When I was a teenager I took my mom’s whole bottle of Xanax a couple of weeks before my 19th birthday because I wanted to die. Plain and simple. I. Needed. To. Die…I still remember watching myself do it, like from a bird-eyes view. Dissociated. I blacked in &out of consciousness for 48hours &spent 4 days in a mental facility. 11 years later, family matters are way worse now to the point I’ve cut off all contact. I’ve gotten much stronger and I’m so thankful to be here because The Most High put something great inside of my soul. In 2020, I felt hopeless &plotted on death again. Christ met me at my lowest &The Holy Spirit made itself known to me. God showed me my true power &worth. I promise to make You proud for saving me. You are my everything. I realize now that I’ve never been alone. The stone the builders refused will be the key cornerstone. 👑

April Stress Awareness Month Week 3
Week 3 (Apr 15) Challenges:
Active- Get Active, move around. Whether it’s running a marathon, doing a martial art, taking a stroll, some stretching, or playing with a pet; anything that gets you moving can work off stress. No matter the level, speed, or whatever; any movement works. Make sure to go at your pace and don't overextend/exert yourself as that could lead to energy (which would increase your stress not lower it).
B- build routines and schedules that work for you. Link tasks together to remember them (examples: brush your teeth in the shower, take meds when you start your coffee/morning drink, etc.) Take the things you already do regularly and add in one or two things at a time to build up your routines. Don’t try to add too many things at once.
C- Center yourself. Take time to relax and recharge. Make sure you are focusing on top priorities and not stressing over the little things, those can wait. Try a brain dump exercise to help achieve this

People: Doing anything fun for your birthday?
Me: getting a free shake at steak n shake, doing some homework, and taking a bath with a bath bomb that looks like a cupcake.
People: That’s it?
Me: I’m not working, so it’s a win.
