk about you showing yourself to his fans

eventually you agreed to make an appearance and to say his mods had the most stressful day of their lives when he pulled you into his lap in front of thousands of people was an understatement; the chat was going absolutely crazy, flooded with questions and thirsts; people didn’t know who to be jealous of, honestly

fortunately, kazuha’s community was very accepting (the community takes after the streamer in this case) and relished in the way their favourite streamer’s face lit up every time you were close; that is how countless kazuha x y/n stan accounts came into be they go feral over every bit of affection shown

although, kazuha thinks he has to seriously sit down with chat again when they get more excited about you coming on stream and start rooting for you when you play against each other, hehe~

Ohh boy. You wouldn't believe how much Alternative Universe I made for her. A few AU I remember is her original Universe - Which she was an AI Android with grey motivation and past, and the setting was in post-apocalyptic world where half of the living creature on earth was dead after some incidents. And I kinda used her as an character in my Harry Potter roleplay (she is a villain-)

I'm also currently working on my own AU with her and König as the character hehe.

An immortal necromancer with her undead knight. This one was inspired by Mili song "Ga1ahad and Scientific Witchery"

For the second AU is kinda dark (?) I never finished the plot and it was inspired by x0o0x song "冥路"

The plot is about a youtuber/influencer that like to visit abandonment place and she went into a rural area to document an old left base even though there's so much rumour about many people get disappear after they visit that building.

I have a rough scenario about this in my note haha, but i guess I'll still change it later

The crumbling ruins of the old military base had long been a subject of rumor and mystery in the remote countryside. Some said it was haunted by ghosts of fallen soldiers. Others claimed a feral beast lurked within, preying on trespassers.

Only the bravest of explorers dared venture through the rusting gates under cover of night. None who entered were ever seen again.

As a streamer, You had made a name for yourself documenting adventures through allegedly haunted locations. When word of the abandoned base reached you, you simply had to investigate. Alone and after sunset, you slipped into the decrepit compound, camera rolling as you narrated in hushed tones.

The first few buildings revealed nothing but dust and debris. As You rounded a dark corner, a figure emerged from the shadows - a tall, broad man in tattered military fatigues, eyeing your camera with a hollow gaze.

"Hello...I didn't expect to find anyone out here. I'm just exploring, I'll be on my way--"

He seized your wrist in an iron grip. Close up, you noticed scars criss-crossing his stubbled face, and something feral in his deadened eyes.

"No one trespasses here. You'll stay." His voice rasped as if disused. Your heart raced, trying to calmly reason with the unstable veteran. But he merely dragged you deeper into the ruins, to a cellar door opening with a rusty squeal.

Down the creaking stairs, You glimpsed your end - a grimy room filled with remnants of those who came before. Your streaming career would end here, in this hell of a madman's making. Unless you could somehow find a way to escape...or turn the tables on your captor

Having lost so much control over life's cruelties, Snow guarded jealously what few joys remained in her tattered grasp.

Seeing peers bond closer stirred resentment's bitter tang, irrational logic insisting such intimacy mocked her inability to let down walls. She masked unease through charming jabs, joking any togetherness risked "stealing" one another from her orbit alone.

Less obvious, loneliness twisted innocent acts into perceived betrayals. If comrades gathered without her, paranoid logic conjured conspiracies against fractured minds too tired to fight shadows alone. Jealousy twisted friendships strained by her own detachment into fresh grudges deepening already cavernous isolation.

But she will still outwardly smiled through turmoil reminding she chose this path herself through walls erected in desperation's bid for survival this far. Envy remained her dirty secret, lest it brand weakness compromising years constructing impenetrable facades of resilience and control leaving none suspecting festering loneliness beneath.

Do you have any favorite Good Omens fics you would recommend, or have you written any?

Oh, dear, I have A TON! I'm not sure if they would be "new", but here I go, nonetheless. I read a lot of AU fics (and I'm writing one), so I hope it's not a pet peeve of yours! I'll try to limit myself and not recommend things that I have seen recommended a lot (like "Factory Settings", "the therapy one with the impossibly long name" LOL, "Slow Show", "Oopsie Omens"... I'll make a couple of exceptions, tho). I also read a lot of WIP's, love angst, hurt/comfort and fluff, and prefer skipping over smut (Not a against it per se, love sexy times with feelings), so my selection is... Very particular. Here it goes!!

Demon and Angel Professors: I adore this series of short fics. There are 200 of them in the collection, they all are 666 words long, and both the guys and the new characters are absolutely endearing. The diversity of the cast was a welcome addition.

Listen, Will You Learn To Hear Me From Afar?: This one is short, a little sad but very, very sweet. Aziraphale starts receiving flowers and poems every three years, after Crowley disappears in Edinburgh. I loved the poetry selection.

Stalwart Sun, Wily Moon: Probably, my first AU and the one that started it all. I'm pretty sure this is one of the "everyone and their grannies have already read this", but I adore the relationships, the way the characters transformed by entering this universe (Crowley being a fantastic art thief with a magnificent taste for clothes was something I never knew I needed). I would absolutely watch an adaptation of this fic to the screens.

