mostly tracing over the pharos concept art but this is just for fun. chuuya and the bestie (boy he is sealed within)

#if youre wondering about the blank space that was supposed to be a side profile but i was having such a hard time i gave up #yes theyre both trans. this holds no weight on the story but its a thing #well. dazai is. im not sure how being trans would work out for chuuya considering being literally death but there is definitely an allegory #theyre obviously not going to have the similarities appearance-wise so i had to think abt how to tie them together #pharos' prison fit now comes from dazais striped dress #theres also the bracelets & choker. chuuyacore but also one for every bandaged section #also i tend to draw dazai and chuuyas hair similar so theres that #its especially apparent in their little middle bangs i think #this appeals to nobody but me and was mainly for a joke abt chuuya & ryojis stage actors but. its a thing now !#i like to think that present day dazai/minato wears the eye bandages. or maybe an eye patch #and ryoji chuuya can get his gloves and hat #now everyone imagine chuuya standing menacingly over dazais bed every night and talking to him threateningly to help #well i imagine here he would actually be on purpose threatening instead of just creepy fhfhdhdh #dazai would definitely push his buttons. rip chuuya im so sorry #well now ive drawn both of skk as pharos. this probably says smth about me #my art :d #skk #ryomina too technically but it feels unfair to tag it that

today I put on a different mask and it felt better than the usual

#meaning: today i melted into my outfit and decided to change my personality in small ways to fit how i dressed myself #im wearing something very . hm. well it's black and plaid and stripes and it's way more cohesive than it sounds #a broad shouldered oversized black button up with grey plaid slim fit slacks #black platform boots and a black tie w white and grey stripes #one silver hoop earring a bunch of black and silver rings and slicked back hair #this all matters Because depending on what im wearing my mood changes a little. so do my mannerisms. for the better or the worse #i assume this is pretty normal (otherwise why do ppl dress up to feel fancy or dress down when they already feel sluggish..?)#but anyway i was less of a people pleaser today!#LOL #i drew a line. i told someone no nicely but clearly.#i asked someone else to hang out next week and i didn't act unsure of myself even if i felt that way inside #i spoke up in class as usual but without adding my infamous “.... if that makes any sense?” at the end #i made a mistake and got corrected and i accepted it cooly with a grin and a nod #i felt scared the whole time but to concluded: i quite like this version of the mask #sure it's not all true to how i feel #but it actually helps instead of feeling fake and exhausting #the mask that i wear to make people like me is also untrue but it hurts me way more #this sounds corny ugh WHATEVER.#the one thing i didn't like however was that. i noticed that i kept a straight face most of the morning so far and it kinda made my mood #worsen?#like not allowing myself to loom surprised when i feel surprised or look worried when i am or smile when i see something silly? that #feels bad #i dont like being so guarded #but i also hate when my facial expressions are obvious. like yesterday #i cant seem to find a middle ground because they both make me feel uncomfortable in different ways #z.post

Obviously I bought it! The collar is Slightly odd with a stitch down the center, like a very shallow V Neck, and it’s quite big on me lol, but it’s very workable! And so soft, like you wouldn’t believe. Very comfy!

Also, pretty sure I’ve talked about this before, but here’s a refresher: I always pick up any Lalaloopsy from any second-hand shop I find them in, being out of production and so inexpensive and so cute - I’m a casual collector ♥ I never expect to see them, so I’m always so excited when they’re there! I actually managed to get three this time, not only with their original clothes, but also their shoes! (Why are they always missing their shoes?) And you’ll never guess which ones, what they were wearing:

#Doodles #Lalaloopsy #I've never seen so many striped articles of clothing in one place - let alone with so many Extra Details!#Way too complex for my simplistic character design lol I am but a humble cartoon #The skirt in the shirt section was truly the perfect comedic setup like - I literally couldn't make that up it's too silly! But it happened!#There were even a couple more striped shirts that didn't make the cut here! Mostly the long-sleeved ones #Like there was one that was Mostly striped but then had a?? red plaid jagged-cut collar/upper half?? Very confusing lol #The button accents on the shoulders were nonsensical but cute - I just like buttons #Obviously lol ♪ Gosh what a lucky shopping day that was!#I even found a tool to help with one of my side projects :D And got divine inspiration without having to purchase to unlock! Lol #Still haven't used the divine inspiration but I've got it so that's the important part lol #Also - I am still masking in public :0 It's not something I drew here because it's not as visible to me since it's on my face #So I just - forget lol #It's also not as expressive but that's mostly secondary to it just not registering lol #I mean heck I wear my rainbow bracelet literally every second of the day and how often do I remember to draw it on myself?#As clearly evidenced here lol and no that wasn't on purpose! #today's art adventure #these are made the same way as the werthers one because it looked so significantly better than keith's initial one #nicer fit nicer embroidery and these have the same canvas-y twilled backing #speaking of twill I have reached a point in my fabric quest that I'm going to call Just Giving Up #I have been scouring every place I can think of for anything remotely suitable for ewen's kilt and finding Nothing Even Remotely Suitable #so wish me luck as I spent many many podcast episodes hand embroidering the stripes into this nice dark red fabric I did manage to find #predicting much weeping wailing &c for my future #but I did find a really lovely knotwork button that'll make a perfect cloak-clasp at some point so I'm excited to put it to use!

My outfits get less colorful the worse my depression is, and this is really common iirc someone catalogued Theresa May's outfits on a timeline of her rise and fall and towards the end it was greys and blacks

Looking at the boys' and men's clothing sections at the store, seems like cis men have that depression wardrobe forced upon them when they outgrow the boys' section

#all this is to say i accidentally bought boys' boxer briefs instead of men's #apparently stripes are for children and solid colors are for men 😞#men's button-up shirts are slowly getting better/louder/ more colorful #i guess underwear is lagging?
