I'm aware of what this scene is, but I am in love with Zoro's facial expression (and his dedication to even buying a shirt that looks like it is somehow three sword style?) so very much. Not just because then lovely exposed throat, earrings that make me want to tug them *just to see what happens* or because of my god look at that puppy dog expression. I'm aware he could rip out my throat, I still want to pet him.

I can't tell if he's confused or he's thinking, "Wonder how many times I could cut it up before it's no longer sliceable?"

Like Nami's expression says they're staring at something horrifying.

Zoro's says "Huh, so that's what a shichibukai looks like."

"Kay gonna go attack now."

#As a student of media critic I am very aware that changing medium necessitates changes #I accept that adaptions are just that and need to be seen as seperate from past works #at the same time I need certain elements to remain consistent and true to the spirit of the show #you know like the importance of freedom; found family #Zoro reacting to every single shichibukai he meets with 'Yeah I could take him' and immediately charging in sword first #it's not about replicating the original source #it's about being true to it's essence #oh he will also need to look completely serious while riding on the back lf ridiculous animals #these are important parts of his characterization that cannot be sacrificed #one piece #roronoa zoro #one piece au #cat burglar nami #this idiot #i love him #Zoro's sense of direction and/or fashion #amusing musings

Weird times at work

In middle school summer camp one of my friends would recite old fake Tumblr posts but none of my friends were as online as I was so no one believed me when I told them she was just reciting Tumblr posts and not her own stories. They weren't even real as Tumblr posts like girl you can't make up your own LIES?

#god what a time. the two i remember most distinctly was one where its like- their math teacher is freaking the fuck out and yelling-#-'whats two plus two! whats two plus two!' and the student in front of the teacher wasnt paying attention so they whisper 'five' to them-#-and they say five and the teacher gets so frustrated he walks out of the class #which i literally heard her say that and was like. thats. a tumblr post. i saw that tumblr post. thats was also 100% a lie on tumblr also #and then the second one was about having a dream about a duck who judged peoples fashion choices #which i find so funny like. ITS A DREAM. NO ONE COULD CALL YOU A LIAR IF YOU SAID IT WAS A DREAM YOU HAD.#UNLESS YOU LITERALLY TOOK IT FROM A TUMBLR POST. WHICH SHE DID #wild shit. i literally called her ass out on that and all of my friends were like 'jay no shes telling the truth be reasonable!' No She Isn #and bc we didnt have internet at the summer camp i didnt get to show them the posts #but when i got home i literally texted one of the other girls screenshots of the posts and was like. I WAS NOT LYING.#wild shit. so glad i dont have to be 14 anymore