Too Wise To Woo Peaceably: This one is, probably, another one of the "everyone has read this fic and I don't care", but I really feel deeply about it and its author. It was a tour the force, with daily posting and the author reading and answering the comments EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. Feral But Fluffy brought me single-handedly into being an active participant in this fandom instead of just lurking in the corners. It's a fantastic continuation from the ending of Season 2, with a lot of angst, hurt, laugh and comfort. And Muriel rings absolutely true in here.

Give A Man A Mask: Another one by Feral! This one is a beautiful seduction game, taking Venice and a Masquerade as the background. Sexy, exciting, and hurtful at the same time.

Postcards From Paris: I find myself absolutely enraptured by the AUs created by Ghostrat (and their illustrations!! I use his AU Streamer!Crowley as my laptop wallpaper), but this one is very close to my heart. One lonely lawyer starts receiving postcards addressed to the previous tenant, signed by one AZF. The concept and execution are lovely. His Streamers AU is also very funny, and the Professors AU (Mon Horrible Cheri) is one of the "must reads with a lot of hits that recommends by itself".

Husband Material: This AU has made me laugh A LOT. Crowley is a wedding planner... And he has to plan the wedding of "the one who got away", Aziraphale. It is still a WIP, and it lights my day whenever it appears in my inbox.

Shepherds of the Damned: an after S2 work, the Crowley recovery arc in this fic had my heart leaping. It is also gripping and full with angst and action. A very noble S3, if you ask me.

Symphony of Second Chances: in this AU, Crowley is a drummer, recovering from a terrible shoulder injury and trying to get back to his place in the orchestra. Aziraphale is the visiting director for the next season... And they are absolutely smitten with each other. A lot of hurt and the sweetest comfort ever (it made me want an Aziraphale in my life more than ever). Still a WIP.

The Anon Before Christmas: This fic was pure happiness and tooth rotting fluff, ideal for December, with a warm cup of cocoa. They are humans and have the nicest group of friends one can ever imagine... But they loathe each other. Of course, one meddling Anathema makes sure to make Crowley Aziraphale's Secret Santa.

To Love The Stars Too Fondly: Another fantastic post S2 fic, filled with love and angst and adventure and all the right things to make it a gripping read, and a GREAT ending. Another take that could be a satisfying alternate canon.

Because We Are Carying The Fire: A horror AU! Aziraphale is a professor with a PhD in parapsychology, and one day he receives a mysterious book. Weird things happen, and he looks for the help of Crowley, a podcaster and self appointed demon expert. It is a WIP, and it really delivers. It is romantic and terrifying at the same time.

And my works!

I've written a short fic, Rebellion, speculating with the causes of The Starmaker's Fall. It came from a prompt imagining "what if rebel angels had been creating alternative lifeforms in the Universe", and it turned slightly dark (because I'm me). I'm also writing and publishing a longer fic, Under The Fold, an AU where AZ Fell and AJ Crowley are journalists who made an exposé that put them in danger and where they will have to use all of their researching abilities to bring justice (and avoid dangers). I've already written 2/3 of it, and half of it is already up, if you feel like reading it!

Oh my god the idea that a bunch of people have to sign a contract saying wednesday can attack them if she feels threatened is so funny. Like- something had to have happened to lead to this, right? Her team realized it was the best option so Wednesday doesn’t get jailed or bad publicity but her fans just go feral anyway anytime Wednesday puts a knife to someone’s throat

Monster fucker Wednesday confirmed !!! I mean hey was it ever really doubted…

Reached monster fucker anon and that made me laugh. From a pr perspective I honestly think with what Wednesday writes her being a monster fucker would be good. I mean- that’s who she writes for, if you really think about it. Her audience is full of monsterfuckers from the normie x monster shit she writes. Sure, she has horror and what not but the base of it is still that. The question isn’t whether she’s a monster fucker it is what monster she wants to fuck her !!!

Oh my god! I got to the stalker lore stuff and I love it!!! I’m very happy to read more of it and now I have such a better understanding. I knew enid went feral but damn !!! There is no getting in the way of Wednesday and Enid. It makes me happy though that they were able to get past all of this trauma to end up in a much better place where they both can physically be together and love each other. It really speaks to how strong their relationship is like there is absolutely nothing that could ever break the two of them apart.

I have to wonder if anyone at nevermore or hell even in Jericho remember Wednesday (she’s hard to forget) and see her as this celebrity figure. Do they talk about it? Do they bring it up? Do they try to say what happened at nevermore? Are the whispers just brushed away as an old classmate wanting to hate on them? Just rumors bubbled up to ruin Wednesdays image? Or, really, would it not even be blinked at because this is Wednesday Addams after all? (some nevermore students and people of Jericho definitely have a “Wednesday Addams traumatized me” therapy group) OH or does everyone think all the old Jericho people are crazy because wednesday turned her school years into books (unknown to the public) so it just looks like they are taking what she’s written wayyy to seriously

Oh my god the short of enid in jail was heartbreaking. It cements even more how much they deserve. Like- Enid in her life has reached a state where she is so overly loved. She can play video games, laugh, smile, be jump scared and run into the arms of her *wife* at the end of it all. You did a fantastic job writing it!!!

glad people like the stalker lore, it wont come up alot bc adult wenclair has moved past it but i wanted to use it to explain why enid is so easily strict on her boundaries esp with chat

as for if jericho and nevermore remembering wednesday? yeah no they definitely know her, with the amount of shit wenclair get up too its hard to forget the werewolf and its master staining their monuments red

they do crow abt it at times but they're so secluded its not really that noticeable. There are the occasional post from a disgruntled adult of long before but that's about it. Definitely looks like an in universe viper roleplayer though!

glad you like my short on jail enid, she's a little crazy but who wouldn't if you gone through what she did in that cell? luckily she got way better, so everything is much tolerable now :)

You still can't meet Joshua's gaze.

