First time i'm knitting a colourwork jumper. It is very slow process, but i like the pattern. Some floats are too tight and some are too loose...but i'm getting the hang of it ( i think).

I'm participating in the 2024 Stretching MAL by @creationsbyvalorie from A Visit with Nana and Papa podcast over on Youtube.

It is a great way to try out new (and scary) things!

That's gonna be a circle skirt with pockets

I started with 150 stitches and went up to 720 just before the moss stitch and then I used an i-cord bind off (last 3 are still on the needle) so you can guess how long that bind off alone took me (multiple hours)

Not quite sure yet how to block it

The front of the pocket slits will get an i-cord too, the back should be fine when I sew the fabric on

Since there's 45% cotton in the yarn it's not that springy-backy so I hope the way I intend to attach the elastic to the waist band is gonna work

The pockets will be attached to the elastic as well. Let's see how that turns out

There's a lot of trial and error in this thing 😅

Mein Kleid ist fertig 😃

Eigentlich den Pullover #turtledove II von Espace Tricot.

Ich habe ihn einfach länger gestrickt 😉

Ich liebe das Kleid jetzt schon. Ich glaube, ich werde mir noch mehr davon stricken.

Gestrickt habe ich ihn aus selbstgesponnener Merinowolle.

Jetzt ist es noch zu warm, um das Kleid zu tragen aber der Winter wird ja noch kommen.

My first mitten i ever knitted. It is from a free vintage pattern and let me tell you it is so easy and fast to knit up.

The only mistake that i found in the pattern ( i think) is that the first two rows of the pattern got switched.

Mein Kolding ist auch fertig geworden. Das Garn ist gesponnener Merino/Alpaka-Mix. Leider, wie ich finde, wieder zu dick für den Kolding.

Und mir ist das Garn ausgegangen. Deshalb habe ich wie im Original das farblich andere Dreieck im Tuch.

Er ist auch an der Seite etwas kürzer….

Mir gefällt er trotzdem und ist ein guter Jackenersatz für kühlere Tage.

Jetzt werden meine beiden anderen Projekte fertig gestrickt und ich habe schon wieder 100 Ideen im Kopf.
