Dream trip: I’d love to go back to New Zealand. My mum is from there and so i’ve been a few times but only to visit family. I’d love to go with a couple of friends and just explore.

Play any instruments? I do! I can play Acoustic and Bass Guitar, Ukulele, and Keyboard. I used to play violin when I was younger but I don’t anymore.

Languages: English, and basic conversational French and Spanish. I understand a few words of Maori and Gaelic too, emphasis on the ‘few words’.

Intro post what what

Hiya, I’m Studi-yes or H, whichever you prefer!!

I’m a Kurdish-Australian who is in her final year of high school and is feeling crazy overwhelmed lmao.

I’ve always kinda lurked on the studyblr part of tumblr but I’ve only recently really committed to being more active. As a heads up, I’m super lazy, I procrastinate like a mad woman, I’m usually either really good or really bad at my subjects because I get stuck in loops of self doubt due to bad grades that lead to laziness that lead to bad grades - it’s a self perpetuating cycle lmao. Also, I’m really, really messy and my handwriting can only be described as legible.

STILL. I wanted to make a studyblr because I feel that the more actively I involve myself in a community of intelligent, driven and productive individuals the more likely that is to rub off on me. Plus, this is kind of a way to hold myself accountable?? And to track my progress and development.

2.Do you believe in aliens?: Yes. After all, we know only a small, small part of Universe!

3.Likewise, do you believe in ghosts?: Nope.

4.If you have pets, can you tell us about them, and if you don’t, what pet would you like?: Do fish count as pets? In that case, they are a lot and there’s this big one ( it’s an Ancistrus Dolichopterus) called Gollum that makes a mess everytime he moves.

5.If you had the opportunity to go to space, would you go?: No, I’m too chicken for that I fear hahaha.

6.If you could learn any instruments overnight, what would it be?: The piano, only because everyone in my family but me plays it.

7.Similarly, if you could learn any language overnigh, what would it be?: Japanese and German!!

8.What music gives you feelings of nostalgia?: Disney music and anime openings (...) especially the early 2010s ones.

9.What are five things that make you really happy?: Food, warmth in all its forms, rain, my fluffy blanket and writing.

10.What’s the first thing you notice about a person when you meet them?: Their face. But as soon as they look at me, I turn around really quickly haha.

11. What’s something you dream of doing in the future?: Having a small appartment that I can style however I want, and have a good job suitable for my future major.

hello!! i’ve been thinking of making a studyblr for a while now and finally got around to it. i hope this will help me procrastinate less and hold myself more accountable for my self-studies! also, don’t be afraid to message me- i’m always up for making new friends!

i’m 17 and going into my senior year of high school

i’m a capricorn/intj-t