Not because you're scared of him—though you have to admit that it's difficult to forget the feral flash of his eyes—but because you know that one glance at his heartbroken expression would weaken your resolve. And right now, you're trying to hammer a point home.

"Here, I'll put that back," he offers softly, hand reaching out for the cleaned mug. You place it on the counter and take long strides to the opposite end of the kitchen, pretending to busy yourself with the hand towels. Slip them off the oven handle, re-fold them along the creases. He sighs at the sight of your back. "I'm sorry, love. I didn't mean it, I swear."

You suppose that, in a way, he is right. He didn't mean the words he said. The moment his brain caught up with his mouth, he clamped his lips shut, the fight melting from his shoulders. But he did intend to hurt you, and as much as he regrets it now, the mission was accomplished.

"How can I make it up to you?"

His tone is nearing a whimper. You give a one shouldered shrug.

"Whatever you want. I'll do all the chores, all the cooking, all the laundry. I'll sleep on the couch—hell, I'll sleep outside, if you want me to."

A part of you is tempted to stay silent, to see what else he'd offer for your forgiveness, but it's been hours. Maybe you've pulled him along for long enough.

"I don't want you to do anything," you begin, turning around to face him. It's endearingly pathetic how fast he perks up. "I just want you to understand why I'm upset."

"I do!"

"Then why did you say it in the first place?"

No answer for that, though he knows why. It's written all over his face. Joshua, the one with the fast legs and even faster mouth, shooting off insults like a loaded gun, knowing that at least one would hit. It's what remains of his younger, more aggressive days.

You press the tips of your fingers into closed eyes. "If it was about something I could change, I would be less upset, but I can't help the fact that I'm human, Josh. Saying that I'm dragging you down as a partner...you could just leave me and find someone that suits you better."

A strangled noise rumbles from his throat. This time, when he reaches for you, you let him, and he rests his cheek against your hair.

I really want to put Gary into a Dead By Daylight AU because he'd fit right in pretty well. These ideas would probably be horribly unbalanced but Idgaf. This is just me fucking around with my OC. I don't have any plans to actually have him in Dead By Daylight (like that'd even be possible) nor do I actually play the game. I have no one to play with, so I never bought it. All my knowledge of the game is through watching streamers play and scouring the wiki.

His title would be "The Apex Predator." And his play style would put emphasis on speed and ambushing survivors. With a small amount of stealth as well since Gary is completely silent aside from his footsteps and would have a low crouch similar to Amanda.

His Memento Mori would be "Run Down" and it'd be a short animation of him tackling the survivor from behind and repeatedly hooking his claws into them while they scream and struggle until he pulls them close enough to slash open their throats. Blood sprays everywhere and the sequence ends with the camera being splashed with blood to the point where nothing more can be seen.

Like Leatherface and Hillbilly, he would have a running chainsaw attack. And while he'd be more maneuverable than the other two, it would have a longer cooldown time.

He would have a perk called "Cry of the Wendigo" where, if equipped, he would occasionally mimic the noises of an injured survivor while sneaking.

He could have a one-time use per round ability where he can insta-kill a survivor that is on a hook. Like the Memento Mori, it plays an animation of him tearing into them and devouring them.

He would have two basic attacks. A weak attack that is done by swiping with his claws. And a stronger attack that is done by lunging and potentially downing a survivor after one or two hits. The lunge can only be done if Gary is already sneaking.

A vanilla debuff he'd have would be the right half of his FOV being obscured, since he only has one eye. But this can be remidied with an unlockable perk that grants him the full FOV as well as gives glimpses of nearby survivors when they make noise.

And as per traditional DBD thirst material, he'd have a secondary "feral" skin that is him in his butcher's apron and a deer skull mask... And not much else. Besides the copious amounts of blood and grime anyway lol. (May or may not have been loosely inspired by Pyramid Head's getup lmao.) Although the deer skull may be too on-the-nose, I'd also consider using my other OC's mask. Which is a sabertooth tiger skull.

Game Nights, and Anime Marathons

It's not Levi if not for his games and pop culture, after you two became friends, Levi usually invites you to play or watch with him, insisting that it would be way more fun if you were there

Whatever is on, the two of you never fail to have a great time

Levi would carry you in many games and assures you it's okay if you feel bad

Even if you're not a couple, you two always latch on each other and wear either contrasting or matching outfits

He's pretty flustered about it though lol

After watching an anime, the two of you would continuously talk and chat about it, and sending memes about that particular anime

He's so giddy about having someone to talk to about his hobbies but he can't put them into words!

Pets

He owns a lot of pets and is pretty good at taking care of them!

He specifically requested a good apartment that allowed pets so you could even have one of your own there!

