It seems like this has been a busy time of year for almost everyone, but here's an update for those who care to read:

I'm currently going through a bit of a health crisis. I've had a nightly fever ranging from 100-104°F for two months and fatigue so bad that daily activity feels like I'm wearing 40 pound weights. My job isn't one that allows people to prioritize their health (I'm certain that if I died, I'd still receive an email asking if I'd made sub plans beforehand 🙄), so it's been hard to get into the doctor. I finally had a laundry list of tests done on Thursday and am waiting for results. I'm hoping for some sort of diagnosis so that I can finally have some answers, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't afraid of what that diagnosis could be given the symptomology. Also, if anyone has had a similar journey, I'd love to chat 🥺

On top of that, work is...complicated. I work about 60 hours a week consistently and each week, more is put on my plate. We had a gun scare a few weeks ago, and legislation to allow volunteers and employees to conceal carry on school property just passed the house in my state, so naturally, I'm afraid to go to work every day. It's making me seriously question my career for the first time in a decade.

It's all been a lot. I'm hoping to get back into writing and supporting other writers, but if I don't respond, reblog, or post for a while, this is why. I'm considering putting my current stories on a formal hiatus until I can dedicate more time to them. I appreciate each one of you and I'll do my best to pop up and show some love and support when I can 🖤

Haha, yeah, but he struggles with them since he's all about obedience (for their own safety) and rules. But, if they listen, he's great with them!

He does like kids, he just doesn't like being responsible for them (who does, though?)

i know i’m super privileged that this is a problem that i have but it’s still a problem i would like not to have.
