I love sport anime’s so much bc they always make me feel so fucking HYPE 👏👏👏

AND THIS SHOW WASNT AN EXCEPTION!

I wasn’t sure how they’d go about animating the actual skating and if it was cgi/3D I was going to be sad but I dunno what they did but it looked amazing! Studio bones created another masterpiece and it’s an original too! Hell yeah!!

I love Langa and I hope his skate name is Yuki. He’s Canadian (like myself lol) and I love that he used the knowledge he already had from snowboarding to troubleshoot how skate! I’m nervous about how he’s going land tho… like I’m feeling like the board is going to break or something… we’ll have to see though lol

Also! I enjoy Reki quite a bit and I’m interested in learning more about him! Like why he loves skating so much, etc! Like I know nothing about him besides he’s working, a student, and likes to skate but isnt the best 😂 I kinda thought he’d be annoying but it wasn’t that bad at all! Him and Langa bounce off each other nicely to pace everything well so far!

Another fav! Cherry! I love cherry blossoms and this rich, calligraphy, tech-overlord looking-dude is my jam. He looks and lowkey acts like an ass, he also sometimes has that evil red glint in his eyes, but he let Reki on his snazzy motorcycle so maybe he’s no so bad?

I’m VERY excited for the next episode! I hope they can keep up this hype feeling for the rest of the season!