Levi has a couple of unique friends that you may be afraid of so he takes extra precautions not to show them to you, as sad as he is because you can't meet them :(

Your pet is attached to him, good luck getting back

Levi researches a lot about animals and makes sure to take care of the pets in your apartment but relies on you when it's something social like talking to the vet or chatting with curious neighbors

The two of you take turns taking the poop out :P

Streaming Levi

While he's easily anxious when there's many people, Levi gets excited at streaming because aside from making content that he enjoys, he has the choice to stop if he feels like it

You were worried at first because you know how nervous he gets but he eventually warms up to it

You constantly remind him to take breaks after hours of streaming and also give him snacks and water

His followers don't see your face and Levi adjusts his webcam so you wouldn't be seen

Your privacy is important to him and he'll feel absolutely awful if ever that's broken because of him

You were his first fan so whenever he sees your username, he gets a goofy smile appear on his face

His chat is like: AWWWWW, LOOK, HE'S SMILINGGGG | IS HIS CRUSH HERE????

And then he's like "NO! IT'S JUST THE CAMERA! I'M NOT BLUSHING!"

He calls Mammon for being a tsundere but he's definitely one too when it comes to you

You actually appear on his streams a couple of times, you're his player two when multiplayer is available

His Animal Crossing Stream included you and him hitting each other with nets for 5 minutes and not letting the other win

His followers not-so-secretly ship you with him and so long as you were fine with that, so was Levi

He would NEVER tell them you're his roommate because he knows he'll get the "and they were roommates" treatment every time he mentions you

Abandonment Issues

Levi knows he's... hard to deal with

And he will never let down the fact that he was mean to you at first

He's a big ball of socially anxious, self-deprecating, gross mess and he doesn't understand how you still became friends with him

But inside, he never wants to lose these moments with you

At some point, when Lucifer thinks that he should go back home, he'll have to leave you as your roommate

He hated going out and leaving his home behind but now that he met you, he's not sure if he ever wants to leave your side

Sometimes Levi would tear up at night imagining that moment, sure, he could ask Luci to stay but even then, would the chance he agrees be completely 100%?

Levi doesn't want to burden you with his problems so he just talks to Henry 2.0 and the rest of his pets about it even if they wouldn't respond

"xiao, childe's headed your way, watch out! i'm protecting this sector," hu tao's loud voice booms through his headphones, and he grumbles, "that stupid ginger really can't just leave me alone, can he?" the chat in his stream goes wild to hear the normally calm streamer cursing, and his viewers eagerly spam messages about how excited they are to be impressed by his incredible aim once more.

childe, who's playing as phoenix, rounds the corner, only to be met with xiao, who's already raised his weapon to shoot. without losing a hint of his composure, xiao fires off a couple rounds, and the headshot icon appears in the corner, eliminating tartaglia from the final round. shaking his head, xiao can't stop the small proud smile that spreads across his face, "if tartaglia actually planned where he was going, he might have won." a second later, the word 'victory' is splayed across his screen in muted green tones as hu tao lets out a gleeful cheer, "haha, i killed zhongli! we win!" "good job, hu tao," xiao compliments her, running a hand through his teal streaked hair. the chat seems to be sending messages at the speed of light, all of them claiming they're taking as many screenshots as possible, and complaining about how they wished they were lucky enough to play competition with him.

"do you want to end the stream here?" xiao asks, tilting his head quizzically and looking at the other girl. "yupp, yanfei's already offline too, she said she has work so she won't be able to join us," hu tao pouts. "ah, then i guess we won't be able to play with a full team. so i might just mess around a bit more, practice my aim in death match mode," xiao states, "it's only around 2am anyways." with a wink, hu tao giggles, "xiao, don't you have someone waiting for you~? you should go to sleep too." through his webcam, xiao sends her the most terrifying death stare ever - it's what his fanbase says is strong enough to conquer demons.

"alright, alright, i'll stop teasing you," hu tao raises her hands in playful surrender. with a salute to her camera, she beams, "don't forget to subscribe if you liked the stream! if not, i might have to put you in a coffin~" laughing to herself, hu tao waves at xiao before disconnecting from the call, her webcam in the corner of the screen disappearing. xiao sighs, leaning back in his chair. blowing a few strands of hair out of his face, he says, "that was pretty fun. hope you guys enjoyed it, by the way." he scans over the chat comments, eyes widening as he realises most of them are asking about what hu tao said earlier. "someone waiting for me...? oh. just ignore hu tao, she tends to spout a lot of nonsense anyway," xiao says, although he's unable to look directly at the camera.

'shy xiao?!' the viewers freak out, everyone spamming about how cute he looks. pale pink dusts his cheeks as he prepares to return to the game, "thank you all. but stop it, okay, i've got to focus now." suddenly, a soft knock sounds on the door behind him, and xiao, who is usually as cool as a cucumber, nearly falls off his chair. the chat goes feral, begging people to clip that part, laughing at xiao's antics, and asking if he's alright. someone even sends a donation that reads 'for the hospital bills if ur injured'. xiao straightens up, pretending as if he isn't embarrassed, "thank you for the donation, but i doubt i'll need it. i'm fine. anyways, i have to see who this is, so i'm going to mute my mic and turn off my camera for a while. just wait a couple of minutes, alright?" the next move should have been xiao doing what he said he was going to, but he was so eager to open the door that he didn't click the correct icons properly, ending up with his mic unmuted and his camera left on while he answered. messages in the chat kept going, wondering if it was on purpose, and querying how they should let him know. however, xiao didn't notice, because as one of the most popular streamers on twitch, his chat was always moving at lightning speed.

