It’s been too long.

Hello friends! I’m lowkey back!! Let me justify my absence- my diploma literally does not require much studying. It’s very production based, and you’d usually see my work is done in TV production studios and behind cameras and papers, so trust me when I say that when a quiz finally pops up, it’s one of the rare moments I was able to visit the library and cozy up to do some revision... and boy it felt so good to be here!!

3 - 5 - 19 || The one where I (finally) post

"Always remember that you have the gift of a voice. That you can always speak up and change the world little by little through your words. A simple positivity goes a long way."

My therapist always likes to remind me that I have my own voice. That when something is bothering me, I can always speak up about it. As a person who gets anxious a lot and is usually quiet, I tend to forget this. It's easy to feel like we're just passerbys or wallflowers, that we're just spectators in this world; but we also have a voice.

We can say 'no' if we disagree, and 'yes' if we do. We can say if we are uncomfortable and we can say if we're sad. We can tell someone we love them and or if we're mad at them. It's alright to express your emotions and thoughts. It's alright to be vulnerable.

Jeg tog ikke til forelæsning i dag, følte mig simpelthen så drænet efter i går. Har også meldt afbud til de venner, jeg skulle have været til drag bingo med. I stedet har jeg været lidt praktisk.

Jeg gik ned for at handle stort ind, fordi jeg havde hørt, at min lokale SuperBrugsen tager studierabat. Jeg havde ikke lige tænkt over, at det at handle kan gøre mig endnu mere ængstelig, end jeg allerede er i dag. Efter at have lagt alle mine varer på båndet, sagde kassedamen, at jeg skulle bruge Studiz til at få min studierabat. Køen bag mig voksede og voksede, og jeg rystede simpelthen så meget på hænderne, mens jeg forsøgte at få det til at virke. Da det endelig gjorde, angstsvedte jeg SÅ meget. En sød, ældre dame sagde: “Det var godt, at du gjorde det!” til mig flere gange, mens vi stod side om side og pakkede vores varer. Hun kunne nok godt se, hvor ængstelig jeg var.

Nu har jeg brugt de sidste to timer på at lave virkeligt meget mad. To kæmpe grydefulde, som er blevet pakket i æsker og sat i fryseren. Self care Wednesday er sat i gang
