35/100 days of productivity I did quite a bit of work today but, that's not what I'm going to write about. I'm really starting to get stressed out and lose confidence in myself on whether or not I can get three A's and get into my firm choice. I really can't wait to go to university and do chemistry and I honestly have been working throughout the year, or at least I thought I was, the only trouble now is that I can't seem to be getting the grades and I feel like there's loads of information left that I don't know. There's still about 6-7 weeks before my first exam so I've got a decent amount of time to get revising hard core again, I'm just losing motivation and I need to get back into it. Believe it or not, just writing this out for 30 seconds has really helped me relieve some tension.

Hi!
My name is Mae (not my first name btw but I prefer to go by it) and I’m new for the studyblr community(kind of not really).
I made this blog back in 2015 (lol) but I was only 13. I didn’t really feel like I belonged just because I was so young and didn’t do “hard” subjects yet (which is stupid because all of you are the loveliest people omg). However now I’m 15 and high school is starting to get serious so I thought ‘hey why not stop lurking and put this to good use’!
Anyway that’s just a bit of my history with studyblr (a little bit boring sorryy)
about me: short but not too short (5′2), australian, has stepped foot on every continent except antartica, lived in the usa for 4 years, lactose intolerant but simultaneously ice cream lover (thankfully so many alternatives nowadays), loves tea so much its a problem, also has a mug problem, fav subject is physiology, wants to do something in the medical field, struggles with anxiety, adhd and executive function disorder but fairly optimistic, current competitive trampolinist (look olympic trampolining up on yt if you don’t know what it is-not a common sport but very very fun)
any other high school studyblrs that have big dreams and aspirations feel free to chat-always looking for new friends!
credit to @nerdastically for the icon since I have nothing right now lol
studyblrs that i love: @eintsein @stillstudies @areistotle @emmastudies @elkstudies @studydiaryofamedstudent @studyblrmasterposts @milkystudies @studychem @nehrdist @lazyhermione @workhardlikegranger

6/100 days of productivity Woke up to early and got to Starbucks before it was packed. Spent the whole day doing chemistry, can't wait till I can go to uni and do this everyday. Completed 3 packs of past papers on transition metals as well as reading through my book and highlighting. Afterwards I tutored some year 12's on Equilibrium and Redox again. Probably going to carry on with Chemistry tomorrow.

5/100 days of productivity Crazy productive day today. Completed my biology exam questions for the week during period 1, wrote 2 history essays during period 2&3 then did chemistry exam questions in period 4. Chilled out a bit after school then prepared a PowerPoint on Equilibrium and Kc for some kids I tutor. Served as good AS revision. Going to spend the whole day tomorrow doing Chemistry.

Revision Tip #1
Find a place to study thats best for you. Believe it or not, your environment impacts your mindset so much so it's so important to make sure that wherever your revising is going to give you the best mindset to study your best. I've been going to my local library for years however, I'm always there with my friends and after a few hours I get bored, tired and distracted. I've realised that even if I'm alone, the library isn't the best place for me to revise because my brain is always going to be in that distracted mindset while I'm there. For the past two weeks, I've been going to a Starbucks which is kind of in the middle of no where so I'm not tempted to leave and go to the shops and my friends are less likely to run into me. I love it! It opens really early and closes really late so I can literally stay her all day if I need to. The barista's here are soooo nice and it's just a great environment to be in. I prefer to be a little more comfortable while watching Netflix on my iPad but I still get loads of work done. I've also made sure to keep this focused mindset by coming alone and only telling a few people where I am so no one else can come and distract me. This way I can work my best and it's really improved my motivation. If you still haven't found a place to study, try everywhere. Different cafes, your bedroom, local library, maybe even an empty classroom at school. The more places you try, the more likely you are to know what works for you.