"xiao~" your voice is drowsy as you shuffle into the room, his hoodie far too big on your figure. xiao swallows, his brain short-circuiting as he takes in how adorable you look, "y/n! are you okay?" "when are you coming to sleep? i miss you," you raise a hand to rub your sleepy eyes, the sleeves of the hoodie covering your fists. xiao's expression softens, the gentle smile he reserves for you and you alone curving his lips, "c'mere. do you wanna cuddle?" you nod once before yawning, prompting him to chuckle softly. ambling over to him, you clamber onto his lap, burying your head in his neck and exhaling a sigh of relief. "sorry for interrupting your stream," you murmur, already feeling slumber overtake you. "oh, fuck," the swear escapes under his breath. praying to every deity he ever knew, xiao looks up at the ceiling, massaging his temples, "please tell me you guys did not see or hear that." unfortunately for him, the chat confesses the exact opposite, and they start sending a million questions, causing xiao to groan. sparing a glance to the chat, xiao admits, "this is my significant other, my partner, my other half, whatever you want to call it - we're together, and we've been dating for quite some time now. they don't wish to be known publicly, so please respect their wishes and don't try to find them online." xiao's fanbase was one of the most well-conducted fandoms in comparison to the rest, like childe's, whose chat was constantly filled with barking and bad pick-up lines, so he was hoping they'd behave this time as well. "uh, i'm not really sure what to say here... so i guess i'll just continue playing," he mutters.

for the next hour, xiao continues streaming valorant and interacting peaceably with his chat, albeit in low tones so that you won't stir. and a clip from this stream that goes viral and causes his fans to scream for weeks was of how when someone in the chat complimented you, xiao's grip around you tightened slightly with pride and possessiveness as he smiled, "i know. i'm lucky to be theirs."

Okay for Dream's soulmate headcanons I like to picture that you have a specific sentence/ words written on your wrist that your soulmate would say to you.

Now, I like to think that you've met your soulmate but! You don't know that yet because of the words on your wrist.

Here's how the situation will go, so basically your a streamer (Naturally) and your friends with Dream! (Shocking :0) .

So you've recently been getting undeserved hate because of the way you play a certain game or people just don't seem to like you, sure there are your loyal fans cheering you up and all but there's just sometimes going to be someone who'd take their comments too far and it just gets to you.

So right now your on discord with Dream ( I don't if you guys want it to be the both of you are in face time so I'll leave this part vague so you can imagine which one you prefer.) and you are just venting/talking about your situation with Dream and you come to stop saying that you couldn't handle it anymore and that you didn't know what to do anymore.

Dream has experience to what your encountering, putting yourself out there and becoming a sort of influencer and gaining fame is that there will always be people to bring you down and love to see that they have left and effect on you.

" You don't need to listen to them, clearly, they don't know how amazing you are."

"Thank you Clay, you're really great too, I don't see why people seem to hate you too."

It was silent at first but then you came to a sudden realisation of the familiarity of the words Dream just told you, quickly pulling up your sleeve your eyes widen to the exact words Dream said imprinted on your wrist.

Your Soulmate Au with Sapnap is You're deaf until you meet your Soulmate, and the first thing you'll be able to hear is their voice.

So here's how your situation goes, so given that your deaf, you had to learn ASL language to communicate with people(I make it that everyone has different Soulmate Au's, ex: your friend has the red string.) and it's sometimes hard to be able to get your bearings considering your deaf.

And hearing aids don't work as well, there's nothing you can do about it, so you just wait for your soulmate.

So, you're walking down the street after getting groceries, and you try to balance all the bags in your hand but they were to heavy and you were really desperate to not drop the groceries.

So you hug the groceries close to your body but you stiffen at the hand on your shoulder, you turn around to look at the person and they smile at you, raised their hands to sign if you needed help, dumbfounded you try to say something but you couldn't hear what you said but it was clear he did because he had this look of surprise.

And he puts a hand over his ear and looks at you and opens his mouth.

"Can you hear me?" You had the same expression he had but you nodded and then everything seemed to be clear and the both of you can hear sound now.

The two of you just talk to each other about anything you guys come up with relishing the sound of each others voice whilst carrying your groceries.

Okay, so for Karl's Soulmate thing I picked where your hair would be the same as your soulmates if they dye it and vice versa to your soulmate.

So basically you've had this love for gaming and you practically have been entertaining the idea of streaming, you loved people who play games whilst they streamed, talking to the people in chat and just making people's days.

And you happen to want to do the same, so basically you wanted to be exclusive with your appearance so you usually just turned your face cam off, but when you did people would gush about how nice your hair looked because of the colors you pick out.

Your streaming career had really gone well and you were quiet well known and was doing really well, the people loved you! (excluding the people who bash on you).

You've met really wonderful friends and they're just the nicest and most wonderful people!

And you have this friend named Karl he was really the best, you met him through Quackity and the two of you just really hit it off from the on.

Basically, you and Karl would be streaming later but there was a problem it was when you were with other people or felt the mood you'd turn on your camera but your soulmate decided to dye their hair and now you had the same exact color (awww and you were really growing into the old color too.)

So basically, when you got ready you joined the call with Karl(But you had your camera off) and the two of you were just playing and then you started ranting how your hair changed because your soulmate dyed their hair, Karl just comforted you and then when you were going to look at chat people wanted to see your hair so you went to open your face cam showing your hair, ruffling it a bit.

