day 3 / 100 days of productivity challenge

i wasn't able to post yesterday due to power outage :(

thanks to studyblr i now have a accountability buddy! @th3lastlin3

so far it's been very nice and helpful to have someone to be productive with!!

yesterday i went to gym(finally!) and did my 9 to 5 job, after that i studied japanese before the power outage happened. I was mostly redoing N3 level exercises before starting N2 books.

i wish i was able to do compsci and coding more :(

can't say i did a lot yesterday (06.09) for which i am compensating today (07.09)

Why I made this studyblr

I've been meaning to join the studyblr community for a while and finally got around to it now.

My main motive is to keep myself accountable, track my progress and motivate myself. (This feels like an interview lol)

Anyways, I've been spending a lot of time scrolling on Tumblr so I thought if I am spending time on Tumblr why not use it do document/track my studies and maybe looking at others doing the same would motivate me too.

7th of September, 2023

we had another power outage today 😭👎 because of it i had to clock off my job earlier and now i have to work extra hours tomorrow

i went to a coworking space but had internet problems, so i studied japanese for a bit. i’m still revising N3 and today i did some reading exercises!

after coming home i tutored for an hour and took a little break. then i immediately started html/css practice

i haven’t touched html and css in such a long time so i spent my evening just revising the basics. i made a little personal cv page which i’ll continue updating tomorrow

then i found some time to journal! finally!! i journalled and now i’m going to sleep 😴 it was a pretty long day

tomorrow i planned:

- gym

- 9-7pm work

- html/css practice

- japanese practice

- hang out with my friend

movies/books that summarize you: this is tough. My favorite book series is The Shadow Hunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare. I've read the first book over 10 times in every form. One of my favorite movies is Silver Linings Playbook. I've also been told to watch Lady Bird a lot but I've only seen the first half of it. My comfort TV show is specifically the second episode of Russian Doll. Guess that's a summary?

favorite song: right now maybe You're On Your Own Kid by Taylor Swift. My most listened to song according to my phone is New Perspective by Panic at The Disco.

i started journaling again today! though i don’t have a great track record with consistency in that area. i don’t always have time to bare my soul to my notebook, but i think it’s nice to take some time to scribble down what i’m grateful for. today, it’s time spent catching up with friends, a warm and cozy outfit and the last slice of chocolate cake. let’s practice gratitude together, even on the days when it’s hard to think of anything. tell me what you’re thankful for today!
