How to learn new foreign words 💡

7 steps - 7 days method to memorise new foreign words

Day 1

Write 25－30 words, but no random words. You can add pictures or combine these words with your native language words (ex. my 사랑 mother) ✍🏼

Day 2

Repeat these words and create flashcards. It is better to use Quizlet because it has a built-in translator and audio 🗃️

Day 3

Record audio how you pronounce words with intonation. Before recording, don’t be lazy to check all transcriptions or how native speakers pronounce them🗣️

Day 4

Go through your list of words again, put away paper and try to write as many words as you remember with translation 🧠

Day 5

Listen to your audio and while listening, write words (on day 3, when you record words, rearrange them). So this day you take dictation 👂🏼

Day 6

Flashcards 5-7 minutes or more (actually you can do them when you have a free minute during these days) ⏰

Day 7

In the morning, repeat words - say them out loud and write. While writing, try to combine with words you have already known. In the evening do it again 📚

Don’t forget to check these words with flashcards or audio from time to time adding new words 📆

So, ich vergisst über diese Blog für eine kurze Zeitweil ich extrem müde war. heute, es regent von 2 am bis 6 am aber jetzt ist heiß :").

mein letztes Wochenende war ruhig. Ich wünschte, es gäbe zwei Sonntage. Mehr freizeit für mich.

Die B2 Prüfungen ist in einem Monant, ich glaube, dass ich noch nicht bereit bin.

Leben mit ADHD ist nicht sehr einfach. studieren ohne Zeit für mich selbst ist schwer.

What Makes German Difficult to Learn?

German has a bad reputation for being difficult to learn. For centuries students around the world have been stuck translating German back and forth from their mother tongues, usually long, horribly boring passages made to illustrate a grammar rule or something. Hemingway himself studied German and wrote about his experiences in an essay where he talked about the struggles English speakers face when learning this difficult language.

But what makes learning German so difficult?

The only reason German seems so difficult to people is because there are grammar rules that other languages don't have. Enrolling in a German language course will help you learn more about grammar rules.

German is a language with a relatively high degree of "inflection," meaning that words in a sentence change based on their grammatical roles. For example, adjectives and articles need different endings to show which part of the sentence is the subject and which is the object. It would be great if you could do a German language course online.

Like English, German has many set phrases and verbs that go with specific prepositions. Adding another preposition or prefix to a verb can completely change the meaning. In English, a business can "go down" if rental prices "go up".

There is also the question of pronunciation. After a handful of spelling reforms, German is spoken much like it is written, but has some consonants and vowels that don't exist in English. Some of them look like their English counterparts, but it's hard enough to be confusing. Attending a class at a German language training center would be a good idea.

These elements certainly seem to be a tough nut for the German to crack. Don't worry, though—it's easy to balance out all the difficult features. Manjurans Academy is one of the most German coaching centers in Kerala.

In German, you have the initial disadvantage that it takes longer to form simple sentences, especially compared to a language like Indonesian, where only words come up.

However, if you know English you will be at a great advantage as you will have a better foundation of shared vocabulary and cultural knowledge. That advantage only increases if you know French or another Romance language.

As you reach more advanced levels, you'll see your vocabulary grow exponentially because you'll have already learned all the roots you need to create those long German nouns.

meta knight is the character ever. he got to wish for literally anything he wanted and he wished to fight against the strongest warrior in the galaxy, he has zero communication skills, he didn't like how everyone lazes around all day so he decided to overthrow the government and failed, his ship has his face plastered on the front for no reason, he decided to go down with said ship, he has a strict moral code but is willing to throw hands with an 8 year with no hesitation, he keeps getting his ass kicked by said 8 year old, he has a sweet tooth and feels the need to hide it even though literally everyone around him loves sweets. he's punched jk rowling in the face

one thing about learning languages is that yes, learning in itself is fun but what’s even greater is the fact that all your other interests and hobbies can be looked at with another shade of light. I personally love philosophy and to be able to read another language’s nuances and concepts and understand it more than you ever could with a translation? incredible.