Unbeknownst to you, Karl happened to have opened your stream on his monitor, You went to talk again with Karl but he was silent for a while, then he smiled and went to talk about how he dyed his hair and he wanted to show the stream, you told him it was nice and was just oblivious to Karl's doing.

People kept on spamming your chat to check Karl's stream and so you did, you pulled up his stream and there he was, with his hair the same color as yours.

You started screaming and just yelled in disbelief letting out little chuckles, you went to cover your face with your hands and chat was ballistic (Both yours and his chat) .

Quackity.

Okay, so for Quackity I chose the one where you write on your skin it would also appear on your soulmate's (and vice versa).

So for this you use this as a form of communication since you don't know each other, it doesn't get personal but just little details about each other.

I have a feeling Quackity would draw penises as a form of prank and you'd have wash it off quickly because you know, it's embarassing but alas, you can't erase it.

It only happens to disappear after time or when your soulmate erases it.

So basically as payback to the little penises he draws you draw these shapes on your face, there are hearts, stars, and little doodles along with the words Kiss me!

It was all fun and games between you guys, and you wanted to share your little 'prank' on instagram, taking a picture of your self smiling and along with a caption saying how you pranked your soulmate.

After you had posted that you just decided to scroll through instagram smiling, but then your smiled had dropped and you saw someone posting a picture, their face having the same markings as you had drawn but you just didn't do anything and liked his picture.

But for a while it had been eating at you so you went to go and message him about being soulmates.

So you just resulted to doing it the old fashioned way and grabbing your marker and contemplating what to write, you decided to write your username and just left it at that hoping he'd check it out.

OPINIONS OF DREAMNOBLADE AU'S???? 🎤

anon... I AM FERAL RIGHT NOW. I LITERALLY WROTE LIKE 500 WORDS WORTH OF ESSAY (well, not like an essay. but you know what i mean) EXPLAINING EACH AUS THAT I KNOW. i was just answering my quiz and then... and then i accidentally clicked the x button. i hate myself right now ._. iʼm probably just going to explain again but with little enthusiasm *lies down on the ground and sighs*

canon universe. most of us probably consider canon universe as our comfort universe. there are the aspects of it that we already know about, such as things that actually happened in canon. there are also the things that writers added to the canon, like with ranboo being their child, with techno being a half-piglin (because iʼm pretty sure heʼs anthropomorphic pig and not a half-piglin), or with dream being half-dreamon or half-ender dragon. i think canon divergence is also part of this since itʼs also canon just in a different path. canon universe is basically a safe space for any us. i do consider it as a refreshment for me whenever iʼm getting tired of reading other aus.

origin au. as far as i remember, iʼve only read like two of this au but you know, iʼm including this just because. i donʼt know origin smp that much since i donʼt watch it but itʼs a nice concept. hybrids? yeah, sure, count me in. a nice community? hell yeah. i think itʼs cute. thatʼs pretty much it.

modern settings au. iʼm including coffee shop au and office au here btw, since i think itʼs pretty much the same just with coffee shops and office stuffs. itʼs pretty irritating to me, honestly (/lh). not all of them donʼt worry. like, yes, there are the fluff and giddiness (when youʼre laughing or blushing too much) but when itʼs pre-relationship and one-shot? i am shooting you. LIKE WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE PRE-RELATIONSHIP AND ONE SHOT WITH NOTHING NEXT TO IT (the next part of the one-shot). the thought was there and then... and then nothing???? =-=

god and goddesses au. okay... this au is *chefʼs kiss* especially when we make dnb as achilles and patroclus, eros and psyche, and even hades and persephone (kudos to pl because heʼs writing one). like, donʼt get me wrong, i also like dnb as like gods themselves instead of this *proceeds to point at achilles and patroclus, so on* but the thought of actually knowing what is going to happen in the story is pretty comforting. but you know, dreamxd and blood god? *chefʼs kiss*

superhero/villain au. i like this au, but it can be a bit repetitive. like with dream being a villain and techno a hero? itʼs... ehhh. like, look, thereʼs nothing wrong with it and iʼm not calling out the writers that write dream as a villain and techno as a hero, but does it have to be like that? ._. why do we need to perceive that dream is always a villain (in this type of au)? i really donʼt get it. and with the sudden popularity of this au in dnb fandom, i can say that there are fanfics that are out of my boundaries. this is probably why i like a heroʼs lament and ends, justified a lot because itʼs unpredictable in a way where i would be excited (especially a heroʼs lament. that fic is legendary af). iʼm always up for new things though. i would really like another dynamic that i donʼt know about.

detective/serial killer au. i have read like one fanfic about this and itʼs... excellent. yandere!techno and oblivious!dream? *screams* sadly though, it was taken down and the other fics that the same writer wrote ._. i was at the part where the girl died and dream was with techno so techno has an alibi and canʼt be a suspect and then i got the news that it was deleted *sobbing* anyway, the au in general is pretty decent especially when itʼs not that gory. also, i wouldnʼt recommend interacting irl with yandere people because i think itʼs really reasonable not to interact with any of them.

streamers au. iʼm a bit skeptical to include this since itʼs the closest au with the ccs but iʼll take the risk. this au in particular is also a refreshment of mine (kudos to sammy because his streamers fic is one of my all time favorite). half of us are probably scared of reading this au but donʼt worry, as long as dream and technoʼs selves are like their persona then itʼs okay. one of the things that says itʼs not shipping with ccs is with techno having a pink hair like with our fanon universe (because, come on, techno is anthropomorphic pig. unless technoʼs character is like sad-istʼs). so yeah, i still think this is pretty decent.

mafia au. i only read one mafia au and itʼs en passant but i assure you, this au is *SLAMS MY DADʼS CARD (since i donʼt have one)* the tension, hello??? how can anyone not like this??? iʼm going to punt anyone who will not like this. thatʼs literally it. mafia au? yes. iʼm not going to explain why i love it.

