what kind of student you are at school?
I’m not quite sure, by this was a fun reflective activity. I know that I have a reputation for reliability, enthusiasm and being someone who will always give to her best - things that I’ve built upon during my years at uni.
It’s my final year of university, and I’m at a stage where I feel so comfortable here. I’ve spent a lot of time talking to lecturers, staff, students, and it’s become a point where many people will stop by where I work to have a catch up. I love it, talking to academics is probably one of the advantages of being at university as you can learn so much - not just from them, but from where the conversation goes and what they ask you. I would really recommend you try and strike up more casual conversations and see where it leads (in my case: multiple fully funded PhD opportunities, invites to events and workshops, and also free coffee). Talking to students is great for friends (duh) but also creates a support network, people with different projects know different labs and techniciens that can help you, and also means I’ve always known the majority of people in any group project.
(What I remind myself: Disregard any thoughts of what is cringy or not - don’t be afraid to show your interest. Listen. Understand. Appreciate what the person is saying)
I’ve been told I give off the air that I “have my life together”. It doesn’t always feel that way but it’s mainly down to one thing: I have a consistent routine. Every day I’m in uni, studying at the same place at 7/8am, and it allows me to get so much done. I’m not a “gets 100% on every test” person but I will always deliver what I promise, and give it my best shot.
Finally, enthusiasm. Throw away any thought that being negative is cool. Talk excitedly about the subjects you find interesting! Ask questions! Appreciate the small joys at university! The coffee was hot, the sun is rising, the company is good! The opportunities - talks, events, seminars, workshops - are free to attend! There are so many people from so many different backgrounds and there is so much to learn!
(And recognise that university isn’t everything. I could probably go from great grades to excellent ones if I spent more time on work. But instead I work at my job, I volunteer, I exercise regularly and bake, I socialise. I spend time in my bed reading and watching YouTube. And those things bring far more value to both the world and myself than a few points higher.)

Hello friends!
I can’t believe I start graduate school in less than a month! I’m trying to find the motivation to work on some before school activities, however, I’ve been dealing with a covid infection for the past week and its been extremely draining trying to stay productive. I’m trying to find new apps, products, and websites to help me study for pharmacy school, so if you have any ideas, please send them my way! I also wanted to do book reviews on Tumblr. A lot of the books I’ve been reading recently are not necessarily new, but I still think it would be a great creative outlet for me to share and write about them. I’ve been trying to buy less books and loan them from library on my iPad. That’s all for now, but I for sure have to find some furniture for my new apartment and start packing to move next month.
P.S. Please share some ways you feel productive, any study aids you like, or books that you love!

Very glad that I don’t have to pay my own heating bills around now cause it’s fucking cold and heating is fucking expensive
Don’t tell any fourth years that though, or they will basically move in with you for the heating

'72-year-old bookseller, living in Rabat, Morocco, spends 6 to 8 hours a day reading books. Having read over 5000 books in French, he remains the oldest bookseller in Rabat, spending more than 43 years in the same location.
When asked about leaving his books unattended outside, where they could potentially be stolen, Mohamed responded that those who can’t read don’t steal books, and those who can, aren’t thieves.'
