How to Get Sh*t Done in a Study Group

chance is ill use this for 2 days and forget about it, but it seems pretty wholesome :))

I could not know how tomorrow looks like, the mood I’ll get up to or the people who’ll talk to me. I could try and guess, shoot my shot and make a try. see what happens next and plan nothing. I could not know what the next few seconds hold for me, but I perfectly know what’s going to happen on this day in a year. I woke up this morning and felt my heart skipping a beat - 18th of october. a date that just a year ago meant absolutely nothing to me. a still meaningless day for most people out here. and yet, in a year, today, I’ll have sat down at a desk and got nearer to my future. in a year, today, all the studying, all the efforts I’m now doing will partly be put down on paper and sat aside for a month or two, closed in a drawer no one knows about. part of my future will be determined by this day in a year. what a responsibility! shivers down my spine thinking about it. there’s still so much I need to do, not enough time to do everything and to be everything, but somehow I’m managing to cope with it, get through it and work well on the fundamentals. building up a future for yourself no one, with a few exceptions, knows about is hard and overwhelming and it makes you busy. but, gosh, the satisfaction will be worth it all.

Let's Study Together

My classes started again this week, and I was looking for new ways to study and found a very cool website called Study Together.

The goal of this platform is to provide you with a virtual room that you can choose to use individually or in a group. In this virtual environment, you can set the focus time according to the Pomodoro technique, add tasks and goals, choose images and background sounds. The platform itself offers various cool options like anime gifs, sounds of rain, etc., or you can also add a YouTube video. In addition to all of this, there's also a gamification system with badges and challenges. I will try to use it as a tool to try to increase my productivity.

Garage Sale

Well, when the Fentons decided to have a garage sale Danny didn't expect many to be interested. His parents were looking for a way to get money quickly to build more stuff, and he jokingly suggested they could sell some inventions, they took it seriously (Jazz made sure to remove all the lethal inventions, she tried with the ones that might be risky but then they wouldn't sell anything).

Danny knew his parents were strange yes, but he wasn't sure that justified millionaires in his backyard. Millionaires, he'd like to clarify, had never set foot in Amity Park before. He raised an eyebrow at the sight of Bruce Wayne and his sons checking out the appliances. None of them seemed to be interested in the "ghosts" but they hadn't backed down from taking some things either.

So yes, Danny was suspicious. Of course he had made sure the inventions in the sale were safe (although unlike Jazz, he simply decided to make them safe, a few modifications here and there), but the fact that they looked genuinely interested made him uneasy.

Were the Waynes interested in hunting ghosts?

He decided to try something, he crossed eyes with one of them and let his green eyes show before looking away, the boy looked alarmed. He approached him and asked, but Danny feigned ignorance, commenting that all the inventions were green and maybe he had been confused by the reflection (to be fair, most of his parents' inventions were green because of the ecto).

For his part, Bruce had received an alert from Justice League Dark, it seemed they had detected a strange energy, similar to magic, so the bats set out to investigate. They didn't expect to find a garage sale in a house in the middle of nowhere (Amity Park wasn't even marked on the fucking map). Nor did they expect advanced technology or mad scientists.

Bruce decided to pretend he had stumbled into town as "Brucie Wayne" and buy a few things. He shuddered to see that many inventions worked with Lazarus water. Jason, who had strangely agreed to come along, was also upset about the son of the scientists.

Bruce questioned whether he had found a family of villains in the making.

Messy desk, soft light and dessert! I lowkey want to go enroll myself in a class or something, last summer I spent all of my time at work and honestly I was so burnt out by the time my semester started that I promised myself I would never work full time while I'm still a student but a little class wouldn't hurt, right?

Re-watched "Confessions of a Shopaholic"

Organized my old journals in hopes of starting journaling again!

Made homemade caramel

Did some history research for some writing I've been meaning to do!

I need to clean properly but I'm so slow at it T-T I hate cleaning. Also I ate three types of dessert today while ignoring my sister's texts about going to the gym. It's going great. I was planning to go for a walk today but the pollution is at an all-time high for some reason so I skipped it, gotta check the weather tomorrow and maybe I will go then. I don't have a song of the day for you today :( I didn't listen to music much and nothing was really stuck in my head either~

Footnote: "Confessions of a shopaholic" is nicely comedic and at the same time I criticize it a lot but then again that's how I am with all of my rom coms.