HELLO KICKS :D thank u 4 asking <3 i ended up scrolling back thru a gazillion messages but it was absolutely worth it. please allow me 2 present the babes

streamer bfs is a very self indulgent kandreil au, pure fluff absolutely 0 plot in here. they live in a Streamer Content House™ with the other foxes. kandrew r dating and neil is in a queer platonic relationship w them !! there's two parts of it right now, the first being just streaming shenanigans and interactions and then further actual relationship development with neil :]

SO BACKSTORY !! we have andrew: a complete weirdo but likeable abt it? just a chill dude doing his own thing while gaming. sometimes he codes too (here is a beloved fic with absolutely feral robot maker/youtuber!drew). his channel name is nyandrew, it never gets Big big but its stable enough that andrew can do it for fun. he has The Cat Ear Headphones which he never acknowledges the existence of but still wears every single stream. king knocked over his camera once and that 10 second clip became his channel trailer forevermore

there's always someone in the back of his streams just . sleeping?  it's kinda hard to see, no one knows who it is and andrew never addresses it so everyone just accepts it as another quirk of his lives... until one day andrew streams earlier than normal and halfway through the door creaks open and they hear "...babe? i couldn't-- oh. can i come in" cue absolute CHAOS within the chat bc WHO IS THIS !!!!

this person is the one and only kevin day. he's a college student but lives at the house and usually pops up in the other's vids. he was helping dan (who started this whole operation) with moving in. that day he hung out with the foxes, who convinced him to stay for their first day sleepover celebration and then he never left :]

neil is a faceless streamer and a generally funky dude . he started out with silent walkthroughs/speedruns of puzzle games, and now he plays whatever while keeping up the most bizarre and unrelated commentary. he also runs the foxes' podcast. his 'quiplash/jackbox with friends' vids (prompt game where everyone votes on their fav answer) are his most popular because he always has the most brutal and funny answers and he's in top 3 every single time

he only shows up on camera in the other's streams as a hand or legs but once a week MINIMUM the mysterious neil comes into andrew's room and says "release the roombas" and then u hear meowing (this is also where the channel trailer comes from)

kev's always sleeping on lives because andrew streams at 2am (insomnia things)... kev has night terrors and sleeps better with someone else in the room, but andrew can't really sleep with another person on the bed so this system works 4 them

there's this mythical clip of neil coming in and like collapsing on top of kevin sleeping on the floor. they say something 2 each other and neil laughs and then leaves AND IT HAS TORN THE INTERNET APART FOR YEARRSSSSS nyandrew's biggest career drama is nobody knows what's happening between them

andrew is also generally such a gremlin about answering questions u will never get a straight answer from this man ever . and on this topic he is the Worst. (referring 2 kevin) "who's ur friend?" he's not my friend.   "okay. what's the name of the man in the room with you?" very funny guys. that prank won't work there is no one behind me . "u said u were an only child" i never said that. i said i grew up an only child    and so on

people make compilations like "andrew minyard (nyandrew) holding his bf for 10 mins straight (ft. neil)" [in which neil also holds said bf and chat exploded] "andrew ignoring chat for 5 mins straight" "5 minutes of nyandrew lifting anything but weights (ft. his bf)"

there's also my personal fav "nyandrew (ñandrew) cursing in spanish for 2 mins straight" yes andrew speaks spanish. the clips are from a stream he did with nicky and when nicky tries 2 mention an embarrassing moment andrew says "ah tienes cojones... él tiene cojones sí mi gente" (you have some balls.. he's got balls right guys) and nicky goes quiet SO QUICK KSJSKDKF. andrew's not Family Friendly but he definitely doesn't curse in english/express himself like he will in spanish (2nd language emotional things<3) and chat is FLOORED

this vid at (6:50-7:50) is drunk kev professing his love then saying "okay let's go :]" trying 2 get them all 2 cuddle and andreil are like  . Kevin We Are On Live Right Now. + from 3:00-6:50 is them describing each fox in one word and trying 2 match answers but kevneil start arguing about their answers and andrew purposefully says different ones to rile them up

when neil actually sticks around in a live - he's wearing a hoodie with the strings taut so it covers his face mostly. kev's passed out on andrew, andreil r bantering and flirting. andrew's like "i gotta go to the bathroom" and he just. hoists kevin up and puts him in neil's lap instead and NONE OF THEM BLINK and kev just curls a hand in neil's hoodie, looks up at him and hes like *squints* "ur hiding?" in a sleepy tone and neil's like ":] u don't like the look?" when andrew comes back he brushes neil's neck and all 3 of them keep casually talking LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED and chat is literally unreadable. it is going insane

