Favorite color: Baby blue & sage green.

Currently reading: Anna Karenina.... I know I talk about it a lot, but I have to reiterate just how good it is. I never enjoyed Tolstoy's shorter stories but Anna Karenina is a delight to read. The characterizations in particular are excellent.

Last song: Do The Strand by Roxy Music.

Last series: No clue, I don't watch TV.

Last film: The Leopard (1963) dir. Visconti. I heartily recommend it, if you're willing to sit through three hours of subtle social commentary on 1860s Italy.

Sweet/spicy/savory: Sweet or savory. I can't stand spicy food :(

Currently working on: Staying alive, mostly. Also, a historical novel, college applications, classwork, an 1870s corset cover, and a myriad of other things!

You could try “The Troop” by Nick Cutter! “Bunny” by Mona Awad is also excellent, but not quite horror.

This may be too pop fiction-y but Clive Barker's Books of Blood is quite good and from what I remember quite scary too, Carmen Maria Machado's Her Body & Other Parties is one of my favourites but she does a lot of experimental writing so its def up to personal preference (its also more magic realism than horror but I think it counts)

The characters names are engraved: ΠΕΛΕ on the left, ΘΕΘΙΣ in the middle, and the attendant nereid ΓΑΛΑΙΝΑ (Calaina or Galene) on the right.