in regards 2 ur post about lap sitting these 3 are EXACTLY like this tiktok. *caresses head* "can u stay for one game..." like !!!!!!!!!!!! i am gone i am deceased... it is them. kevin is the main lap stealer between them (imagining kev's 6'1 self curling into a ball 2 fit in the chair with either of them. sparks joy) and he is super clingy while andreil have little gestures like neil slinging his legs over andrew's on the couch. he sits upside down and andrew steadies him when neil starts to slide off. neil tries to go for a run at like 5am after staying up all night and andrew catches him in the kitchen, all bleary after a live and shoves him into a beanbag. (if he sits on top of him to make him stay and they have an intense mental conversation with unwavering eye contact then nobody's around to prove it)

at the end of the day (night? morning? what is time to them) they're tired and the walls and online personas are down. they stay up talking or sitting in silence, all squished together on a mattress or sprawled around the tv or listening to low music in the car.

This started out with me really liking the idea of Oblivious! Stone and Pining! Robotnik...

and then it finally evolved into "Stone is a Twitch streamer and completely oblivious to his roommate's crush on him"

The more Stone talks about his 'annoying but highkey hot roommate' the more feral the chat becomes (they eventually make an emote for when Stone starts talking about him and a special one for when Robotnik appears on screen)

xiaoven? opinions

posting here because if i mention this on twitter they might go feral

ok i have a very nuanced take on this

just to start off, I am a multi-shipper. i ship almost everyone with traveler (either of them, but I play as lumine) and I am on board with almost all popular ships in the fandom (beigguang, xingyun, jean/lisa, jean/diluc, etc.).

i just can't with xiaoven though for some odd reason. i think they're cute, I love the fanart. i just cant seem to understand how it's mutual? like maybe xiao has a good amount of feelings for venti, maybe originating from the fact that xiao feels indebted to him from the start? perhaps in the past he yearned for that a lot? but i also think it's within venti's character to reject him, or anyone for that matter.

maybe it's a good time for me to bring up that despite being a multi-shipper, I don't ship venti with anyone ;-; I've seen a BUNCH of xiaoven, I've seen him shipped with barbara, traveler, etc. but i can't get on board with any of them, and it's almost always because of venti. I feel like he's 1) asexual and aromantic (i get that it's a spectrum, and I think venti's on the extreme side) and 2) even if he canonically isn't, he's just too much of a free-spirit to be tied on to a romantic and/or sexual relationship with anyone. In my head (so yeah, feel free to disagree?), all his interactions with other characters are just varying levels of platonic. he helped xiao multiple times and maybe visits him whenever he can, but that's just because he's a caring individual, or you can interpret that xiao's really special to him, it's just not romantic.

which is also why my favorite xiaoven fanart is of xiao yearning and venti's either unaware of his feelings or just polite but unwilling to reciprocate. like that one au where venti's a popular idol and xiao is a streamer guy who's like reacting to venti's videos or smth. or that one where xiao struggles to verbalize his feelings and venti's just :) ???

whenever i see fanart where venti is more of the pursuer, it just feels off to me. venti seems like a clingy friend, but definitely not a clingy partner, if he would ever be a partner. when the fanart looks like they both have equal feelings for each other, i think it's cute, but it also doesn't seem like venti. like all this is kinda leading to me might as well saying venti became a sort of mentor/savior figure for xiao but he never went beyond that.

(also also i feel like barbara is in the same area as venti? that is if you interpret barbara's idol persona as more prominent as opposed to her nurse/deaconness persona. i also don't ship anyone with her, maybe Bennett[?] if you go with her nurse persona more)

additionally, all of this is in the past, and xiaoven's present interactions are post-rejection, where xiao's still a little sad/disappointed but ultimately accepting, and venti's trying to be his usual self, trying to cheer him up, reassuring that just because he can't return romantic feelings, doesn't mean that xiao's not special to him. to me, this also explains xiao's voiceline about venti, where he's like reminded of venti and his tunes and he's just like "yeah, forget it" [rocky past, I'm trying to move on].

this is also why xiao/traveler is more effective for me. xiao, like, deep inside him, longs to be cared for. this is something that venti could provide, but when the feelings escalated, he's just not on board anymore. xiao/traveler adds something to the dynamic of making traveler sort of a more inexperienced individual, so this time xiao has to be that caring one, as much as he is the one being cared for. to xiao, perhaps, the traveler at the start was just another /mortal/ who he had to protect, which is why xiao seems stern, maybe even a bit hostile, in the beginning. but this time this /mortal/ keeps bumping into him, isn't completely helpless, cares for his safety, genuinely likes being around him, wants him to have fun etc. and since xiao didn't have indebted feelings from the beginning, he doesn't feel as shy around the traveler. sure, he still struggles a bit with interactions with anyone, but with the traveler it's just more natural. xiao feels less of the mega warrior that he is around mortals, or wounded traumatized guy around venti. the traveler's not as helpless as other /mortals/ but they're not a /higher being/ like venti. it's a nice middle ground that allows xiao to not be on either extreme, so being with the traveler feels comfy.

so yeah. my two cents.

PS. in my head this is aether/xiao, because i kinda ship lumine with childe >,< my feelings for childe/zhongli are similar to xiaoven, maybe just to a lesser extent but that's a rant for another day.
